(Osiris.)

After Tessia's little scare, I packed up the tent and started to follow Tessia once more. During the time I followed her she started talking to me a lot more, letting me know that she was starting to warm up to me, she talked about her life with her family and what she did in her free time, she mentioned a couple of times that she didn't have a lot of friends for some reason but she wouldn't tell me.

I of course already knew since I remember this much of the story.

But I didn't mention the fact I knew she was a princess because I wanted her to be the one to tell me. She asked me a couple of questions most of them were about what I did before I saved her, and why I was even in the forest, to begin with.

I just told her that I was alone since I last remembered, I lied telling her that my parents left me here in the forest and abandoned me, leaving me to die. But I didn't and continued to live my life in the wilderness.

Her eyes teared up when she heard that and we didn't speak for an hour or so, I started feeling bad since I don't actually know anything about my parents or where this body even came from, but hey! Sometimes lying is the correct option!

"Oz! What are you doing? Come on! This place looks familiar!" She shouted, stunning me out of my thoughts.

I nodded and followed after her as she ran from tree to tree, she ran mana through her hand and a green rune lit up on the bark, she did this multiple times on multiple different trees. My eyes widened in surprise as I felt something weird running through my body when she ran mana through her arms.

'What was that? I thought I can't feel mana because I didn't roll it?' I stood in place as I thought about the different possibilities of what I just felt, but that was cut short when Tess ran up to me and grabbed my hand to pull me along.

"Come on! We're here!" I just smiled and let her pull me, she was extremely elated at the thought of being home, and I was kind of excited as well, I wanted to see this Oh so great Elven kingdom that I read about in the book.

She pulled me until we arrived in front of a giant stone wall, I was about to speak but the area around us suddenly lit up with a bright green light and we were sucked in.

WOOSH!

'Oh god damn this feels weird!' I cried internally as I closed my eyes and braced myself for upcoming movement.

CRASH!

"Agh could've told me that it would feel so weird..." I muttered as I opened my eyes and stood up, my eyes widened in awe as I looked around the beautiful and pristine kingdom, the regular shops were made out of dark oak wood that made it stand out even more in contrast to the white and perfect grey colored stones. The palace was dead ahead although it was really far, I could still see and make out what it looked like.

It was white and green along with some gold, calling it beautiful would be a down statement of the actual look it has.

I felt something grip my hand causing me to look down at Tess, she was smiling with tears in the corner of her eyes.

"Hey, Te-"

(Taking stuff from the Web-Comic.)

FWOOSH!

"We welcome back the Royal Princess!" 10 elven guards appeared in front of us using what I guess is wind mana, when I heard what they said I feigned ignorance as I looked at Tess with a lost expression.

"Princess...?" Tess smiled at me apologetically, I didn't say anything I just closed my mouth and nodded absentmindedly.

"Princess, we arrived as soon as we noticed the royal teleportation gate had been used. The king and Queen are--" The guard in front was cut off as a pristine white carriage pulled up behind them, a silver-haired elven lady and man alike ran bolted out of the carriage as soon as it stopped and the woman shouted.

"My baby Tessia, you're okay!"

Tessia squeezed my hand tighter, I glanced at her and saw she was on the verge of crying. I let go of her hand and nudged her forward, she looked back at me in confusion before smiling and bolting into the arms of her mother.

I let them have their moment while I looked around and scanned the area, I was still amazed at how beautiful and pristine this place is, it honestly feels like it should be a painting.

"Who's that?"

"A human boy? But look at that mark..."

"Do you think it's a brand? Humans are known for doing cruel things to each other."

I heard the different civilian elves mutter something about me while looking at me, most of them were covering their mouths while whispering with each other while others just spoke out loud enough for me to hear.

I didn't mind it since humans aren't usually allowed in here, but seeing me come in with Tessia probably threw them off a bit.

I smiled wryly as I listened to the random and absurd things the elves were saying, but my attention was soon drawn towards a middle-aged elf with bags under his eyes. He had grey short hair and wore a crown-like thing on his forehead, he dressed in a white formal robe that contrasted with his emerald eyes.

"Thank you, child. Not just as the King of Elenoir, but as this little one's father. As a small gesture of gratitude for bringing Tessia home safely, please accompany us to our home. There you can rest and tell us all that happened." Alduin Eralith stated as he gazed at me with a serious gaze.

'Woah, I feel like that wasn't an inventation...'

"Of course," I said with a slight nod of my head, my actions got me a round of displeased grunts and mutter from the surrounding elves.

'Oops, I'm not good with formal stuff...' I thought while rubbing my head with a wry smile. Tessia ran up to me and grabbed my arm as she dragged me away towards the palace, much to everyone's surprise.

Gasps and whispers were heard from the group of elves, the royal family's eyes widened while the old man elf, and if I'm not wrong his name is Virion or something like that, had his hands behind his back as he studied me with widened eyes.

"Come on! Let's go Oz!" Tessia exclaimed as she pulled me along with her.

"Alright alright, you know I can walk there myself, right? You don't need to hold my hand." I said with a small smile. She turned to look at my smile before she quickly looked ahead of her, I noticed her ears were a bit red, most likely from embarrassment, because she let go of my hand not too long after.

"I-I was just making sure you didn't get lost, no other reasons!" She shouted while walking away faster.

I shook my head with a chuckle before jogging to catch up with her.

It took us a lot longer than it should've for us to reach the palace, as Tess wanted to show me some things before we got there, but when we finally did I was even more astonished at the inside of the castle.

At the entrance, there was a long red carpet that led to a big set of double doors, and on both sides of those doors was a set of stairs that curved and led to the second floor. On the roof was a giant golden chandelier that lit up the entire entrance room.

'This is even better than the view from outside!' I inwardly shouted, my thoughts were interrupted as girlish giggles made their way into my ears.

"What? I've never seen something so pleasing to the eyes before." I said while looking her in the eyes, she stared back while covering her mouth to hide her giggles.

"Yeah, but if you leave your mouth that wide bugs will fly in." She stated, I just shook my head with a small laugh.

As we got further in I was met with 2 lines of maids on each side of the red carpet, they were bowing towards Tessia, and the royal family behind me.

"This child is our guest, please give him a room and bathe him," Merial told the maids, I didn't stop her either. An old elf came up to me and led me up the stairs and into a hallway, he didn't speak to me so I didn't bother speaking to him either. We just walked in silence and we made it to a room, he opened the door and laid out some clothes for me before walking out of the room and closing it.

"Haaah, I can't wait to take a hot shower. I hope I can actually feel it though." I said to myself, my eyebrows furrowed at the thought of not being able to enjoy hot water, I know that cold temperature won't affect me at all but I hope it's not the same with hotter temperatures.

The bathing area was huge and so was the showers, the walls were at least 10 feet apart and there were even tiny chairs in the bath so you could sit and soak.

Not wasting any time I quickly undressed and jumped in the shower, once the hot water hit my body, a steaming noise filled the room.

Steam was starting to emit from my body most likely because of how cold my regular body temperature is.

'I didn't know I was this cold... Why didn't anyone tell me?' I internally mused with a small frown, deciding to think about that issue later, I enjoyed my bath before getting out and putting on my pants, I looked in the mirror and noticed that my body was already in shape, like the best shape for a 6-year-old, so it wasn't like some swimmer body but it was just enough to have some noticeable outlines of muscles.

'Neat, so I really don't have to work out huh...' I smiled thinking this, I slid on my grey long sleeve before shaking my hair to fling out water, once I was done I made my way to the door in my room and opened it I was immediately greeted by the same old elf.

"Follow me please, the royal family is waiting for you." He said while walking away, I didn't say anything and just followed, taking in the sights of the castle. It didn't take long for us to reach the main room that the royal family was waiting in.

The butler led me to a big door before bowing and excusing himself, I took in a deep breath before opening the door, King Alduin was sitting at the head of the table with Merial on his right and Virion standing off to the side, Virion eyed me as I made my way to the chair in front of me. Tess was sitting in her mom's lap as she let her mother play with her hair.

'I should just start by introducing myself right?' I mentally questioned, letting out a small sigh, I went to speak.

"First of all, my name is-"

"Yes, we already know your name Osiris, Tessia here has told us all about your... Adventure." Alduin spoke, his voice held importance, hearing what he said I shot a glance to Tess and saw she just had a smile while rubbing the back of her head.

"Oh, I kind of wanted to tell you myself, but that's fine too. I'm guessing you want to know what I did to the people who kidnapped her?" I asked him, Alduin didn't respond immediately, he kept his gaze on me as he squinted his eyes.

"And how did you save her? If what Tessia said was true, then you would've been up against 3 mages... Grown mages not to mention." Hearing what he said caused me to freeze for a small second before I let out a sigh.

I placed my right hand on the table and froze it.

I gazed at the people's reactions and was pleasantly elated.

'Haha, showing off feels pretty good.'

"I used ice, your Majesty." I said in a matter of factly tone. I didn't get a response back as everyone was still gobsmacked at what they saw, Virion's mouth was damn near falling off while Alduin and Meralith's expressions were of complete shock, unmoving.

"Ahem!" I coughed into my hand to get their attention and it was successful. Virion placed his hand on his face as he started mumbling something about not sensing any mana, I don't really know since I don't have super hearing.

"A-ah yes, I didn't know you were a mage at such a young age, not to mention a deviant," Alduin said with a shaky voice.

"He's not a mage Alduin, he doesn't even have a mana core yet." Virion commented, this drew confusion and stunned from everyone in the room, Tess on the other hand didn't really know what was going on, she was still smiling happily in her mother's lap.

"W-what do you mean he's not a mage? He's quite clearly a mage, he just used ice deviance!" Alduin shouted, Virion shook his head slowly as he placed his hand on the table, his face morphed to shock once again when he saw how the table broke to pieces from just the weight of his hand.

"I-incredible! This brat's ice ability is already this strong!" Virions shouted, Alduin and Merial's faces distorted in shock, seeing a stone table break into pieces like it was... well glass, shook them.

"H-how is this possible!? You said he isn't a mage right? Is it possible he's at white stage?" A voice from the corner of the room entered everyone's ears, I turned my head and saw that it was a guard who was holding a spear that spoke.

"Brat how about you become my disciple? And what's up with that black mark on your face?" Virion question, getting surprised looks from everyone in the room. They didn't seem to focus too much on the fact that I had a black mark on my face which was pretty nice.

"Eh? I don't know, I was born with it. It grew as I got older, so now it stops at my cheek." I replied with no formalities, this caused some grunts of annoyance from the guards who weren't frozen from shock.

"And, I guess I could be your disciple since I don't know how to use a sword or things like that..." I said with an unsure tone.

(I already know there will be people who will complain about this, saying "Oh he's just following Arthurs footsteps!" Yeah, only in the beginning and that's because Tess is the love interest.)

Virion smiled before walking up to me and patting my shoulder.

"Good choice brat, come to the backyard tomorrow morning, Tessia will wake you up. Don't be late on your first day of training." He turned his back to walk off, seeing this I shouted.

"Wait! Aren't humans not allowed in the kingdom? Won't I be forced out of here?" I questioned, Alduin seemed to have snapped out of his daze as he stood up abruptly.

"He's right father! Humans aren't welcomed here, how will the civilians react if news spreads about him staying!" He tried to reason with Virion but got shut down.

"He's my disciple now, no one can force him to leave! If they have an issue with it then they can come talk to me about it! Now drop this matter and dismiss the meeting already, these two must be tired from the journey let them rest." He strutted away towards the door, leaving a frantic Alduin standing alone.

'Ah, I kinda forgot about his status here...' I mused inwardly, I stood up as well and stretched before walking out of the room leaving the rest of the family behind.

'What weapon should I use? I mean I can conjure one so I shouldn't need to have one made, should I just try all the ones I know and hope that one is to my liking?' My head started steaming from all the thoughts and decisions I had to make before tomorrow, I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize that I was in front of my room already.

"Whatever, I'll decide tomorrow." I said out loud, opening the door I jumped unto the bed and let out a heavy sigh.

"Ah~ This bed is so comfortable!" I exclaimed, thinking of all that happened the past few days, a smile formed on my face as I drifted to sleep.

2.8k words.

Yes, he will be staying in the elven kingdom even after Arthur leaves. Tessia is the love interest so I'll have Arthur get with someone else... Maybe...

The next chapter will be a training chapter, and it will be shorter than the rest of the chapters I wrote.

For you who complain about how Osiris became Virions disciple, be quiet, my MC wasn't a warrior or a king in his life on earth as you already know, and he wasn't an assassin either, so he has to start somewhere, why would he pass up an opportunity to learn how to wield a sword? Or a weapon of his liking. Comment what you think his main weapon should be btw.
