Instruments

Demolus was relaxing with everyone else at home, but suddenly his phone started ringing. He looked at his phone to see that it was Smith, he smiled, thinking that she had exchanged all the gold for him.

"Demolus, I have some good news for you!"

"Did you exchange the gold?"

".....Yes….anyway, tomorrow there's going to be a school festival, and there are going to be guest singers and dancers for the festival. You asked me if there was a place that you could sing, so why not try this out, I already wrote your name down and everything!" Smith said full of enthusiasm.

"A school festival, huh?"

"Yes, there will be a girl group by the name of ANM48, They are the most popular monster girl group there is, so you can make some connections in the music industry if you want, that is."

"That's good, but where's the school located?" Demolus asked.

"I'll send you the address, so you could look into it. By the way, the house you wanted to be built will take a while. And where did you get these blueprints? I have never seen a house or a mansion of such size before?"

"It's a secret, so will the M.O.N squad come to see me sing then?"

"Can't say, I'll ask if they want to go, and if there are no emergencies, they should be able to go."

"And what about you, will you be going to this school festival?"

"Of course! I have to make sure that all of the participants and spectators are in check, and don't make trouble!"

"You just want to have fun, and ditch your work, don't you?

"....No….why would you think that?" Smith made a big pause before speaking.

"Anyway, I'll send you the details, and go to sleep...I mean, I will be going back to work!" She said while making a pause once again.

"Alright, I will see you later then, bye-bye!" She said before ending the call.

Now Demolus needed to go and buy himself some instruments, after all, it's better to prepare in advance, and he had to pick a song he was going to sing. He looked at the time and decided to go out and look for a musical instrument shop.

Demolus stood up, but before he could move Papi jumped on his back and smiled while Suu followed suit. Now Demolus was standing with Papi clinging to his back and Suu onto his front.

"Where are you going?" Papi asked while Suu looked at him with her big round eyes.

"Sigh….I'm going out to buy some musical instruments, do you guys want to go with me? He asked the girls while smiling. He knew that this was going to be a long day, if he brought them with him, but why not.

"Papi wants to go! And Suu too!" Papi declared while hugging his neck with her blue feathered wings.

"Alright let's go but, you must promise me, to stay by my side while we're ousted, alright?" He asked the two of them with a stern expression.

"Papi will promise!" The harpy said while shouting happily, Suu just nodded.

Soon the three of them were walking, while holding hands. Demolus had to make sure the two of them don't make trouble, after all, that would just be troublesome to deal with right now. He was surprised that the girls were walking calmly while holding his hands, he was thinking that maybe they started understanding society a bit, but he was wrong.

The girls were walking calmly because they were holding his hands. After all, his aura just made them calm down and feel nice while walking with him. They felt like never letting go of his hand, this was actually happening, just after he returned from his task in the Rosario to vampire world.

It was because of his aura of protection that he had obtained not that long ago. He didn't know that it was so effective that it would even calm down the two trouble makers. While he was thinking about what song to sing at the festival, the girls were smiling happily.

After walking a bit more, they found a store that sold musical instruments. Demolus walked in with the girls and started looking around. After thinking for a moment, a clerk showed up and asked if he could help.

"Hello, If you need any assistance, you could ask me, and will do my best to find a perfect instrument for you!" An excited young clerk asked.

"Oh, good, you can help by packing up every single type of instrument for me! Demolus said while smiling.

"Yes!" The clerk, said and went to go pack. He didn't know why, but he felt like this man was dangerous even though he was handsome.

"What's that!" Papi asked While looking at a multi-neck guitar. Demolus didn't mind explaining, and, so he explained to Papi and Suu, about different instruments, and their uses.

After twenty minutes, the clerk was done packing, and informed the red-haired man, who was in the store with two monster girls with him. After paying for the instruments, Demolus just dumped all of them in his inventory and exited the store, while the clerk had an expression of disbelief. The clerk didn't know if to believe his eyes anymore, he was just left standing there while his eyes and mouth were opened wide.
