Not a Criminal, Just a Collector Part 6

He stood in front of a small store. The store Antonio had given him was a small gun store as owning guns in the Out was common, Eddie owned more than enough for himself. He pushed open the door and was met with three pointed guns, "Fuck you Nog."

"Stick'em up, hands out of your pockets, now," Eddie put his hands up and one of the men lowered his gun and stood in front of Eddie as another closed the door, "Who sent you?"

"No one, why?"

"Why did you come here with that bike of yours?"

"To buy a gun?" He said, trying to fake a confused look, "Doesn't that make sense?"

"No, you look like a rich guy."

"Well, that doesn't mean that I can't buy a gun, right?"

"Who sent you? What are you looking for?"

"Really?" He turned and slammed into the closest man to him and crushed his throat with his metal fist before using him as a meat shield as the other gunman opened fire. Finding cover behind the counter he drew his gun and saw a small metal magazine, empty on the floor. He knew where they were more or less. The magazine appeared from behind the counter and a bullet found its place in the second gunman's throat, "Two down, surrender now and I won't hurt you too much."

"Fucking hell, what are you?"

"Enhanced, toss your gun," He heard a gun clatter on the floor. He stood up and aimed his pistol at the man and saw him with his hands in the air, "Good man, move to the counter," Eddie held him at gunpoint as he moved back to the counter, "Why did you attack me?"

"We were told that you would come, the Collector."

"By who."

"I don't know."

"You know why I came?"

"No clue."

"The girl you kidnapped."

"We kidnapped? What the fuck are you smoking? We never touched her, we were told to watch her, and we did, but some thugs rolled in and snatched her up, right out of our fingers, man, we ain't got nothing to do with this."

"Then who did? Marks, symbols, the thugs, something that you could distinguish."

"Large tattoos, black and blue shield on one of their necks, um, painted guns?"

"What color? What patterns?"

"Red, with a skull and wings."

"Black skull?"

"Yeah, white wings."

"Did they have a leader? They were four?"

"Yeah, but what are you going to do with me now?"

"Nothing," He shrugged and turned his back on the man, "You gave up."

"Motherfucker," Eddie turned as the man drew a gun and fired a round. The bullet when through the man's chest and his gun clattered to the floor as his head bounced off on the counter's edge.

"I guess I am going to make you join them, in hell," He slammed the door behind him and climbed onto his bike, "Julie, Julie, Julie, what are you doing in this business?"

"Eddie? You came on your own, why?" Julie asked as he pushed the door to her office before closing it and walking towards her with a glare.

"Where is she?"

"Who is she?"

"Where is she?!" He shouted, making Julie jump, "Why did your men kidnap her?"

"Who are you talking about?"

"The girl, don't mess with me," He said as his hand found his pistol, "I don't care if you are a close friend, I have a job to do."

"The girl? That girl?"

"Yes, who else would I be talking about?"

"Sarah Paige?"

"Yeah, where is she?"

"Why would I have her?"

"Your symbol on guns."

"Really? And why would I want to mess with her?"

"I don't know, but if I choose to trust you, I need one thing."

"Which is?"

"A man with a blue and black shield on his neck, his name, his location, he is one of yours," Eddie said sitting down, "I have a job to do."

"Alberto Hondora, he doesn't work for me anymore, but he used to."

"What do you have on him?"

"Ex-military, he was a convoy guard then changed from my convoy guard to one of my henchmen, now, I don't know."

"Where does he live?"

"I am not giving that to you."

"So you want me to give you a bullet?" He place his hand that was holding his large handgun on the table, "I have a job to do, and friends count as bodies once they get in my way."

"6th, 18th, he lives alone."

"Perfect, I am sorry about that, Julie."

"No, no, I know what you do, you have to."

"Thanks, Julie," He smiled and headed towards the door, "See you later."

"Of course you will, Eddie, don't get yourself killed."

"I won't, I still have time."

"That is what you always say."

"Alberto is a timer."

"Well, you might as well go and end it, you are some type of criminal."

"No," He laughed, "I am not a criminal , just a collector."
