Chapter47 It Was Really Horrible

Edmund didn't answer Brant. Just then, another phone call came in so he directly ended the call with Brant.

It was from Justin, who told him that the broken car had been sent for repair. "It's really horrible. Miss Hill was almost killed."

Hearing this, Edmund's face darkened, "There is one more thing."

After hanging up the phone, Edmund sat on the chair quietly for a while. Then he put out his cigarette and returned to his bedroom.

Adeline hadn't slept yet. She was now working on her laptop. 

Seeing this, Edmund frowned and directly took away the laptop.

"You should rest now." Edmund said.

"But I'm not sleepy yet." 

Then she continued: "Five more minutes, okay?" 

"No!" It was hard to change Edmund's mind.

"Well, I probably can't fell asleep tonight." She was dismayed. 

"Can't sleep?" Edmund narrowed his eyes, "Then let's do something else!"

"Hmm..." Before Adeline could protest, Edmund shut her month with a kiss.
