Her grip on my arm loosened slightly as shock registered on her face.
"What did you say?" she turned and demanded, her voice a mixture of anger and disbelief "What did you just say Brooke did?"
"I thought you were besties," I teased "And I honestly thought that someone might have mentioned it to you or something but seems no one has, then I guess it's not important,".
Her eyes narrowed with fury as she landed a slap on my cheeks and seized my neck "You'll tell me what exactly Brooke did or I'll harm the baby. You don't know me, Selene… I am not like all the people you've met who go easy on you, I'll fuck you up if you don't tell me what I need to know right now,".
