But Shen Ming had a bad premonition that something awful and detrimental for him has occurred, after a while he summoned everyone but then the servants revealed the news about the missing status of the heir of the family, Shen Fei.

Shen Ming heart pounded like it's about to explode and he quickly entered Shen Fei room to gaze upon the empty room with only an unconscious woman on the bed, and some dark scorched patterns on the wall stating the doom that was about to befall him.

After being reprimanded and given one last chance, Shen Ming used every means including the network of Dark Guild to unearth the identify of the kidnapper, the whole underground channel and behind the shadows scene changed as for the course of the investigation, various suspects were apprehended.

Shen Ming had the policy of killing wrong people than to let the right target slip away and as such various criminals not associated with the Dark guild were erased from the Glory City.

The other families could also sense that something has happened in the sacred family but the lack of response from the Shen clan only left them to speculations.

Various target were set and many unknown people were also investigated including Nie Li's family.

Nie Li wasn't worried because it's close to impossible to make huge movement in the city, especially when the other families are now monitoring the overall situation. The team dispatched to scan Nie Li family were just some Sliver Rank fighters, they posed little to no threat to the family whatsoever, but the idea of being so wantonly spied wasn't something which Nie Li enjoyed so, he striked the Dark guild workers and put him under his illusion.

After scanning through the person mind, Nie Li made another huge discovery, that the Sacred Family has relationship with Dark Guild!

Although the Shen family was suspicious and a mere silver rank doesn't have much clues proving the collaboration. Nie Li doesn't need proof, only the smallest of link would be enough to deduce the whole picture.

Actually, Nie Li doesn't care about the Dark guild or whatever. His only priority is safety and his apprehension in involving them in this mix is their hidden strength. Nie Li decided to squeeze all the benefits he can and immediately stop his actions against Sacred Family else he would be found out sooner or later.

As the night continued on, the darkness became more and more concentrated. Nie Li stood up and his eyes turned unbelievably cold and unforgiving as if the previous Nie Li who was playing with Nie Yu is possessed by an otherworldly demon.

Nie Li walked outside under the cover of the night. His figure blurred and disappeared without leaving any signs of himself.

Nie Li reappeared inside a huge basement like room, filled with various treasures, elixir, demon spirit stone thrown and stacked together like they were worthless.

Near the pile of unbelievable riches there was a small area which was completely empty with just a bloody body lying around.

This place is Nie Li Inventory and also the temporary asylum for Shen Fei.

"Shen Fei, Today you shall meet your family. The last sin of yours would be counted for and you shall join them.... In Hell!"
