Apologise

"Calvin is different." Elsa unknowingly muttered 

"How is Cal different?" Ava chuckled and said 

When Elsa didn't say anything, Ava asked again "May I know how Cal is different?"

Elsa pouted her lips and said, "I don't know but he is different."

When Ava let out a hearty laugh, Elsa frowned and asked "Why are you laughing like a mad?"

"This is so unbelievable babe," Ava said 

"What is unbelievable?" Elsa frowned and said 

"What? Don't you know that I am talking about you and Calvin?" Ava chuckled and said 

Pausing for a while, she said "Cal is not a that person who will care for others but he is clearly caring for you babe. He never bother when someone goes on a date or not but he is caring about your date and also snapped at you. Why did he snap at you? "

"Wait, why will someone snap for going on a date unless until they are jealous?" Ava excitedly said 

"Oh my god, Did Cal likes you?" Ava asked 

Elsa rolled her eyes and helplessly shook her head "You are overthinking, I mean what could happen between us?"

Pausing for a while, she said "We are like two different worlds babe, he just time passes and flirting type of boy but I am waiting for someone who will be serious with me, who loves me lifelong not for the one who walks away when he is bored."

"Babe, people may change when they find their perfect one." Ava defended 

"And who told you that nothing will happen between you two? Cal is young, handsome and you are beautiful and sexy, anything can happen between the two of you. "

"Seriously Ava, I am already having a headache after the heated argument with and now you raised it with stupid questions," Elsa muttered before ignoring her best friend who is still giggling.

Calvin's office 

"Oh god, courting on someone is also difficult." Calvin sighed in annoyance after hearing all the methods to court on a woman from his best friend, Nick 

"Yeah man, you have to be patient but don't lose hope okay." Nick patted his shoulders and said 

"So, you want me to apologise to her and ask her out?" Calvin asked 

"Yes, you need to apologise to her but don't blame me if she doesn't want to go out with you." Nick sighed and said 

"Why will she not go out with me?" Calvin frowned and asked 

"She is a woman dude, no one can predict their mood swings." Nick helplessly shook her head and said 

Pausing for a while, he said "One day Ava was hurt and she didn't talk to me for two days. "

"WHAT?" Calvin shouted 

How can he live peacefully when Elsa refuses to talk to him? When the thought of Elsa not talking to him crossed his mind, he couldn't help but fear the most. He can live without food for two days but he can't imagine his life without Elsa. Yes, it's just been few days since they knew each other but Calvin knew how much she means to him. He knew how painful it will be without Elsa being around and he doesn't want to undergo the same pain again.

"No man, he will make sure she talks to me." Calvin sighed and said 

"You should order some gifts to her before apologising because girls like gifts," Nick suggested 

"What should I order?"

Thinking for a while, he said "Let me order some chocolates for her."

"Yeah, they will be best." Nick smiled and said

Elsa and Ava's apartment 

Looking at her messaging app for every minute, Elsa sighed in dejection. It's been half-day since they had a heated argument but there is no message or call from Calvin which made Elsa restless. 

"It's his mistake, right? He should have call or message me and apologise." Elsa muttered 

Looking at the huge pink teddy bear beside her, she said "What will happen if he apologises? I won't kill him, right. Maybe, I will throw some tantrums."

"You don't think too much babe, Cal never apologises. Ava chuckled and said 

When Elsa frowned, Ava said "It's true honey. No matter whose mistake is, Calvin never apologizes."

Glancing at watch, she said "Don't you have a date? Did you postponed it?"

"No, but I have no mood to go," Elsa said 

"What? Don't tell me you are cancelling it because of Calvin?" Ava frowned and asked 

"Stop it, Ava, why will I postpone the date for him? I don't want to attend it because I am not interested." Elsa sighed and said 

"Don't lie to me babe, I know you very well," Ava said 

"You—"

Just then the doorbell rang 

"Let me see," Elsa said and walked towards the door 

As soon as she opened the door, she widened in shock when she looked at the man standing with a gift hamper in his hand.
