12. Mars Hatch

After the core ignition process in the training ground we were carried back by carriage to the castle.

I see Malinda egg are kind of restless, its been like that since 2 month ago the egg just keep shaking and to the point where it start to crack.

I got up and walked towards it, I just stood there with worries that something bad would happen, if its breaking and not hatching I would never be able see Malinda in the eyes again.

after a couple of minutes the first egg shells fall of and reveal a little claw trying to break the rest, I see it hatching with anticipation.

"Is it her child or is it revival?" I mumble out loud while watching the egg start breaking and revealing the rest of the dragon cubs.

the egg break apart in two and I see a white dragon cubs with a strike of black in its back, there are pair of small wings that looks like its made out of a bit shadow around it.

I pick it up and see it in the eyes, it looks at me with curiosity just like I do, "You are not Malinda aren't you?" the cubs just look at me confused.

when suddenly the tattoo in my hand start to heat up and reveal some kind of magic circle which the cubs just watching it.

I look at the cubs with confusion just like how it looks at me "Do you know what have happen?" I asked not hoping for answer but suddenly a voice inside my head sounded.

"Do I look like someone who know?" it is sounded like a boy "is it you who are talking in my head" I asked to the cubs.

"Unfortunately yes, it seems that magic circle just now bonded us" The voice said, "okay... do you have a name?" I asked the cubs not wanting to call him cubs or anything.

"are you stupid?" the cubs said in confusion, "Oh yeah you just hatch haha" I said a bit embarrassed at my stupidity.

"then let me name you then" I give him an option, "fine, you can be said my parent looking that you are the first person that I see" said the cubs.

"hmm, how about Mars, like the god of war" I asked for his opinion, "god of war? what is that? is it strong?" the cub asked not knowing what war is.

"well the one who is called god of war are said to be the strongest force of the war, and a War is where you fought hundred of thousands enemies in the battle field, either because defending your home or your loved one" I explain.

"okay then, I want to be stronger just like a God Of War" said the cubs or Mars now, excitedly.

"You will, by the time you are big enough we will ride together to war and slay our enemies who harm our loved one" I said agreeing with Mars.

"well then, in the future I will be in your care then Mars" I continue and Mars smile while nodding.

I spend the night talking with Mars, We spend our time trough the night when suddenly a scream came out of Arthur room.

I rushed there to see what had happened 'damn is it an assassin? Arthur I hope you are okay' I thought worried because Arthur is in his weakened state after all that.

I slammed the door open and shout "ART!! are you okay!?", I see some kind of silhouette I rushed in at him and when I almost knock him over Arthur screamed at me to stop.

"Arch stop its just Tess" he said, I look at the girl infront of me who hold a black dragon cubs in her arms.

"What?... what are you doing screaming in the middle of night, also Art, you still 8 god damnit" I said in frustration.

"ITS NOT LIKE THAT YOU IDIOT" Art scream at me while I just smirk at him, I was about to leave the room when I see the cubs that are held by Tess look at Mars weirdly.

"Big bro, that one who is held by that human, is she a Dragon?" Mars asked me, we decide that he is my little brother and he will call me big brother.

"It is, I think that is the bond my brother have I don't know who its called though I will asked Art in the morning, Why?" I asked.

"Mate..." Mars said while I was shocked by him 'Oy oy oy, you are not even 1 day old and you already choose your mate?' I thought while looking at Mars weirdly.

morning comes and I walked side by side with Arthur I see the black dragon cubs in his head and I point at it and look at arthur and communicate with Twin Telepathy.

'is that your bond?' I said 'yes, we can just talk normally you know' Arthur look back at me.

"you know some day it will be cool if we are able to ride them in fight" I said "it will, its name is Sylvie btw" Arthur said.

"mine is Mars" I said while Mars and Sylvie seems to be in their staring contest, "Gramps" said Arthur calling out Elder Virion who's eyes are locked on both Mars and Sylvie.

"BRATS, IS THAT A-" he shout and we look at him knowing it will be his reaction "Hahh I will die by an heart attack if I were to continue being shocked like this".
