SIN POV!

Having saved the elves there, wasn't much to do afterwards except wait for the two to get a little more comfortable around me.

Having killed the beasts the slave traders somehow tamed, I used the camp that Luther had set up before his untimely death. I just cooked up some rabbit meat I had come across during my time here.

CRACK!

POP!

The fire crackled a lively flame. We sat in a circle around the campfire, the two girls were still wary of me, but that's only natural. Plus, I don't mind waiting because it won't be long until Grey shows up here. In fact, it should be any minute now.

"Hey, what's your name?" Lifting my head and looking towards the speaker, it was the white haired elven girl. I stared into her eyes for a minute, and now that I think about it… She's absolutely beautiful. Long white hair dawned her head, flowing down to the middle of her back, she sported a single braid within her hair, it was in the front of her head so it was quite noticeable.

Her eyes were a clear sky blue, which were even more stunning reflecting the moonlight above us. Her skin, while dirty right now, was as white as snow, not to mention smooth. Her skin was literally perfect with no blemishes, scars, wounds. Anything.

Well, so is mine but that's because I'm immortal. Can't really get a long lasting wound unless there's something in this world that can hinder regeneration.

Fake coughing, I looked away with a sigh.

"I still haven't told you huh… My name is Sin, and as you can tell- I'm human. How about you two? Who're y'all?" I questioned, lifting my gaze onto them. Tessia coddled up next to the girl seeing me look at her, it's kind of insulting… I mean, I'm glad I instill fear in people, but what the hell man… I didn't even do anything that bad.

Glancing down at Tessia, the girl must've tried to infer what I was thinking, because she looked up at me the next second with an apologetic shine in her eyes.

"Don't mind her… This is all really nerve racking and we still don't know if we can trust you." She explained what I already knew. I just nodded and went back to poking the fire with a stick.

"Anyways, I'm Wysteria Eralith… And this is Tessia Eralith." She introduced with a hand gesture. I nodded with a soft smile.

"Those are pretty names… Who came up with them? Mom or Dad?" Making small talk is a quick and easy way to get someone to subconsciously let their guard down and increase mutual trust.

Plus she's someone I've never heard of, so it's better to get to know her anyway I can.

The girl seemed skeptical about everything I did, it was actually impressive. Usually someone of her age would be happy and naive to finally have made a friend and tell them everything.

Not her though, I guess she's been raised a lot better than I thought. How come Tessia turned out the way she did in the original?

"Mm, my name came from my grandpa actually… Tessia was named by her mother." She replied, keeping things short and sweet.

Nice.

Chuckling, I stood up.

"I should go. You two know your way back to wherever you came from right? If so, good. Be careful this time around." I say with a nod. Grabbing my katana, I turn to leave. Of course I'm not actually going to leave. If she doesn't invite me to take them home, I'll just mind control them into doing so.

I don't really care which way I have to do this but the most humane way is this way.

Taking a few steps off into the darkness of the trees, I heard her call out for me.

"Sin! Wait!" Wysteria's voice is soft and sweet. Just off her voice alone it seemed like she wouldn't even hurt a fly. Suppressing the smile on my face, I turned around and looked at her with a confused gaze.

"What is it?" Her head lowered as her fist clenched on her thigh. Tessia noticed something was wrong but she hasn't spoken since the last time she screamed. She probably got the gist that I was going to leave them on their own again so they'd be left without any sort of protection against stuff like slave traders or wild mana beasts.

"T-Take us home! Please…" Tessia shouted out. It didn't take her long to realize what she had said, she quickly tucked her head into Wysteria's… Bosom?

Glancing over to Wysteria, I saw she looked at me with a pleading smile, though it was slight, she was still trembling from what happened a moment ago.

"...Please? I know you probably have somewhere to be right now, but I don't think we can make it back on our own, especially not with what just happened." She argued. I didn't say anything though, I sighed and feigned being in deep thought, can't show that this is what i've been wanting.

"Sure." Wysteria's face beamed with a hidden joy, her smile widened showing off her pearly whites. Small tears in the corner of her eyes had threatened to fall out, but it only added to her beauty.

'Gosh… Seeing her cry is kind of attractive… Anyway.' I mused. The happy moment however was brought to a close, something was wrong.

'Where the hell is Arthur?' He's supposed to show up around now… Please don't tell me Cadell got his ass too when he got to Sylvia. Fuck, if so then that means my one way into the wealthy family of Helstea's just went up in flames.

A tiny frown pulled on my eyebrows.

"I-Is everything alright? I-It's fine if you don't want to escort us back… We can wait for the Elven guards!" Wysteria said hesitantly.

My frown immediately disappeared when I realized what had happened.

"No, it's fine. I have no problem taking you both home." I said back with the same charming smile as before, though this time, it seems that it had finally taken effect. Wysteria and Tessia had a tiny, almost unnoticeable pinkish red hue on their faces.

"If we want to get back as soon as possible, we should leave now." Turning to leave off into the distance, I heard the two scramble up behind me, Tessia still hugging onto Wysteria's arm.

'She'll warm up soon enough.'

So! With my katana in hand, we began our treacherous path to the Elven Kingdom of Elenoir!

"Ah! I actually don't know where y'alls home is… Can you lead the way?" I asked, rubbing the back of my head in mock embarrassment. Wysteria and Tessia stopped in their tracks and giggled before Wysteria nodded. Taking the lead, the two princesses led me to their home while I protected them…

GENERAL POV.

A couple days have passed since the trio began their adventure. During that time, Tessia and Wysteria had begun to warm up considerably to Sin, they even got as comfortable around him to joke around.

Seeing them so lively and relaxed made Sin feel a little warm inside.

"So, Tessia-"

"I told you to call me Tess!" The little elven girl interrupted, spinning on her heels, an angry pout on her face as she stared Sin in his eyes. Chuckling a little, Sin replied:

"My bad… Tess, do you know how much longer it'd be until we get to the Elven Kingdom?" Tessia hummed a bit before glancing at her sister. Wysteria was right next to Sin, basically hugging him. But she didn't seem to care, neither did Sin.

Tessia ignored this and continued to walk.

"I don't know… But when we're close I'm sure we'll notice!" She said joyfully with a little bounce. Wysteria chuckled before speaking to herself.

"We've memorized what the tree's around our home look like… It'll be pretty easy to find our home, though…" She dragged. Sin glanced at her curiously.

"Though…?" Sin dragged as well.

"We'd have to go through a secret way not many people know about, not even Elves." Her tone was serious and her expression meant business. Sin snorted but didn't say anything.

"Anyways! How did you end up in this forest Sin? It's not everyday this forest gets visitors…" Tessia asked, her question peaking Wysteria's interest. Sin had expected this question though, after all, her words are true. So he made sure to make up a situation.

"Well… I'm an adventurer." It was as simple as that really… Even if he wasn't one yet, he'll eventually become one. He wants to at least have some type of fun before the Xyrus Arc…

Wysteria and Tessia stopped in their tracks, Sin didn't even bother to look back.

"What is it? It can't be that surprising…" He said nonchalantly.

"You're an adventurer?! How old are you anyway!" Tessia shouted. She was in utter disbelief! He looked no older than her sister but yet he was a mage?

"I don't believe you! Show us some magic!" Tessia demanded, still in her fit of disbelief and deniance. Sin chuckled before spinning around.

"Kay, well look closely." Holding out his palm, Sin smiled as a pure black flame appeared in his hand. Crackling loudly.

However, this flame was hotter than he expected. The bark on the trees nearby begun to seer and catch on fire, or just straight melt. The grass beneath didn't even burn, it just turned to ash.

Wysteria and Tessia jumped back in surprise.

'Flames this hot exists!?' Wysteria cried internally. Tessia was in awe more than fear, but she knew better than to get closer to that flame… It felt like she didn't even need to be set on fire for her to melt into nothing but flesh and blood.

Canceling the flame, Sin continued on his way.

"See? Believe me now? Anyways, Wysteria, how old are you?" Startled by the sudden question, Wysteria stutters a little as her eyes widened.

"Ah? Oh! I-I'm 15… Wait! Don't change the subject! What the heck was that flame!" She shouted, Tessia nodded in agreement with her question, however Sin stopped in his tracks.

"You're 15 but don't have a mana core… What's that about?"

Wysteria froze solid.

"H-How did you-"

"How did I know? Well, with these of course." Sin interrupted, his eyes changing to the blood red Sharingan. Seeing those same blood red eyes that peered at them through death frightened them. But seeing them up close filled them with an indescribable fear. It was like he could see through them… Any part of them.

It felt like he knew their secrets with just a glance.

"W-What… What are those eyes…" Wysteria muttered.

Sin chuckled before deactivating them. Scaring these two felt like a reward to be honest… Seeing them freeze in fear but be overwhelmed with curiosity made him feel funny.

Placing a finger to his mouth in a shushing motion, he spoke:

"You have your secrets... And I have mine."
