Chapter Nineteen

DAMIAN'S P.O.V.

Since I was less busy in the afternoon, I squeeze in the opportunity to chat with her----I mean to say the lady---Alicia----I spoke with earlier on the phone.

I have come to realise so many things about her as if we've known for years. She seem quite oblivious, generous, shy, interactive, friendly, brilliant and well educated from my point of view.

Moreover, I discovered that she is basically not an earthly person, or too materialistic. In other words, Alicia is a kinda devoted christain religionist.

Every now and then, she usually brings in things about the word of God into our discussion.

And as you all know me, am not really in that biblical league.

Maybe I am, maybe am not, because I can't really figure out the last time I stepped into church or took the last holy communion.

I think I was five then or seven when that last happened.

Oops! That's decades ago.

She seem quite interesting to me as we talk for hours. It was almost evening when we had the last audio call of the day.

Above all, this anonymous girl whom doesn't seem strange to me is a real comedian.

Like she is very funny.

I don't usually enjoys ladies talks, but this one got every hold of me with every little inch of her words.

She also gave me flashbacks of things in the old and new testaments. Of which I don't remember the last time I glance into my bible.

She gave me some spiritual verses to revise later and pray on. She is really amazing and am becoming to like her.

I talked with mom and dad in a video chat after dinner at the patio---and mom never stopped complaining about my statue as getting muscular day by day. She never approved my going to the gym occassionally and she recommended some food for nutrional value---according to her that might make me thin.

I don't want to hear that.

I wanted to raise the topic about my encounter with the sweet damsel to dad immediately mom left us---man to man alone but then I remember that dad is very faithful to mommy, he doesn't mind escalating every details of my words to mom and she will start becoming curious.

I couldn't wait for dad to hang up so I can glance through my chats with Alicia. The urge of reading every word of it like a novel, flip through my veins. Especially the part where she sent an audio voice note of her singing 'Lead me to the cross.' by 'Brooke Fraser.'

Heavenly, good lord. That voice was so melodious from A-Z. It captivated my heart in a goal and I played it countless times nonstop till the nightime when my battery was going to give up and die.

I have never listened to a devotional song like this before, infact, I don't like listening to song like this but what am I doing now?

She got me entangled in this particular track. I had to shazam it, download the original version and make use of it as my ringing tone.

Am down to meet this woman. I think I would like to know her more like Jesus.
