Not a Criminal, Just a Collector Part 4

Eddie pushed open the door and found a man that was clearly just another brute, tattooed from head to toes, wearing three actual chains and spinning a knife between his hands, "AoD sent me."

"Speak then."

"I am here to collect what you took from AoD."

"Who the fuck do you think I am? Some fucking thief? I might be a thug, but this business is more money than I need."

"What's in that safe?"

"My pay," His pay was 250,000 per month and the safe wasn't of the small type, "You want to see?" Eddie nodded and he opened the safe and it had 250,000 in it, not one zepal more, Julie had told him that she had paid them earlier that month, "See?"

"If anyone would be stealing, who would it be?"

"Why?"

"Money has been funneled out of the business and product too."

"Shit, fucking hell, maybe check the room that the other guys have, down there, follow," He was more cooperative than Eddie expected, "Right here is Richie's room, Killian and Hector, right there, the only guys that are allowed to manipulate cash or product aside from me."

"Perfect, call 'em up."

"Will do," He waited for the three of them to come up and sent Ricky away.

"What'd we do?"

"Open the safes, all of them, now."

"Shit, okay, okay," Richie said and opened his before reaching to his pocket, revealing a safe that was mostly empty, so was Hector's and then before Killian opened his, Eddie felt the barrel of a gun be pushed against the back of his head, "Don't fucking move, prick."

"You want to die?"

"Nah, but you will, fucker, we gonna keep taking and you'll do nothing."

"I don't think so," He spun and his metal arm took Richie off of his feet and then he swung the assault rifle down and fired at Hector before holding Killian at gunpoint, "Open the safe," He nodded and quickly opened it, reveal the stolen money and product stuffed into his safe. Another gunshot sounded as Ricky arrive on the scene, "You will need new men."

"What the hell?"

"Leave the stuff, I am gonna get someone for this."

"You are the boss man."

Katie dumped the guns and the bags into the back of the van and then closed them, "Thanks, Katie."

"I am built to service you."

"And very strong."

"As I said, Eddie, shall you drop me off?"

"Nah, you'll carry the bags."

"Yes Eddie, I will do that."

"You got here early, Eddie," Julie said as she looked at him enter with Katie, "Who is that? You work with a partner?"

"Nah, this is a service bot, so she helps out," She placed the bags near Julie and then stood behind Eddie once more, "The henchmen were stealing, not the boss."

"What happened to them?"

"I might have a stain on my coat, a red one."

"You have a stain, Eddie?"

"Katie, no, it was a joke, that I killed them."

"I understand, Eddie," Julie laughed at Katie's answer before leaning over and opening the bags.

"Money and product, thank you, Eddie, here, have your share," She counted out a few stacks of bills, "How does 1,000,000 sound?"

"Better than usual," He said, giving the money to Katie, "Hold that, will you? Thanks," She held the bills in her arms, "Well, thanks for the job, more money for me."

"And more for me," Julie smiled, "Thank you for your services once more, Eddie."

"Yeah, call me if you need something."

"Or vice versa."

"If we switch roles."

"Before you go."

"Yeah, Julie?"

"Do you care about the people you kill?"

"No, I need to live, and they are in my way," He shrugged before getting up and heading to the room, "See you later?"

"I will call you if I want to see you later, Eddie, don't assume things."

"Fine with me, come Katie, let's get going."

"Yes, Eddie."
