Chapter 105: Qi is Hospitalized

Yucheng was staying in Room 1226 of Building 1 at Saint Mary Hospital.

Shadow stood outside the ward, looking in. Yucheng lay on the hospital bed motionless, and there was no one caring for him in the room.

Jiang Yadan had spoken with the doctor in the office about continuing treatment. Originally, she had asked Yuke to stay in the ward and take care of her father, but she had slipped back home to look through the household registry.

This was a perfect opportunity, for Yuke wanted to quickly get to the civil affairs office with Sheng Yukai to register their marriage while her father was not at home, as it would become impossible once he woke up.

Jian Yining said to Shadow, "You go in and have a look. It's fine, no one will recognize you in that outfit."

He had found a white nurse's coat for Shadow, and with Yuke gone, Jiang Yadan couldn't recognize her.

"I'm afraid Dad might recognize me," Shadow said and felt like crying.
