Chapter64 Showing Off

Their love for each other raised the temperature in the ward.

Edmund let go of Adeline before he felt breathless. He tidied up her hair and said in a hoarse voice, "Now sleep."

Adeline looked at him in a daze, and her eyes dimmed instantly.

"Ah, okay."

"Disappointed?" Edmund chuckled. "You haven't recovered yet..."

Adeline blushed and she subconsciously pulled up the quilt to cover her face. She must be crazy to think of making love with Edmund here in hospital. 

Not to mention that her body had not fully recovered, this place was not suitable at all.

She was really embarrassed.

Seeing this, Edmund chuckled, "I am very happy though."

Hearing this, Adeline felt happy as well. 

That night, she slept soundly as if she was a child who was sleeping beside her mother. The sense of security made her forget all her worries.

The next day, when Adeline woke up, Edmund was still asleep.
