Chapter 12

With Liam who doesn't sleep sleep easily,he always work like a machine who works at the time he is expected to and sleep only for few minutes.The next day,when he went to work,he went to the gaming department to check whether Mia has come or not and to his surprised she was creating a design.She looks very serious and he was impressed,she was just keeping herself busy.

He didn't know how long he has been standing there watching her till she finally called out his name and he came back to reality.He walked up to her and said greeted her.

"Good morning,little girlfriend"she was first stupefied because she didn't expect him to react with the deal like this and she smiled back at him and replied;

"Morning,my handsome devil god".Now it was now Liam turn to be stupefied by the name given to him by her.He was about to say something when Lincoln came inside with his eyes big with surprise for seeing the great Liam Qin in the gaming department,when Liam saw his reaction,he asked;

"what's with that face"After hearing his voice,he felt cold shivers down his spine,he quickly answered"nothing,I ... ".He wasn't able I finish his statement when Liam walked out of the door then Lincoln left out a long sigh and went to his computer after greeting Mia trying to pretend he didn't see anything but those questions in his eyes wasn't left unnoticed by her.Each teammates came and started doing their own design till afternoon it was finally time for them to get to lunch,they finished their design and was going to the cafeteria when Liam met them on the way.

He was jealous when he saw Lincoln and his little girlfriend chatting and laughing together,so he joined them which also surprised Lincoln and her other teammates but none said a word.When they were at the cafeteria,they ordered their food and has the CEO the workers in the cafeteria wanted to give him their best food when he stopped them and asked Mia what she ordered and she told him then he ordered the same.

Mia was extremely shy that her face was all red,Lincoln and everyone there were stunned and they were looking at him while Liam didn't take notice if the people who were looking at him.They were served their food and they chatted happily except from one man who wasn't use to talking to people regretted his actions of joining them.The day was going smoothly and the more hours clocked it was becoming scarious for Mia because at the day she will be at her handsome devil god home.It was finally time for them to leave the office when Liam voluntarily helped her to pick her things.

On their ride to Mia's place the silence spread around the car with each person lost in their thoughts.The car finally came to an halt in front of her house but she didn't notice so she was still in the car When Liam waited for her to come down but there was no sign of she going down anytime soon,he finally spoke "have you already change your mind or are you scared"when she heard those words she wanted to retaliate then looked at him and ignored him she really didn't want to waste her time on him like this.She went inside packed her things into the boot of the car then cane back to the passenger seat.As soon as she closed the door of the car,he sped off to his house.

After a while,his car halted in front of a house,no,mansion,no it looks more like a castle.when she saw the mansion,she was gazed by its appearance,he saw her reaction and wondered if she has seen things like this.He went down and headed towards her door and then helped her out of the car.They went inside and was invited by a Butler who escorted them in.She was still too fazed by the outside of his house but getting inside she felt like exploding.It was big and decorated with fine work of art,painted white with a chandelier on the center of the sitting room.

It was made out if white marble tiles and decorated chairs,it was fabulous beyond description and there was also an elevator the house because the stairs were grand.It was beyond her imagination she only sees houses like this on films so she tried to picture everything in her brain.But the house was exuding a cold and lonely aura that reminded her of Liam,she felt a strong grip on her wrist taking her upstairs.She knew it was Liam,she has learnt a lot about him even though it has not been long they been together,she followed obediently when he took her to a room.

As fascinating as the house,the room was no difference.It was painted in a unisex colour showing maturity and sensitiveness.

"you will be staying in this room as long as you are staying here"he said hestantly,before she could even say anything he walked out leaving her behind.

"Aargh,that man"she could only curse
