Ariel eyes fluttered open as she struggled to adjust to the ray of sunlights reflecting into wherever she is, before she could stand up to shut the curtain, she felt a big sturdy arm hold her back supporting her up gently.
"You are awake." He said with his voice filled with relief while Ariel hummed in response not understanding what is going on, this place didn't look like her room in the mansion, the painting on the walls were plain white one would think you about to cross the of Living if the sun reflected on it.
"Where am i and Is Anna okay?" Ariel asked holding her head suddenly remembering someone had tried to take Anna away from her and ran into a desolate part of the court after that, her memory was still a bit hazy.
"Anna is fine." Vincent answered kissing the back of her hand which had a drip connected to it, his hands grazed over the bandaged part, feeling an ache in his heart as the hard texture of the bandage brushed his thumb.
