Chapter 17 - Shen Xiu

Ye Feng, Xiao Ning'er and Ye Ziyun were walking to school when Ye Ziyun suddenly dropped the bomb and asked Xiao Ning'er,

''Ning'er, does your family bully you?''

Xiao Ning'er's body visibly shuddered and quickly shook her head and said with a bitter smile, ''They only do what they have to do''

''Like trying to sell you? Trying to take away your freedom?'' Ye Feng asked with a cold expression.

Xiao Ning'er looked away with a sad expression and didn't respond but suddenly felt Ye Ziyun grab her head which made her look at her with a confused face.

''Why not move to the City Lord Mansion? Shen Fei won't be able to do anything to you there!'' Ye Ziyun said with anticipation, she would help her friend AND she would have her friend around her all the time!

''B...but...my family won't accept that'' Ye Ning'er said with a disappointed tone but Ye Ziyun tapped her shoulder and said,

''I'll have my father deal with that!''

'Normally she wouldn't ask her father anything, it's obvious how much this means to her and since Ye Zong knows about her loneliness now, I doubt he would refuse' Ye Feng thought and smiled to himself, this would give him some more time to deal with Shen Fei.

The three of them continued walking to school with Xiao Ning'er trying to refuse out of goodwill and not trying to become a 'burden' in her eyes while Ye Ziyun was determined to get Ning'er into the City Lord Mansion.

In the end, under the persuit of Ye Ziyun and Ye Feng, she could only reluctantly agree with a smile on her face.

Although this would negatively influence the Xiao Family, that really wasn't her problem anymore.

The three of them arrived at school and Ye Feng soon noticed Shen Xiu motioning him to follow her.

''Where are you going?'' Ye Ziyun asked Ye Feng when she saw him walking from his seat.

''I will be right back'' Ye Feng smiled at her and continued walking, totally ignoring the hateful looks he got from Shen Yue.

''Ziyun, do you want to go somewhere with me today? You choose where!'' Shen Yue asked Ye Ziyun who was still looking at Ye Feng's departing figure and turned towards Shen Yue when she saw Ye Feng walk around the corner.

''We are not close, stop calling me by my first name'' Ye Ziyun said coldly before grabbing her books and taking a seat next to Ye Ning'er to study together.

'That fucker is the cause of this! If only I could've gotten Ye Ziyun, I would've gotten Glory City aswell!' Shen Yue hatefully thought when he thought back about Ye Ziyun's attitude towards Ye Feng and how different it was than how she talked to him!

Meanwhile, Ye Feng was following behind Shen Xiu who walked towards the Offices and walked inside her own Office while motioning Ye Feng to enter.

Ye Feng entered and noticed it was quite big, it even had a balcony!

It was decorated with a desk with 2 chairs on the 'Visiter's' side and a chair for the teacher on the other side with basic decoration in the room which Ye Feng didn't care about.

''Sit'' Shen Xiu said with an impassive face before sitting behind the desk.

Ye Feng shrugged and sat on the chair and put an elbow on the armrest while resting his head on his hand and acted like he was at home.

Shen Xiu saw his attitude and raised an eyebrow but didn't care much, she looked at Ye Feng and asked, ''Where were you yesterday?''

''Training'' Ye Feng replied with disinterest which caused Shen Xiu to become slightly mad and asked,

''Why are you acting this way?!''

''Teacher Shen Xiu, you didn't ask me to come here for that, you want something else, right?'' Ye Feng asked coldly.

Shen Xiu looked at Ye Feng with surprise and cleared her throat, there was no point in hiding it anymore since he knew already anyway.

''Correct, it's about your relationship with Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er'' Shen Xiu said seriously while straightening her back which showed off her impressive bossom.

Ye Feng looked at her with a sarcastic smirk and waiting untill she continued while Shen Xiu looked him in the eyes and said coldly,

''Xiao Ning'er is already engaged to our Sacred Family, you should know about this too''

''Was it her who agreed to do so?'' Ye Feng asked in 'surprise'.

''No, it was an agreement between the families to marry Xiao Ning'er to Shen Fei'' Shen Xiu said with a smile on her face when she looked at Ye Feng who looked as if he was thinking.

Suddenly, Ye Feng looked at her and asked with a confused expression,

''But what has that got to do with me?''

''Hah?!'' Shen Xiu nearly slammed her desk, it was obvious this kid was just screwing around with her!

''Shen Xiu, I will advise you something. I'm not strong, but that is now.... How strong I am is something you don't know either but let me tell you something...'' Ye Feng looked at her and said with a smile while grabbed a Jade Plate from his Spatial Ring.

Shen Xiu looked at the Jade Plate in shock while her mouth opened wide.

''Just like how you want to scare me away with something like 'I'm merely a bodyguard', I will say, 'Maybe I'm not''' Ye Feng grinned and looked at Shen Xiu in amusement, what he had was a token that represented the City Lord Mansion and that he was part of it.

However, what Shen Xiu thought was that the City Lord had already agreed on the relationship between Ye Ziyun and Ye Feng and even gave him a token!

''Shen Xiu, let's both be honest here....'' Ye Feng sighed, Shen Xiu cocked her eyebrow and looked at him as if saying 'continue'

''Shen Fei is a deadbeat, you know that, I know that, he probably even wants you aswell despite being his aunt, Right?'' Ye Feng asked with a grin while Shen Xiu just looked away in disgust.

Ye Feng was right, Shen Fei had been looking at her with lust and greed since a young age.

Although Shen Fei was the heir of the Sacred Family, due to his lazy and lascivious nature he was not the strongest in his Generation.

Although people thought he had more talent than even Ye Han, who was hailed as the brightest Genius in Glory City and might become the next City Lord!

''What does that have to do with the promise between our families? I advise you to stay away from Xiao Ning'er, even the City Lord Mansion can't just come in between other people's agreements'' Shen Xiu said with anger, clearly pissed off by thinking about Shen Fei.

''Indeed, if she acknowledged the engagement, she would be engaged'' Ye Feng said with a grin which made Shen Xiu uneasy.

''Xiao Ning'er never acknowledged the engagement, what you all did is saying 'Oh, she is now engaged!'. That is not how it works''

''Even her parents acknowledged the engagement!'' Shen Xiu said with a cold face, she was right, Xiao Ning'er parents did agree to the engagement due to the pressure of the Xiao Family....

''I see, but she is an adult though'' Ye Feng sneered before continueing, ''So to say, if I go to your Patriarch tomorrow and I ask him, ''Marry Shen Xiu to me'', would you do so?'' Ye Feng sneered.

Shen Xiu's body slightly trembled upon remembering the Jade Plate, if he truly asked for her hand in marriage, no matter how terrible she would have to suffer in the marriage, her brother would still agree.....

''In the end, both you and Xiao Ning'er would have the same fate if you stay weak, to be trampled on or be used as a stress relief because of your beauty'' Ye Feng said without pity, it was clear that this woman had pride in her family, there was also hate for it somewhere in her mind since she knew she was just a tool!

''So what!'' Shen Xiu slammed her desk and stood up while exposing her curves and held her arms under her breast to show them even more and said in a seductive voice, ''Then go ahead and ask for my hand in marriage! But stay away from Xiao Ning'er in the future!''

Ye Feng looked at her with interest, her body was shivering and it was obvious that despite her strong will, she felt terrible.

''Then close your eyes and we will make it official'' Ye Feng played along and said with an arrogant grin on his face.

''*Humph* Just hurry up and do it!'' Shen Xiu said while gritting her teeth and closed her eyes.

'To think my pure body would be defiled by a kid..... But if the engagement gets cancelled, the Sacred Family's reputation will take a big hit since it was refused by a 2nd grade family! And since it happened in my class.... I will take the blame and be tortured again....' Shen Xiu thought while shivering.

*Smack*

Shen Xiu felt her head go numb for a second before putting a hand on top of her head and steadied herself.

Ye Feng had sent a karate-chop on her head and looked at her with a joking smile which made Shen Xiu angry but also felt slightly relieved.

''That is interest, don't ask me to leave one of my wives'' Ye Feng turned around and walked to the door.

''If someone can't responsibility for his actions, one shouldn't act in the first place.... My wives problems are my problems so if you want her....''

''Over my dead body!''

Ye Feng grinned and walked out and closed the door behind him.

Shen Xiu gave a sigh of relief and sat on the chair behind her desk while rubbing her head and looked outside.

''If only I could be married to someone with the same backbone'' Shen Xiu smiled bitterly and knew that the choice wasn't even hers to make in the first place if it came down to it and went back to the classroom.

''Ye Feng!'' Ye Ziyun happily called out, while Xiao Ning'er looked at Ye Feng with a nervous expression, it was clear that she had a feeling about what was being said.

Shen Yue saw his 'future wife' happily smiling and waving to another man and saw Ye Feng approaching, an evil smile appeared on his face and he stretched his leg to make Ye Feng fall.

'Let's show them your embarrassing side for once!' Shen Yue thought with an evil grin.

Ye Feng was only a step away from Shen Yue when he stretched out his leg but how could Shen Yue know Ye Feng was already a Peak 2-Star Bronze Rank Demon Spiritualist?

Ye Feng smiled lightly, if someone saw that smile they would've understood that that smile was by no means a 'gentle' or 'warm' smile.

He lifted his leg and at the last fraction of a second, he glanced at Shen Yue before stamping down on his feet.

''AARRGGGHH!!''

A screamed ran through the classroom and everyone looked at Shen Yue who screamed and lifted his leg and held his feet while he continued to scream.

Ye Feng just continued walking and sat down on his seat.

''He did on purpose for sure!'' Du Ze whispered to Nie Li quietly who looked at the suffering Shen Yue with a smile on his face.

''Isn't that obvious, look how close he is with Ye Ziyun yet Shen Yue keeps trying to woo Ye Ziyun!'' A boy from the row above them said while laughing at Shen Yue.

''That's what he gets if he thinks the world is his!''

The whole classroom was basically filled with people mocking Shen Yue who was already nearly crying from the pain in his foot and glared at the people around him.

''Class Begins!'' Shen Xiu came in and said absentmindedly, she was so absentminded that she didn't even see her cousin sending her pitiful looks.

The school day finished and the three of them walked out of the classroom and out of the building but were greeted by something Ye Feng had always hated,
