The Chairwoman's Visit
"Chairwoman Kang?!" Daniel shouted, honestly surprised to see his grandmother in his office. Sure it wasn't the first time that the old woman visited his workplace but he usually got informed beforehand, hence she took him by surprise this time.
"G-grandmother," Daniel stammered, getting up to his feet.
"Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" The chairwoman looked at him intensely and it almost seemed like she could see through him. So he quickly cleared his throat and composed himself.
"No, grandmother, I was just surprised by your unexpected visit, that's all." He said, making a beeline for the sofa in the middle of his office where Chairwoman Kang had already taken a seat.
He sat directly across from her and faced her saying, "What brings you here, grandmother?"
