Chapter61 Don't Leave Me

Edmund's lips brushed hers, delicately and softly. He was overjoyed for getting her back. 

Adeline's heart skipped a beat. She passionately responded to his kiss.

Not until they couldn't breathe anymore did he stop kissing. "Don't leave me again." Edmund whispered.

But Adeline didn't know what his 'leave' meant. 

Just as she was to ask about that, the nurse came in. 

After the nurse left, Edmund said, "I'll be back later." Then he left. 

Adeline nodded. Still feeling headache, she soon fell asleep.

Outside the hospital, Justin was already waiting for Edmund. 

As soon as they got in the car, Justin said, "The preliminary result of the police investigation shows that the driver was fatigue driving this morning. And they are going to close the case soon."

Edmund narrowed his eyes. It was just how he had predicted. 

"Then what about our investigation?" He asked.
