"Do you have any way to restore her energy?" Head Araw asked.
"I do have a way," Elder Lakandula ordered Haba to bring the little girl at the 3rd floor, 5th room. He faced the Head and said, "Head Araw, you may follow Haba and wait there for a moment. I will just get that thing."
Haba placed the unconscious girl in his arms.
Head Araw nodded. They followed Haba.
Reaching the 3rd floor, the 1st class students who also follow the Head felt a tranquility of their body. They felt like that their body were soak in a hot spring. These feelings were also felt by the 5th class students who tag along. Adasa who was lost in thought had calmed himself. The Head and Vice-heads didn't feel much for they have the higher purification level.
"Teacher, what is this place?" Can't take his curiosity anymore, Luwalhati asked.
"This is the Energy Healing floor. It will aid one by just stepping in. This floor is only effective to a guardian with purification level of 5th and below though," Vice-head Luna replied. "As you go higher, the concentration of Healing Energy gets denser. There were seven floors in total."
"The 'Energy Healing Floor' and the third floor at that!" Dino exclaimed.
They know about the place, but they haven't been here.
"Were here," Haba halted in front of a door. He let Adasa opened it for he was holding Tala in his arms.
The room was simple; green in all side. Only a bed and a table were inside.
Haba laid Tala on the bed. Exerting his energy on to the bed, it emitted a green light that enveloped Tala. Tala's body relaxed. It seemed like Haba had triggered a formation.
"That will make her condition stable temporarily," Haba explained.
Elder Lakandula entered the room with a box. He sat next to Tala and opened it. Inside was a green gemstone. He placed it above Tala's chest. It floats above her chest and emitted pure energy. The surroundings energy became denser.
The pure energy enveloped here and seemed like to sip in every pores on her body.
He again checked her pulse.
"It will restore her energy. Let's leave her here. If we remain, we will just a hindrance in her recuperation. Head Araw and everyone, this way." Said Elder Lakandula leading the group out of the room.
…
At the main hall, Elder Lakandula looked at sir Enix with a perplexed expression. "How can sir Enix walked out to the forbidden mountain?"
"It was because of this young man." Sir Enix gazed at Adasa.
"So, you are the chosen inheritor?" Elder Lakandula asked with twinkling eyes.
"Yes, he is!" Head Araw was the one who replied.
Even though Elder Lakandula wanted to ask more, it does not fit the situation.
"Everyone, have a sit. I'll explain her condition." Elder Lakandula looked at the Head who was sitting on the front seat. "Head Araw, Tala was already exhausted even before the competition begun." He then gazed at everyone and continued, "She used a technique called 'Superb Beguiling technique'. It is the surging of one's remaining energy outside the body leaving an emptiness inside. Doing so, one will look like full of energy."
"Is it the long lost beguiling technique?" Vice-head Bay asked.
"Yes, it is. How did this young girl know it?" Head Araw was puzzled.
"If she had not used much energy on her fight, she shouldn't be bedridden right now!" Elder Lakandula sighed.
"Actually, she's been using only one move to end up the fight," Isagani stated.
"What a clever girl. If she couldn't win in terms of strength, then she will use her agility. What a smart move," Head Araw remarked. It now dawned to him the reason why Tala's had been ending her fight in one strike.
"If that's the case, she shouldn't be in that state." Elder Lakandula stop talking as he felt the intense gazed of everyone towards Adasa. He asked, "What's wrong?"
"She's been using one move to end the match because she knew what would happen to her if she dragged it any longer, but why didn't she end it up like the other when she fought you Adasa?" Eya asked furiously. She felt that Adasa might knew the answer.
"Ah, I see!" Head Araw broke the intense gazes. "This little girl wanted to help Adasa to achieve a breakthrough. Unfortunately, she exerted too much."
"You're right Head Araw," Adasa confirmed his statement.
Eya didn't dwell on it any longer. 'If it is her decision, then there's nothing I can do.' She pouted.
"How did that young girl exhaust her energy in the first place?" Elder Lakandula asked. "Anyone, who has an idea?"
Everyone fell silent.
"Eya, do you know anything. You're the closest one to her." Sadam asked.
"I…I don't know?" Eya stutteringly said. 'Tala was really too mean. She now knew how to make a secret out of me, huh!'
Adasa felt guilty seeing Eya's depressed look. 'I don't know why Tala wanted it to be a secret, but if this information was of any help, then telling them was the right thing to do.' He inhaled a turbid of air and said, "I know the reason!"
Eyes gazed at him in unison.
"Then, what it is?" asked Head Araw.
"The reason of her exhaustion was me. She was the chosen inheritor of the holy blessed library. She shared with me the unique golden energy in order for me to have access to it. In doing so, she exhausted herself." Adasa explained. He needed not to explain further. 'If they learn what had guardian Bida said, that the life of the first inheritor will vanish in return for sharing or passing the unique golden energy, they will surely run into a panic.'
"Then, that means we have two inheritors?" Vice-head Cesa was puzzled.
"Yes, we have!" Head Araw said gleefully. Thinking of it now, Tala owed him an explanation. "Elder Lakandula, how many days will it take for Tala to recuperate?"
"She needed ten days to fully recuperate her energy." Elder Lakandula stated.
"Ten days?" The 5th class students exclaimed.
"Yes." Elder Lakandula assured.
"The portal will be open within 7 days. There's no other choice. You all need to choose another representative to descend to the human world." Vice-head Luna stated.
"I will. From the start, I was nominated." Adasa said eagerly.
"No, you're not. I will volunteer." Eya said with certainty.
"Tala had already risked a lot because of me. I can't let you do the same!" Adasa looked awfully to Eya.
"For your information, I'm not doing this because of you, but because of Tala. She wanted you to use the five years inside that PRISON MOUNTAIN, instead of roaming aimlessly on the human world. I will not let her plan go astray." Eya said furiously. 'This damn Adasa doesn't know how to use his brain.'
"_ " All
When did the Blessed mountain become a prison mountain?
"Eya, I don't know why Tala chose me, but-" before Adasa could finish his words, he heard Eya's hefty voice.
"I know why." Eya looked at Adasa fiercely. If not for the elders in front of them, she might grab Adasa's collar and punch his face until she calmed down. She said, "Tala knew things that even I don't understand. Certainly, he chose you because of your willful personality and your thirst for knowledge.
"You blame yourself for Tala's condition even though it was her decisions which indicate that you will not be a burden to her when you make mistakes. You tell these things to everyone which I bet Tala wanted you to keep a secret because you thought it might be of any help which means you will not be able to hide a thing or two to her. So, you better not let her down."
Adasa did not know whether her words were praises or malign.
Adasa felt silent. On his side, a young man nodded in agreement. He knew it too because he was his closest friend, Sadam.
The elders and the 1st class students who were listening, found themselves stunned from their argument. Even sir Enix found himself stupefied.
Eya, didn't you find it a little uncomfortable? asked Sadam. They all know how close the two were.
If Tala is in trouble, she is there to shoulder some of it; and if she is in trouble, Tala extends her shoulder for her.
She answered, "I don't want to be restrained from that Prison Mountain and be buried alive on books, so you better take care of it Adasa," her pompous voice echoed to their ears. Her dream was to explore the world when she got the strength to do so, but if her friend needs help, she doesn't think about the consequences anymore.
Laugh from the elders reverberated in the main hall. Even sir Enix couldn't help it. The students smiled awkwardly.
"Seeing this sight makes me remember our old days," Head Araw chuckled.
"Luwalhati, learn from them too!" Vice-head Luna exclaimed.
"Eh?" Luwalhati lost for words. 'Why did it end up with me?'
"Eya was right. If Tala risks a lot already, then we shouldn't put her effort into waste!" Siya stated.
The other nodded. The 5th class came into agreement.
"Eya will replace Tala. Is there any objection?" The Head asked.
"No more objection," Eya confirmed as he sternly gazed to Adasa warning him not to twaddle.
"It's settled then!" Head Araw confirmed.
