Strange demons

A sharp pain shot up, jangled her nerves, and her spine felt like it was being ripped out which jerked her eyes open suddenly.

What came into view was a rough, moldy board and a black cotton pillow.

"She woke up!" Before she could look around, she heard a shout of excitement.

She looked at the sound and got startled for a moment. It was a creature more than she had ever known before appeared to her.

His whole body looked like a ten-year child's, but his skin was gray, and there was not a single hair on his head, but two spines on the left and right ends of his head, which were as big as fingers

His ears are big, one about a third the size of his head, particularly like two fans, and there were two flesh bumps on each side of his back.

He was holding a purple grass in his hand, which gave off a sweet fragrance, and he was standing near her at the mouth of the cave talking excitedly to another woman, who was all wrapped up in a black robe.

"Who are you?" Questioned in a delicate voice, she tried to sit up, but the weakness of her spine made it impossible to support her.

"Here they called me the old bad, she is Phyllis Morr, a weirdo!" The man winked at her as he spoke, "so don't piss her off!"

"You'd been badly hurt, and you'd just laid an egg, so it would have been going to take a long time to heal. Here's the purple herb I just picked to ease the pain." said the old bad, handing over the purple fruit. "By the way, what is your name? "

"I don't have a name" Her head was down and her voice was small.

"Tut-tut-tut, another sad little thing thrown in abyss Morr" The skin on her face was gray, too, said Phyllis, looking at her with interest.

"Abyss Morr is a sealed place. You can only come in, can't go out!" continued Phyllis.

"This place is shrouded in poisonous fog all year round, Look at our skin. It's gone from healthy to gray because of the toxic mist, all the weird shapes are due to mutations caused by the toxic fog." She grew increasingly agitated, her voice turned louder and her eyes began to turn red.

"Calm down, dear, let past be past!" said the old bad, patting on her back.

Phyllis took a deep breath and quickly, slowly, calmed down.

"You fell into the black river, which was where most of the Morr elements gathered. The Lynn body fell into the home of the enemy Morr element, and the Lynn element that had not been awakened in your body woke up under the stimulate of the Morr element. Both elements were fighting for your body, haha, it was just like an angel met a demon, ice met fire, normally, you would have exploded, but by chance, you ended up with dual body. You seemed to have great luck," said Phyllis and her eyes were full of interest in her dual body.

As if she had made a decision, she said, looking at Phyllis with the hope of caution in her eyes, "Can you help me choose a name? I don't want to be a nobody."

"Ha ha ha, funny, funny," she stared at her for a long, long time.

Just when she was ready to give up, Phyllis said, "Thena Morr."

"Your name is Thena Morr, you are gonna be my child!" said Phyllis Morr.

"Great, I have a name, my name is Thena Morr, and I'm not a nameless monster anymore, I have a family," she cried with tears of joy.

"How miserable it must be to live so long without a name" said the old bad, rubbing his eyes.

"Miserable, worse than that!" as Thena recalled the scenes where she was in palace of the Land of Beasts, enmity grew more in her eyes. Over there, those nobles had tortured her physically and mentally each day, as if she had been a dog, because of her self-healing body, she'd had to be tortured again day by day, they'd called her an unkillable monster and a despicable shit for almost 16 years since her mother had died. On her 16th birthday, the queen finally had robbed her golden egg, dug up her phoenix bone and thrown her into the abyss Morr where many demons had been believed to live, and where had been avoided.

Her self-healing constitution had been both the source of her pain and her chance to survive.

She was glad for that they had thrown her into abyss Morr, or she would not have met these two people who had been considered as demons but actually angels.

She cried and laughed and cried her name over and over again.

The enormous cave echoed with her cry, and her name echoed again and again in the cave.

She believed that fate had made her go through so many years of pain, perhaps in order to welcome the future happiness.

"Thank you, thank you so much, i love you, Phyllis" Thena was so appreciated that she tried to hug Phyllis.

"No, don't! Swallow the purple herbs first. You looked painful when the eggs were first laid," when the old bad put the purple herb in her mouth, it suddenly turned into a stream of heat running down her throat. There seemed to be a warm stream of heat running slowly through the blood vessels in her body. Her spine felt less painful than before.

"Thank you, the old bad," Thena gave him a grateful smile.

She was so grateful for the old bad.

"Laid an egg?" Thena was very confused, her phoenix bone was not dug out? Only with phoenix bone or animal bone can lay an egg!

The question lingered in her mind until the next day when she was well enough to find the answer.
