A Time At The Creek

They walked into their tent and Kain collapsed on the bed set out for him while Esmeralda stood at a corner of the room looking at him.

"Well, aren't you going to lie down?" Kain asked patting the bed beside him.

"Well, I did not realize that you were still going to be as persistent as ever." Esmeralda said and walked up to the bed. She sat down and looked at him.

"Well, not being in a relationship doesn't mean we are no longer friends anymore. I am pretty sure that we are still friends." He said in a grumble.

"Are you really sure?" she asked and chuckled then she kicked off her shoes and laid down on the bed beside him. "Well, move to the extreme left would you?" she grumbled.

"And fall off? I don't think so." He said and smirked then he moved closer to her intending to annoy her but she shook her head and then sat up. "What is wrong? Is it because of me? Okay, I'll shift for you." Kain said as soon as she sat up.
