She didn't wait for the goddess to come up with another lie. "You are afraid your lives will be in danger."She guessed. "Although, it makes one wonder why deities' lives are always at a risk. Did you do anything wrong? It feels as though fate is chasing you down for retruibution and you try to pin it on demons every time."
"What nonsense's gotten into your head? My son cares a lot about you and I don't want you dead or he'd be sad. That's all." Kyrah gave the same reason she had given over and over, which she was insane to think was still believable.
