Taming The Ruthless Alpha Ceo

Agatha Martinez was forced to take a job she never expected to get after her mother became seriously ill and her father became deeply in debt. She became a stripper, dancing naked on stage for money to get her mother treated and pay off her father's debt, until she crossed paths with Zeus Gabriel Smith, the CEO of the Smith corporation and the alpha of the moonlight pack, who offered Agatha to be his wife in exchange for a lot of money and a luxurious life. Agatha quickly accepted despite not knowing the young man's motivation because money was more important to her, but little did she know Zeus would only use her to prevent his marriage to a woman who was not destined for him, and his pack would not dare to leave him. Zeus provided everything she wanted, despite the fact that it was difficult for her to pretend to be the young man's wife due to the threat she was receiving from Zeus' father. Until one day, Agatha discovered the young man's best-kept secret when she went to Zeus' office and discovered his hidden identity, but instead of being terrified and fleeing for her life. Agatha felt a strange sensation in her chest, as if something was pursuing her to tame this ferocious beast. Agatha had a real reason to stay in Zeus' life after discovering his hidden identity that same night, not to be the young man's wife or for his money, but to tame the cold-hearted and ruthless alpha of the moonlight pack. What if Agatha was the woman chosen by the moon goddess for him? Will Agatha be able to subdue the ruthless alpha? But what if Zeus finally gave up and was willing to open his heart once more? Is this the start of his transformation from ruthless to soft-hearted?

New companion

Dumbfounded, Zeus was quietly sitting in his chair and thinking deeper about what had happened. He didn't expect the alpha king to come over and fetch his daughter, but the more he was surprised when he slapped Adeline in front of him.

He took a deep breath before turning around his swivel chair and almost killing the person standing in front of him. He looks sharply at Jacob, who is currently scratching his head because maybe he already knew what he did.

"Why are you popping up like a mushroom? I'm wondering what's into you these days."

Jacob laughed nervously, "Did I surprise you?"

He furrowed, "No. But it makes me want to kill you."

"Don't joke like that. You know I didn't mean to shock you."

"Well, I didn't mean to kill you either."

Jacob sighed before sitting on the chair opposite him, "What happened?"

"I don't want to interrupt your deep thoughts, but I can sense something is bothering you. Is that about Adeline?" He continues.

"No, and stop asking me about her."

He stood up from sitting on the swivel chair and fixed his suit before starting his steps closer to the door. He ignores Jacob's gaze and passes him by, but before he almost touches the doorknob, Jacob speaks.

"You can't hide those feelings, Zeus, I'm telling you. You can't keep that secret because no matter what you do, they'll find out that Agatha wasn't your real mate."

He's not surprised by what Jacob said because he was one of Zeus's trusted pack members, and he can't hide it from him for so long. Zeus smirked in his thought and put his hands into his pockets before facing Jacob.

"I'm not surprised how you found out about that, but I'm telling you, Jacob, I trusted you more than anyone, and I'm counting on you."

"I may hide it, but there is someone who will be able to ruin you're bound to our packs," Jacob uttered, "I'm afraid that day will come so soon."

He smiles fakely, "Everything is gonna be alright, Jacob, trust me."

"I want to, but I can't because the way I try to keep it hidden from our pack is a hard job for me, I am your beta, and we have been friends since childhood. I am just concerned that someday they will know about this."

He sighed because he could sense the concern in Jacob's voice, "Don't you trust me?"

"I do trust you, but—" Jacob sighed deeply.

"If you trust me. Then, you wouldn't be concerned that much. We both know why I did it the way you find out that Agatha wasn't my real mate, and I'm just using her so they wouldn't leave me."

"I can handle this, Jacob. I wouldn't be called an alpha if I can't handle things like this, I was born to this, and I have to face the consequences for being an alpha."

After saying those words, he immediately left the room and left Jacob behind, he wanted to explain everything to his friend, but he knew Jacob wouldn't understand why he did it.

Except for the fact they will leave him alone, Zeus was afraid that someday one of them use that chance to betray him and join Maverick with his plans.

He entered the first elevator he saw and clicked the ground floor button. His mind was occupied, but he knew who the person could relieve his mind from all of these problems.

"Agatha..." He murmured.

[FAST FORWARD]

Zeus got out of his car and faced the medium-sized building before him. He put his car keys inside his pocket before starting his step inside the hospital building.

He continues walking. Anyone can see how respectful and dominant he is; that's why they're so amazed to see him walking inside the small hospital. But Zeus ignored those gazes that people's throwing at him because he didn't come here to consider their amazed looks; he was here to visit the girl who could make his day better.

He stopped in a room where Agatha was located before grabbing the doorknob and opening it, but he was exposed to a sleeping Agatha. Zeus smiled as he saw how she was sleeping deeply. He came inside without making any noise so he wouldn't wake up Agatha from her deep sleep.

He sat down on a chair that faced Agatha and looked at her. Seeing her beautiful and calming face made his feelings better. Zeus removed the hair that covered Agatha's beautiful face and smiled as he could see it better. He chuckled softly as the young lady moved a little bit.

"I didn't know you were beautiful when asleep," He said.

"Seeing you today made my day better. Maybe you were the medicine I needed for my entire life," He uttered, "I wonder if you were my real mate."

He sighed, "I did a horrible thing today, but I did it on purpose, and it's bothering me so much."

Zeus looks at her as if Agatha can hear what he's saying, and she's going to answer. He laughs at himself for being a sad boy.

"Do you think I overdid it?" He asked her, "Do you think I'm selfish?"

"I wish you were my mate, but I know you weren't."

Suddenly, Agatha slowly opened her eyes and was surprised to see Zeus in front of her. She didn't expect him to come since the young man had become busy these past few days, she smiled at Zeus, and she got up from her bed and sat down.

"I didn't know you were coming. Have you been there before?" She asked.

"I just arrived. How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, and the doctor said I can go home tomorrow," she replied.

She noticed Zeus' sudden silence, which surprised her. From the looks of it, the young man already knew that Agatha already knew that Zeus had a problem.

"Do you have a problem?"

Zeus did not answer but remained silent, making Agatha even more worried about him. But the young lady doesn't want to interfere in his life, especially since she knows her limits. Even if she wants to know what's bothering Zeus' mind, it's not possible because she doesn't have the right to know that.

"I won't force you anymore, but if you need someone to talk to, I'm just here." She said and held Zeus' hand.

Zeus looked at her hand because he didn't expect what the young lady did, but instead of removing Agatha's hand from his hand, he let the young lady do it.

"Are you willing to listen even if I did that because of my selfishness?" He suddenly asked.

"Yes, I'm willing to listen no matter how indecent you have done."

Agatha smiled, "Would you like to go out first and get some air

He chuckled, "All right."

Zeus helped Agatha get up from sitting on the bed and hold her pole where the dextrose was. He also supports the young lady in walking until they reach the door. Agatha opened it, and they went out the door together. She hadn't seen the sun for a few days, so that's why this day was perfect for breathing fresh air outside.

When they finally reach outside of the building, Zeus supports her in the empty chair they saw in front of them. He even sat down beside Agatha and waited for their conversation to start.

"So, what is bothering you?" Agatha started the conversation.

He took a deep breath before opening his mouth and said, "Nothing's bothering me. I'm just wondering if I made a wrong move. You see, Adeline came to me, and she told me what she's been trying to say since then."

"About what?"

"Her father hurt Adeline, and I thought it's because of me," He sighed and looked at Agatha, "I can feel it's my fault she's hurt."

Agatha can feel the sorrow in the young man's voice, and this is the first time she saw that sorrowness. She taps Zeus's shoulders and smiles at him to show him everything is alright.

"You did nothing, Zeus, even though I didn't know the real story, but I know you did that for a good reason, so you don't have to worry."

"I'm not worried—I will never be."

She touches Zeus's hands and squeezes them gently, "Even if you have a bad attitude and you are ruthless, I know deep inside your heart you are kind."

After releasing those words, Agatha hugged him without a doubt because she knew it was the only thing she could do for the young man since she couldn't interfere with his life. But she was surprised when Zeus responded to her hug, causing her to blush and hide her wide smile.

However, Zeus feels a little bit of emptiness inside him because, after all, the young lady gave him the peace he wanted, and he's thanking her for doing that. Maybe, Agatha was the person he needed in his life, and now he had found his new companion. The person will stay by his side no matter what it takes.
