Peacefull living

I went down stairs and asked one of the maids when the next meal was going to be. She said in aboout an hour. So I decided to go for a stroll for a while. Then one of the butlers said.

- Are you sertain you can go out sir?

- I'm not going far. Just a small stroll.

- Then, if you may, I shall accompany you.

- If you insist Johnson.

We go walk around the village and I see people working earnestly. Then Louis, Ron's mother, spots me and start to speak to me.

- Don't you supposed to be in bed?

- I feel like a small walk would suffice while waiting for a meal.

- If you say so. Be carefull okay.

- I will, don't worry.

I continue to walk around and I see hunters carrying couple of dead goblins to somewhere. I ask them what they are going to do with them and they said.

- While it's not the best, we're going to eat some goblin meat today.

- You're going to eat goblin meat?

- We take what we can get. We don't hunt them for food explicitly. We just happen to have hunted them and not much else. Don't you worry, we hunted some aln today too, so it's going to the village head's house where you'll be eating.

- Thanks, I guess.

- Don't worry about us who are going to eat the goblin meat. We are used to it out here. Of course if you'd like, you can grab a bite later if you'd like.

- I think I pass.

- If you say so. Enjoy your aln.

- Thanks, and try to enjoy your goblins.

- We sure will try.

We part ways and I walk some more. I spend about an hour walking around and the I return to the Eric's house. There I'm greeted with worrysome looks from the staff because I went outside. It eased their minds that Johnson was with me the whole time, so they stoped lecturing me.

I then went to the dining hall and I was greeted by Eric, Tomy, Thomas, Eiri and Low. Eiri was the mother of Thomas and Tomy, Thomas being the older brother. I sat down and I had a wonderfull meal. We also had a conversation about what I did outside, and when it came to the goblin meat, Eric just said.

- Out here, sometimes you need to eat some nasty food. Luckily we got ourselfs some aln meat. I will let the rest of the staff eat what's left of aln meat. The one they cought was a big fellow you see.

- That is good then. It tastes really good.

- Then thank our chef Rodrigo. He is one of the best, if I do say so myself.

- I will go thank him for the meal than later.

- Why don't we just call him here now?

- If that's not too much to ask.

- Rodrigo!

He comes from the back.

- You needed me sir?

- Tell him Nor.

I say.

- We all think that you have made an excellent dish. You have our thanks.

- I'm honored to hear that.

- And it isn't just this dish, you always bring us some tasty food. Eric here told me that you're one of the best chefs.

- He said so? If so, then you are giving me too much credit sir.

Eric then says.

- What do you mean? Even when I'm out in the finest restaurants, none of them can beat the food that you make us.

- Sir, you are too kind.

- Now go eat your fill too.

- Yes sir.

We then continue our meal with some light conversation. When we are done, Low heads out to help the people out there with farming and I went back to bed, since I was told to do so.

I then waited quietly while reading one of the books they brought me. It told a tale about a person who had lost their lover and tried to bring them back. While doing so, the protagonist brought a great evil to this world and they must stop the evil by any means necessary. The book ends with the protagonist having to kill their lover again in a moment that was truly tear jerking. The sad thing was that the protagonist didn't find solace in the events that transpired and was left broken in the end.

It was a good read and it made the day go by faster than I expected. Then Low came to the room and we started sleeping. I was told that tomorrow I can help with the farm, with some supervision.

Next day came so we had to rise up early and ready for work. The job was simple, check the quality of the grapes and water them if necessary. It sounds simple, but the land was massive and there were multiple fields. It took us a whole day, icluding brakes, to do all the work.

Next day was raining so we didn't have to do much other than feed the catle. There weren't as much catle as there were people, so the job was done relatively fast. Most of the days, Hanah handles the catle by herself.

Next day we were told to help the hunters, as one of them wasn't feeling well, so we assisted. We hunted couple of boars and one aln, so it was a good haul. When we were done hunting, we skinned the prey and collected what could be used in trade and food. Apparently aln's eyes are an alchemical ingredient in some way. The hunting and the talk of alchemy makes me feel like I've forgotten something. Perhaps something about my past, but I've always been a helping hand in villages like this, so that doesn't sound right. Perhaps I'm imagining things.

Next day we were ordered to assist the hunters once again, since now more of them were feeling sick. We did like yeasterday and hunted some two alns and a boar. We saw some goblings, so we hunted them down and brought their corpses to be eaten later. Thankfully me and Low didn't have to eat them, but I do feel kind of guilty on bringing them here. After all, I could have left them there to be eaten by wildlife.

Next day we were once again helping the hunters. Some of the ones who were sick before, have been getting better, so they are ready for more hunting. Today however, we did only catch one aln and a boar. Other hunters caught one boar as well and it was Sarah who caught it. Guess today some will need to eat some goblin meat again.

Next day most of the hunters were feeling a bit better, but all couldn't participate because their illness. We were told by a doctor from the nearest town, that the illness should disapear in couple of days. He also told us to be carefull to not catch it ourselves, since it was somewhat easy to spread. It wasn't life thretening for the most people, but we still should be carefull. Once he left, we went back to hunting. Today was a good haul. Me and Low caught two alns and a boar, while the rest of the hunters caught an aln and a boar.

Next day we still went hunting, but the hunters that were sick, were starting to get better. During our hunt, we encountered some wolfs, but they were easy to defeat for me, Low and Sarah. We decided to bring the wolfs corpses, as their fur and meat could be used. We also cought an aln and other hunter caught a boar. Thinking about wolfs reminds me of Aktor for some reason. Where did I know him from, I wonder?

Next day we did some light hunting and after the work was done, we held a small feast, since it was Thomas' 10th birthday. Most of the adults got drunk with alcohol, like me and Eric. Eiri and her kids didn't drink and while Low did drink, she didn't get drunk at all. When I got a bit drunk, I'm reminded by the twins, Set and Etan. They were... demon princes of order and alcohol I think. Now why was I reminded of them? Must be the alcohol.

Next day, most of the adults had hangovers, so the work took a bit longer than usual. Eric especieally, had some problem, since he was hearing an earfull from Eiri because he tried to grope her when he was drunk during the feast. I barely got up myself and I was ordered to go help Marcus clean the graves a bit. I went there and did what was asked. Grab some sticks and throw them out, brush the leafs out and gather the remains of candles.

While I was cleaning, I came across a peculiar grave. It was a grave that belongs to Vernos family. The family of the head of the village. When I tried reading it, it was a bit mushy, but I managed to gather the years 62_-62_. This makes no sense. Now is year 630 and I know only two people in Vernos family that match the possible ages. Thomas and Tomy. There haven't been anyone else in that family that matches the years. What is this? Who... no, they both are alive, I've seen them and talked to them almost every day for couple weeks now. What is... Tomy was sick before but... My head hurts.

Then Marcus taps me in the shoulder and asked.

- Is everything alright?

- I... well... Yes, I'm fine.

- You seemed a bit out there for a moment. You sure you're okay?

- I'm... fine, thank you. Do you need anything else?

- No, I think you are free to go now.

- If you say so. And thanks... for... worrying about me.

- No problem.

I leave the church and began my walk back to Vorno. Something feels off. I return to the village and start helping them manage the farm. During that time I'm reminded that Rell was the one who told me about Tomy's sickness. I decided to go and find him when I got free time.

When I got free time, I go seaching for Rell. It took a while, but I found him playing with Tomy and Ron. I then asked the boys.

- Hey, can I borrow Rell for a second?

Tomy asked.

- What for?

- I just need to confirm about something. It wont take long.

Ron and Tomy look at Rell, who then says.

- Fine, let's go there.

He points at a tree close by.

- Let's go.

We go there and once there, we start talking.

- So why did you need me?

- I came to confirm something. You said that before, Tomy was sick and couldn't leave the bed.

- I said that, yes.

- And then he suddenly became healthy?

- Yes he did.

- Don't you feel like that's a bit strange?

- I mean, it was suposed to be an illness that would kill him eventually. Yes, I think it's a bit strange.

- Do you know anything else about it?

- Let me think. ... My head hurts a little, but I remeber a man with demon tatoos on his face came while before Tomy got better. Strange... I don't recal seeing him leave. I still haven't seen him for a while. Like he still is here, but isn't. My head is starting to hurt.

- Do you...?

Then Ron comes from out of nowhere and hops to Rell's back. We notice Tomy close behind him

Ron: What you two talking about?

Rell: We were... wait... what were we talking about?

Ron: Huh! You don't remember?! Don't give me that crap! Spill it out!

Rell: I honestly...

Nor: We were talking about Tomy's illness.

Ron: Oh, that thing. Yeah, he was very sick a while back. But now he's okay, so who cares.

Nor: I was just wondering that isn't it strange that he suddenly got better?

Tomy: It is kind of strange honestly speaking.

Rell: Ugh... my head hurts again.

Tomy: You okay?

Rell: I'm fine, just... didn't you supposed to die from that?

Tomy: I think I was supposed to, yes.

Ron: But who cares. He is better now.

Nor: Why aren't you worried about that.

Ron: Because... umm... shut up!

Ron runs away.

Tomy: Should we follow him?

Rell: I think he'll be fine. Ugh... Why am I the only one getting headaches.

Nor: That's... Wait, is it possible that the closer you get to the truth, the more your head starts to hurt and you will eventually forget again?

Rell: That sounds like... ugh... a solid idea.

Tomy: Then why I don't get headaches?

Nor: That's... Look, I found this grave that belongs to the Vernos family. It said that someone born in between of 620 and 629. It didn't say the person's name, but it clearly is Vernos family's grave.

Rell: So that means.

Tomy: That I am already dead.

Nor: That is the conclusion I've come to.

Rell: I'm sorry, but it is the likeliest option out of Thomas and you.

Tomy: I... understand. But why am I still here?

Nor: The person who we came here to track is a bad man that can trick minds with illusions.

Tomy: So... I'm...

Nor: As far as the signs show, you are just an illusion.

Tomy: But... I can't be... I can feel, I can eat.

Rell: Even so.

Tomy: No... I'm really...

Nor: I'm sorry. I wish it wasn't so.

Tomy: No... NO!

Tomy runs away while crying. If I don't solve this soon, I will hear an hell from Eric.

Rell: I... Ugh... Will probably forget soon, so... good luck.

Nor: Thanks.

Rell: Where did Tomy and Ron go?

Nor: They went back to their homes.

Rell: I see, then I will go too.

Nor: You do that.

Rell leaves. Now it's only me. What am I supposed to do? Where... Ugh... My head is starting to hurt. I must hurry. Is Delir still here? Accordin to Rell, he didn't think that the man never left. But as he said, I haven't seen a person like that. It's getting late, I should return to... NO... I still have to solve this! If the person isn't showing himself, is he just invisible? Or is he using someone as a spare body? Who would that... Ugh... The headaches... Tom and Rell bouth felt it when they got closer to truth. Who else could... Ron. Ron didn't feel any headaches when he found out that Tomy might be dead. He just denied it. Is it because he didn't believe? But even so, he acknowledged that Tomy was sick, which caused others to feel some sort of headaches. I'm running out of time. I must find Ron.

Then I saw Low runing towards me.

- There you are! What did you say to poor Tomy?! He was crying that he might not be real. What's the matter with you!?

- Look! Remember why we are here!

- What?

- Just try it!

- We came here as a helping hands.

- That's not the reason! We came here bacause of Delir!

- Delir... a... name I must not forget... Ugh

- That's it! Remember what he did to that village we saw before!

- That village... all those dead people... tha man... begging for us to end his life. I remember. I remember! Nor, we must safe these villagers!

- Thats right. I have a good feeling Ron might have something to do with this. Let's go before we forget again.

- Understood. And... umm... what does it mean to be married?

- I explain later. We must go!

- Understood.

We then run to Ron's house. We ask around and he's not there. We run around the farm and see no sights of him. Where are you?!

Then we saw Heily with her mom. We asked them in a hurry.

- Have you seen Ron anywhere?

Sarah answers.

- Yeah, we saw him just a moment ago near the forest. Told us he was just catching something and will return to home shortly. What's wrong.

- Thanks. Let's go!

- Wait!

We go to the edge of the village and we saw him standing near the edge. Then he turned around and said in a cold voice.

- So you've finally figured it out. Managed to hold on to your memories this long I see. Does it keep hurting?

- Yes. Am I still speaking to Ron?

- So you've cought on. Very good. No, Ron just, "sleeps" at the moment.

- Let him go.

- And why would I do that? It's nice to hang around in a body this young. The village folk have no idea. Speaking of the villagers.

We saw Ricko, Louis, Eric, Eiri, Thomas, Tomy and Sarah come behind us.

Eric: You! What did you do to my son!?

Nor: I...

Eric: How dare you come to my house, eat my food and sleep in my bed just to upset my son!

Nor: I can explain, I...

Eric: No excuses! Leave this village now and never return!

Nor: I...

Eric: Leave before I do something you regret.

What do I do?

Ron: He's right you know.

Eric: What?

Ricko: Son, shut your...

Ron: Would you shut for a moment.

Ron snaps his fingers.

Ricko: Argh!

Ricko suddely falls to the ground while squerming with agony.

Ron: Now, Eric, about your son.

Eric: What did you do to Ricko?

Ron: That doesn't matter. What matters, is your son. You see, he died couple moths ago and has been dead for all that time.

Eric: What are you... He's right here.

Ron: No, he is not anymore. Isn't that right, Tomy?

Tomy: That's right. I died because I was sick and I'm just an illusion.

Eric: No... NO! Son, are alive and...

Eric tries to touch Tomy but his hand fell right trough.

Eric: What is... son?

Tomy: As he told you, I'm not real. Why don't you TRY TO REMEMBER!

Ron snaps his fingers.

Eric: No... NOO!

All of the Vernos family fall to the ground with their hands in their head screaming.

Eiri: No... NOO!

Thomas: Tomyyy!

Ron: That's it, scream in agony. Ahh, this is the best feeling. The family feeling the lost of their own a fourth time. Ahh, it just hits right. While to be honest, it taste better the first time, but why don't you enjoy the same good meal couple of times.

Nor: Fourth time? You mean you've done this repeatedly?

Ron: Yeees! I made it hapen once already while you were here. It's simply just a snap of a finger and we are back to square one.

Low: Why... why would you do these things!?

Ron: Oh, since you are so young, you have yet to experience the darker joys of life. Once you get into it, AHH, IT JUST KEEPS COMING!

Low: You... You monster!

Low tries to attack Delir.

Louis: NOOO!

Then Ron snaps his fingers and Low falls to the ground, gets back up and starts falking backwards a little.

Ron: Now now. Be civil here. There is no need for such violence.

Trough gritted teeth Low says.

Low: You!

Ricko: What... Ugh... What did you do to my son.

Ron: Oh, that, I'm just using him as an... well... how do you simple people would understand this... Umm... OH, I'm using this as one of my spare bodies. I'm actually somewhere else. And at the same time, right here. Nowhere and everywhere.

Ricko: You... Let my son go!

Ron: Oh, well you see, this idea was your sons initially. Well, in a way it was.

Louis: What do you mean?

Ron: You see, well, it's not my place to tell a personal secrets. What should I do. Naah, I tell you anyways. You see, little boy Ron had a crush on the wheeny boy Tomy.

Ricko: Wh-What? Love at that age?

Ron: Yes, it's possible to prepubescent child to fall in love with someone. It might hit them different, but it's still love. Oh love, how far you will go with it. And yet will never receive! End scene.

Eric: Ron was... in love with my son?

Ron: Oh, so you recovered. Yes, all that tough boy act was a defence mechanism because he didn't know how to put out his feeling. And what I could tell from Tomy, when he was still alive, he held similar feelings also.

Eric: That's... My son did... How do you...?

Ron: I can get inside peoples minds, my guy. It's my speciality. Well, that and the fact I can make super powerfull illusions. MASTER MIND if you'd like.

Ricko: Then... the reason why he...

Ron: He asked my help to "PLEACE SAFE TOMY MR.DEMON, I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR IT". And thus begun my fun. I mean, I could not bring people back to life. But what I can do is make an identical illusion to DANCE around with. So it was anyways. I was running out of inspiration of what to do with this village, so Ron coming up and requesting me to do something, was godsend for me.

Low: You... What gives you the right.

Ron: BECAUSE... uhm... because, my dear child, I am litteral GOD in this world. I am the sleeper who is having a lucid dream and you all are my pawns in that dream. I can do WHATEVER I PLEAAACE, uhm, and no one can stop me. Like a clear spot in the clouds, I will shine my light as I will. And to others, I will let it rain and let them live their miserable lifes. Only I, DELIRUS, can show you the mercy of being inside my dream.

Nor: I... I wont let you do as you pleace.

I start to walk toward him.

Ron: Oh? You think you can do anything about it? Come on then! Do your worst.

I grab Ron's shoulders. I must do something.

Ron: What is it!? Do you plan to do a staring contest so solve this!? I'm all for it, if you are!

I must... What do I do? That's it! I should try to put part of my soul to Ron and see if that helps it. I start doing it.

Ron: What is this? Puting your soul to Ron's body? I know that original powers have resistance to my powers, but this is... Wait... Oh it's harder for me to... Well shiver mi timbers, it's actually working. HAHAAA. Come! Do your forst!

I continue to put my soul to Ron and finally he drops unconscious. Then he wakes up and says.

Ron: Where am I?

Nor: Are you Ron.

Ron: Yes, of course I am. Now what is going on.

Nor: Remember that demon man who you met. His name is Delir and he is know as a mad god.

Ron: What... But he promised to bring Tomy back! What happened?!

Nor: He... only casted an illusion that looked like Tomy. I'm sorry.

Ron: No... NO!

He runs to his parents while crying and hugs them.

Ron: He can't be gone! I... I didn't get to say what I wanted to him!

Ricko: We know son, we know.

We spent a moment of silence while letting those who grieve, grieve. Then we hear a voice in our heads.

???: You really think that this is all over?

Nor: Delir.

Delir appears from the forest. He has long black hair and a black coat that has one of it's sleeves riped off.

Delir: Oh, how fine it is to reconcile with your parents. But you still have a teeny tiny little problem here. That your god is here to have some fun.

Nor: What do you want?

Delir: I have one main goal that will never change and other subgoal. The main goal is to have fun by any means necessary. Which I am currently clap clap clap.

He claps as he says so.

Delir: The subgoal, that I acquired resently, is that I want to make a fellow god go on a rampage.

Nor: Fellow god? You mean Low?

Delir: As far as I know, there is no other gods here, other than me. But since she borders the line of divine, I decided to, well, "guide" her to a more interesting path.

Nor: I wont let you!

Delir: And who are you to stop me. You may be immortal in terms of aging, but you still can be killed easily. All I have to do is make others do it for me. Breaking your mind is tad more difficult than normal people, but not impossible. But I want you to die and not sully this godes with your "righteousness" and "being good". No, I want to share the fun of this world with her as a fellow true immortal. You can't give her that joy. Oh no. You will just ruin a perfect friend of mine.

Low: Like I would ever join hands with you. I can only sleep with Nor.

She said so proudly.

Delir: It's nothing that I can't fix. Unfortunately, you are like any other mortal in that sense that I can manipulate your mind as I pleace. After all, YOU are just a mere pupet to a failed experiment.

Low: And you were mistake in general.

Delir: Well... ouch... How fragile are these feelings of mine. Yet I continue to find entertainment in the plays of mortals. Nay, for I shall make my own entertainment also. Oh yes, I will be the writer and you my actors and actresses. But fear not, dear play writers, I shall still watch as you make dances like no other. For I am the ultimate writer and you are just a side dish. With some great dippings. The end.

He bows.

Nor: And Aktor tells me that I like to do some weird poems.

Delir: I make no simple poems. I'm just a FANTASTIC water drop that will always continue its way. Drip drop... Drip drop... But now it's starting to get a bit... how do you say... stagnant. How about we continue our little game.

Nor: What do you...?

He snaps his fingers and suddenly Low looks panicked.

Low: No, stop!

Nor: What did you do!?

Delir: I'm making her believe that all people around here are trying to kill you. And with that...

Low starts to attack the villagers. Sarah was able to stop Low's attacks somewhat, but she strugles.

Sarah: What are you doing?! Stop this.

Delir: It's useless. She can't hear any other words than what I make her hear.

Low continues her attacks. Sarah couldn't keep up, so she was pushed back. Then Low targets other villagers and give them heavy bruises. No one is dying, but they are damn close.

Delir: This is fun to look at! Talk about caring for one another.

I try to run to Low, but I suddenly am stoped by something.

Delir: Can't have you ruin the fun now.

I must do something. Can I remotely put parts of my soul in Low from here. Just like how Sa'at gave his power of adaptation to me. I must try. i think really hard and focus on Low. Consetrate. I can hear her punches and the screams. Consentrate. Got it!

Then Low stops her barrage of punches.

Low: What? No one is... What did I...

Delir: Facinating. Didn't think you could do that. No matter. Just have to make it so that you can't focus on one person.

He snaps his fingers and suddenly all of the villagers, who were just unconscious, rise up and start attacking us. Most troublesome is Sarah. Low can handle them well, but she is afraid that she might hurt them. I decide to cast "binding" to all of them, so that they stop moving. None of them can move much, but they are trying their hardest to do so. I then start to focus on each of them individually.

Delir just puts his hand on his chin for a moment.

Delir: Hhm...

Then he starts to scratch his head aggressively.

Delir: Argh... Urrrr...

Then he stop.

Delir: I gotta give it to you, your ability is more troublesome than I initially gave it credit for.

Nor: I take it as a compliment.

Delir: But do not misunderstand. You haven't made them immune to my illusions. You have just made it a little bit harder for me to deal with. You see, while most of my powers are sealed, it only affects the amount of people I can affect with illusions as well as the range. I can use all my powers to overwrite your little shield you have against me. Like I did when you got close to the truth the first time. Currently, I choose not to use as much power as I did back then since I plan to end this game very soon.

Nor: Those can be taken as excuses.

Delir: Oh, are you so foolish as to test someone who can bend the will of LITTERAL GODS to my will. I don't mind breaking your mind here and now, if you prefer.

Nor: Since even original powers are wary of you, I choose to not test your patience.

Delir: You know, those binding and the transfer of parts of your soul are just a hindrance. Why don't we use one of the two great powers of this world. One of them is love, oh so precious love. Can you guess the second one?

Nor: Feel free to tell.

Delir: The other one is pain.

He snaps his fingers and suddenly the villagers, who are still in bindings, start to strugle even more when they were in Delir's control.

Nor: What did you do!?

Delir: I just made them feel more pain if they don't try to escape from your bindings. No matter how fruitless it may be, they will rather push themselfs to a point of bleeding, than feel the amount of pain that I cause.

Nor: I wont let you!

I start to put parts of my souls to Ron, who is also affected by Delir's illusions. I put as much as I can, but the pain doesn't seem to go away. What do I do?

I continue doing so, until Thomas breaks the bindings so I decide to free all of them instead.

Delir: You finally see? You can do nothing about my illusions if I get the slightest bit of serious.

Low: You!

Low decides to attack him again, but this time he doesn't cast any illusions. This time Delir doesn't do anything and just closes his eyes and let's her land a hit to his face. His head detaches from his body and bouth the body and the head go flying to the forest, breaking some of the trees. We all take a breath, until we hear a his voice from behind us.

Delir: You really think that, that would be able to stop me.

We look back where the blood and the rest of the body should be, and it's disappeared.

Delir: Did't you get the memo? I Bouth exist and don't exist. You can do damage to my body, but once it doesn't exist, the damage disapears. Then I just have to reappear and it's all dine and dandy. This is one of the multiple ways I can get away with being attacked. You have seen just two of my ways of evading attacks. Now then.

He snaps his fingers and we feel a sudden burst of pain so we all fall to the ground.

Delir: Now this village will feel pain as long as I choose. No rest, no relieve, just pain constantly. See how long they will... Wait... should I try to make this village full of my followers? That's a great idea me!

He snaps his fingers and after a while people from around the village come to gather.

Delir: Now, as you all are in pain, I suggest a compromise to you. You stop reseiving pain for the rest of your lives, and you become one of my followers. How does that sound.

Some of the villagers try to defy him, but when they realize that he is not bluffing, they start to give in. One by one. Until they all have taken up his offer. All except Eric, me and Low.

Delir: What do you say dear village head? Feel pain for the rest of your life or become my subordinate?

Eric: Why would I give in to the most evil person that I've known?

Delir: But look at the bright side! You get to live your life pain free and you get to become one of my bodies if I ever need to do so.

Eric: I... refuse.

Delir: Then live in wonderfull pain for the rest of your life. Now then, Low and Nor.

He walk towards us.

Delir: What do you say?

He extends his hands towards us. I see Low wavering so I try to do something that is risky. I call help from Lex to teleport me, Low and Eric out of here. Delir looks bit baffled for a moment and then laughs.

Delir: Hahhahhahha... You realy think that this will solve anything. Fleeing!? Hahhah... and I took you as a people who are righteous.

Lex heard this and came to us instead.

Lex: You got lot of nerve to say things like tha Delirus.

Delir: Hahhahhah... And what are you going to do? Cast some meager spells that do absolutely nothing to me.

Lex: You are half right.

Delir: Hahhah... What do you mean, my dear uncle?

Lex: This.

Lex bangs his staff to the ground and suddenly a giant circle appears.

Delir: Hah... And what is this?

Lex: You will leave these people alone and be gone from place.

Delir: HAHHAHHA... You think you can do that?! You have never been able to affect me!

Lex: I have had lot of time in my hands to figure this one out.

Delir: Hahahhahha... There you go again! With your little attampts of...

The light from the circle gets brighter and we can barely see. As it lights up, we can no longer hear Delir's voice from anywhere. Then the light disipates and we see that Delir is gone. We don't feel any pain anymore and the villagers start to cry of joy. Children are hugging their parents and adults are hugging the nearest person there is.

Lex: He is gone for now, I've made sure of that. But he is not fully gone.

Eric: What do you mean?

Lex: Those who he put his spell of "body take over", I can't remove it. To those who made a contract with him, I'm very sorry.

Ricko: But... can't you do something about it?

Lex: I'm sorry.

Many of the villagers start to look desperate.

Lex: But you don't need to worry too much. You can live most of your lives like you have to this point. He rarely takes control of a person, unless he refuses to reverse the death of his current body.

Some light comes to their faces, but with little gloom on their eyes.

Lex: Should we go?

Eric: Wait!

Lex: What is it?

Eric: I need to thank you all for what you done. While most of the villagers have been touched by him, you still gave small light to our lives. For that I thank you.

The rest of the village thanks us as well.

Lex: Then we should go.

We leave with Lex back to Lech't A Sol. There I ask Lex.

- What you said about Delir, is it true.

- Sadly no.

- Why did you lie to them?

- It was for the best. It's better to have some light than nothing at all.

- I see.

Then me and Low go to sleep. During which Low asked anout the marriage thing. I explained her the concept of marriage. Then she said.

- It kind of sound like us, yet kind of doesn't. It felt weird.

- I agree that it felt weird.

Then we bouth try to sleep the night and get some sleep, but the horror that we faced is still burning in our minds. In the end, we still lost. How do we beat him? How?

I just warn those who might get easily triggered. In next chapter, there will be a **** sequence. If you are easily triggered, feel free to skip the next part. To be more precise, it will be near the end of the chapter.

Sorry to those who feel I've spoiled something. Just felt like I had to put a warning first.
