Chapter 9: Rebirth

In the Sea State of Nothingness.

It was only 1 meter before he can reach the stone. But suddenly an unexplainable thing happened!

The stone disappeared!

"My child, it wasn't on your level yet. The power of that stone will devoid you from being a human or else you will turn into a devil. For now, I will give you a chance. Think twice! The only thing you will chant is my existence!"

A glamorous voice yet serene sounded.

It doesn't have a form nor shape.

"Existence? What is your existence…" He replied standing while the voice faded.

'What is his reason to show up like this time? Ugh… The stone, yes the stone. It was gone.'

His only hope was gone.

Then suddenly the Sea State of Nothingness collapsed or so shattered.

He could only see the blurry images of his surroundings.

4 coloured rays in the mixture are enveloping him.

He closed his eyes and felt his body.

'So this is my body. What a powerful aura. If I battled with an Existence then maybe I can block his attack 4 times but, fleeing is not an option. I know they were only in legends but seeing my body this powerful I can feel them! The Existence!'

"With this power, I can take my revenge now, Haha!" He touches his chest while slowly opening his eyes.

Then a sudden realization dawned upon him.

'This… this… what did I do?'

He can see 1 mile away from his location.

A beautiful landscape yet a deadly scene!

All calamities are present! Storm, glacials, erupting volcanoes, poisons, etc.

Everything is in Havoc! Everything was ruined!

Those which seem like deserts turned into ice fields!

If he knows back then, he would really kill himself! He strongly approved of his power but seeing this mess made by him. He can't think of something!

"I….." His body shook and fall.

He couldn't cry, or even say sorry.

Sorry for what? He made this mess! He is so selfish to the core! He didn't even make something more useful. He only stayed for killing, revenge and everything. Now, this thing happened, how he can he feel what is wrong and the "sorry?"

For what? for what reason he would beg for forgiveness? He killed them without mercy!

Only by experiencing unexpected things will make you feel how to be alive. With five senses and a beating heart.

'Did I even think about their life? Purple? And everyone who cared about me? But It's just me who is ignorant of the world! But what can I do? It is my will to take a life, to take revenge for my parent's death!

That was the only thing I wanted to accomplish. But this… Am I pitied by the heavens to experience this all? Is my existence that vain?'

Then he shouted,

"Answer me! Answer me!! What do I mean to you?? What existence I am?? Why do I live for? Why did I live? Why do I… sob? sob."

He felt his world sank down.

He sniffed and cried for whatever reason.

This was the 2nd time he felt that the world is unreasonable.

"What is my existence, the reason for my existence! If I haven't I will make 3 or two, even thousands."

But then someone called him!

'My Child you called me again.'

The glamorous and serene voice echoed in his mind.

'Is my existence had something to do with you?'

'You do not have sufficient power yet to seek to answer my child. For now, grow stronger. The only thing you need to do is to become stronger. Follow what was your dream, your dreaaammm. My ch..i…i…ldddd….' The glamorous and serene voice faded.

His mind became blurry and died out. His timeline moved backwards as if it was a video that was edited backwards in fast-backwards not fast forward.

He could see his actions, his body moves like backwards. A feeling that will make you experience what life you have. All the things he could see was his past, assassinating, fighting and killing!

What a life that is too boring. Killing mindlessly is his life.

It timed skipped and became blurry. And it skipped and skipped and it skipped.

Only those memories that seemed intact in his mind showed, but the other was skipped out and erased memories don't show also. But it wasn't that important. He only closed his eyes and died out.

'I think this is my fate? To die and will come back to nothingness.'

He doesn't know what is the meaning behind that old man words.

He only accepted that he will die and no other reasons, "why?"

'This must be the feeling to die. The greater your sin the greater the pain.'

"In the next life, if I have given a chance to live again, I would like to reach my vendetta 'Be stronger than your past self or be the strongest so that you can protect your everyone…"
