"Hmmm. Well, it looks like everyone is gone, this means that I am all by myself now aren't I?"
"Then and again mother did say she would leave at midnight, hmmm... Well, I might as well get some sleep, there is nothing to do anyways."
So with that said I began to take off all my clothes to get comfy in bed, seeing I have developed a habit of sleeping naked after all.
Moments later I blew the flames of the candle out, leaving the room in darkness, but by doing this, something unexpected happen.
"Is this one of my power as well?"
I asked myself in awe, it would seem when I cast myself in total darkness, I could still see with ease, I wouldn't call this power night vision, no this was different because what I am seeing is something more akin to the outlines of an object.
Imagine drawing everything in this room, but on a black sheet of paper with a white colored pen or pencil.
Yeah, it was like that, because I could see the fine outline of everything around me, it was bizarre since this is a new perspective.
Tempted by this new power I open the window to see what the outside world looks like, and it was just as I thought as soon as moonlight shine down upon me my vision returned to normal.
"I see, so this power is a type of power that allows me to see in total darkness and total darkness alone, any form of light my eyes registers will deactivate this ability no question asked, interesting."
"Hmm. This isn't night vision but something else, almost like a third eye that allows one to see in the unseeable, well for now I shall call this new ability, "Eyes of the Blind One" an ocular power that can grant sight in all forms of darkness."
"But either way, this is useful in fighting in the dark, although for now, I think I shall stop here for tonight, and go to sleep."
With those words said, I closed my eyes as I surrender my consciousness to drowsiness, I eventually fall asleep, after rolling and tossing around in my bed.
A peaceful night of rest was much needed, however, I would soon learn, that the price of life comes with a stiff cost.

...
'Eh, did I leave a window open or something?'
I ask myself as I felt a cold breeze blow past my face, upon feeling this I slowly began to open my eyes, to be met with a familiar face.
Eyes that are as dark as an empty abyss from which not even light can escape.
Skin as purple as amethyst.
Long straight and beautiful, black hair with dark blue tips.
My eyes blink once, she was still there.
It blinks twice she was still there.
Eventually, my mind acknowledge her presence as true, my reaction, however, remains the same, however, this woman was Kthilla.
Our an imitation of her I believe, why you may ask, well it is simple, she wasn't a giant like when I first met her, no she was a simple girl, her figure wasn't busty as before if anything she became smaller.
And by smaller, I meant that she had a petite build, and her height would be no less than 5"0, she wore a simple black dress, that extend past her legs, with a simple black high heel, some features of her original form remain.
For instance, she had a single pair of eyes instead of three, although the color was nothing but black, there was no pupil, only pitch-black eyes from which light cannot escape.
Her skin remained purple, and her hair became more black with the tip being dark blue, as it reaches down to her buttocks, and finally but not least the greatest change of all, is most likely the fact she had a proper human half instead of her octopus half, although behind her back a total of eight black tentacles where wiggling about.
But what caught my attention, however, was the fact that I was sitting in a classy chair, in front of a well-decorated table with cookies, and tea, we were also in a garden filled with the same white roses that were in the same underground castle.
The field of white roses stretched to as far as the eye can see, the place was filled with a thick fog either way so my judgment could be wrong, but the fact remained.
Kthilla was suddenly before me, just drinking tea while looking at me, eventually, she began to speak.
"Thou art doesn't seem too surprised to see thee before ye, thine curiosity has truly peaked in the wonder of your being."
"No, I'm surprised, just confused is all, aren't you dead?"
".... Kakaka... Dead thy am indeed, thy great self perishes to resurrect ye after all."
"Then how are you alive?"
I asked curiously.
"Simple, thy body might have perished in the world of the waking, but tis one conscious mind roams free in the abyss, here is thy final resting place, a sanctuary that houses thy consciousness, currently speaking thou art be in the realm of eternal slumber; welcome to ἄβῠσσος."
"The abyss you say, can you elaborate on what the abyss is in this world, my meaning and yours might be different because from my world we see the abyss as a place of unfathomable horrors, a place of no return in various mythology, especially the Christian Bible."
"Kakak... Well if ye desire to know so bad, then I shalt explain what tis place is, ye should listen carefully now, as I shalt naught explain a second time."
Kthilla said as she poured me a cup of tea, and also a cup for herself as well, meanwhile I nod my head in understanding as I listen carefully.
"The Abyss or ἄβῠσσος refers to the gap between the known and the unknown, the world of the waking or the land of the knowable is a place governed by natural laws, a better definition of tis would be that in the mortal world up ye hails from, is a lesser reality bounded by rules, meaning up can't be down, or down can't be up."
"Meanwhile the world of the unknown is a meta-reality beyond the concept of infinity, beyond the concept of time, beyond the concept of essentially everything imaginable, think of it as unique dreams for everyone who dies that comes here."
"You see tis realm is a place outside the laws of creation, or ye might call tis the final resting place of the Gods, is thy other half understanding what thy great self is saying?"
Kthilla asked to ensure that I was following her.
"Loud and clear, please continue."
"Very well then, where was I again, ah yes~~ so when a God dies their consciousness is sent here, and the only way out is to possess a vessel strong enough to hold the consciousness of said God, and yes a witch or a warlock are those vessels, to be honest, witches and warlocks are what ye would call a back up hard drive, in your world."
"In short we magic users are just puppets in the eyes of the Gods."
"Ye is both right and wrong, thy kind is what we would refer to as a last resort kind of thing to escape the prison that is the abyss, what you humans call believers of fate we dead outer gods, our Elder ones, would call a vessel, basically reincarnation, and every time we reincarnate we come back stronger than before, as we maintain our original power along with the power the vessel cultivated before the said God takes over the conscious mind."
"So what about you, are you going to possess someone?"
"Sadly I can't, we half-breeds don't have that kind of privilege, so unlike true Gods who are truly immortal in the truest sense, we half-breeds have no choice but to die and fade away in the abyss, but my fate is a fate worse than death, you see the body, soul, and mind are three major importance that acts as one, but to revive ye I sacrifice my human soul to burn my divine body down into the component needed to resurrect ye, as a result, thine higher consciousness is all that remains."
"So that means you are trapped here for all eternity ha?"
"Sadly so, but eventually the corruption of this place will mingle with thine self, tis shalt cause me to spiral in eternal madness one day, never dying, never living, just suffering."
She said with a smile on her face drinking a cup of tea.
"You look content though, have you accepted your fate, is vengeance worth it?"
"Ye has no idea, tis is an absolute win thy book, to be honest."
"Hm. I pity you, I truly do, but what will become of me when I die?"
"Well, your soul will come back here, but if ye becomes a God, thou art shall have the privilege to reincarnated."
"Then what about your father Kthilla, let's say I kill him, will his consciousness come back here?"
"Naturally, ye is quick on grasping the situation I see."
"Then how can you kill him?"
"Honestly I don't know, no one has truly killed a God before, I don't think it's even possible, but there are other loops holes, to make him the bare minimum of dead."
Kthilla said with confidence, as I ask her.
"Loopholes like what?"
"Hehe... To be dead honest with ye, explaining will be useless to ye right now, seeing that ye is weak, thou art needs to become a Level 3 existence before thine self can even explain further."
"You're confusing me now, what is a Level 3 existence?"
"Well ye is going to the academy of Merlin sooner or later, there they will teach ye everything ye needs to know about the magic system, along with the different sacrifices, and rituals ye must practice to increase thy power."
Said Kthilla.
"I see, then can you tell me why you summon me here then?"
But the answer I got surprised me.
"I didn't summon ye if anything ye came here on thy own accord, and with thy own power nonetheless, congratulations my successor, ye have done something even I have failed to do in the past, maybe ye was the right choice indeed."
"Wait... What?"
