Tales of Asura (FF Version)

So I keep making stories that I keep dropping, rewriting, or putting on hiatus forever. And that is partially my fault. So now I am making this my own Skeleton Crew or One Thousand and One Arabian Nights or Black Mirror. Oh yeah, it is called an anthology. A collection of short stories and one-shots. This is the fanfiction one and there is also an original story one. If you enjoy the stories and want longer versions, comment. I just might make it happen. But don't expect anything longer than 20 chapters unless I get really inspired.

Arrival and Shock

"Are we really about to go there? I have a feeling that nothing but a lecture and trouble awaits us," Jason said as he and his two companions flew in a bat-shaped jet towards the Watchtower.

"We are already here. We may as well introduce ourselves. Better to have them think of us as suspicious allies than evil clones. If Ivo has done something similar in this universe, we better be safe than sorry," Lara said.

"I agree with Jason. It is better to watch for a while more to learn more about this world," Helena said.

"Well, I'm the leader so what I say goes," Lara said as she looked at her two close friends in exasperation. Each of them was stubborn and paranoid.

Helena looked at Jason silently while he returned the look. The pair of them chuckled before looking forward once more. They were rapidly approaching their target.

As they were approaching the tower, the trio could feel the looks cast upon them from within. It was obvious that the people inside knew they were coming but the trio did nothing to try and hide their arrival.

The Batjet approached the hanger bays which were already open for them. The jet entered without any trouble but before it could even land, a couple of dozen people in various costumes stood outside of it. Each of them looked weary with their weapons and powers prepared to take on whoever exited the jet if they showed any hints of hostility.

"And you said that this would be a boring day, Robin. Someone managed to steal the Batjet before using it to come to the Watchtower. How on earth is that a boring day?" Nightwing asked the newest Robin with a playful smile on his face.

Robin, and several other sidekicks, looked at Nightwing who could joke at such a time with a weird look in their eyes. Even in such unique circumstances, he could be positive.

'This person or people stole the Batjet before bringing it before us in the Watchtower where all the heroes are. Either they are confident or very stupid. And neither is good in this case,' many of the young heroes thought along these lines.

Most of the older and more experienced heroes did not mind though. They were prepared for any circumstances that could occur ad were especially confident with so many heroes around them.

The jet soon landed before it opened up. 3 figures flew out of it but when everyone saw who they were, the people were shocked.

One of them was a girl with short black hair and blue eyes. She looked to be about 18 and was extremely beautiful. The smile on her face could make most feel calm and at peace, as if everything would be fine. The part that shocked them the most was what she was wearing. A skintight blue suit with a red cape and matching thigh-high boots on. On her chest was a very familiar S symbol that two other people in the hanger were wearing.

Flying next to her was another girl. At least that is what most would think from the curves of her body. She wore a skintight, black suit that resembled a bat while using jets to make herself fly. On her chest was a large, purple bat symbol.

The last of the trio was a young man that also had black hair and blue eyes like the first girl but that is where their similarities ended. Compared to her pale skin, he had a nice olive-colored skin tone. He also had sharper features that made him look naturally aggressive even if he was calm at the moment. He wore a skintight, sleeveless leotard that was black. On the left and right sides of the leotard were 6 silver stars. He wore silver accessories that included a pair of bracers, boots, a lasso, and a crown. On his back was a xiphos sword.

The others present were shocked because each member of the trio resembled one of the heroes present. The three members of the Trinity to be specific. Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman looked at the three standing before them with wariness.

[Conner? Is she another...] Me'gann spoke to Superboy and the other members of the team telepathically as she asked this question.

What she wanted to ask was if they were clones like he was but did not know if it was appropriate or not. Superboy got the hint though.

[I... I don't know. I don't remember her being there or have any memories of there being another clone.] Superboy replied honestly.

[That's true but you also had no memories of the two Roy clones so we can't be too sure about that] Kid Flash said which earned him a punch and glare from Artemis.

The others also shot him glares. Kid Flash raised up his hands in surrender and sent a telepathic apology to Superboy.

[Artemis is so going to make me sleep on the couch tonight. Maybe if I give her one of those foot massages that she loves I can...]

[Wally!] Artemis yelled at him. It was only then that Kid Flash remembered he was still on the telepathic network.

While Kid Flash was sending another round of apologies, Kara decided to introduce her and the other two.

"Hey, everyone," she said with a smile and a wave.

Superman flew over and approached the girl with caution and anger in his voice.

"Who are you? Are you here for a fight or to just mess with our heads?" Superman asked.

Lara still kept the smile on her face even though she was being interrogated. Her two friends were different however and did not like the tone that was being used.

Jason started looking at the heroes around them and trying to figure out how many he could take down before Wonder Woman could stop him. Helena was looking for an escape route or to see which hero to take as a hostage to make their escape easier.

Lara knew she had to introduce herself before her two friends started a fight. While they were some of the smartest people she knew, especially Helena, they were also two very protective friends.

"I am Supergirl. But my father and mother have given me the name, Lara Lane-Kent," she said to the shock of all the other heroes around them.

"I am your daughter. I'm also pretty sure you know who my mother is from the name."

The words shocked Superman to his core. He looked at the girl in front of him and saw how she resembled both Lois and himself. She had his smile and eyes while getting her mother's dimples and nose.

"To my right is one of my best friends, Huntress. She thought Batwoman, Batgirl, and Batman were too boring of titles to get. The name her parents gave her was Helena Wayne. She is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle.

To my left is my other best friend, Argo. He also goes by Jason of Themyscira. He is the one and only prince of Themyscira and the son of Diana of Themyscira."

With each introduction, the shock and surprise that the heroes felt were immense. They had never imagined that they would come across such a scene. And none of them could feel that any of the three were not who they truly were.

Lara had the aura of heroism and awe-inspiring hope that Superman did. Helena gave off the same dark aura that Batman did while Jason and Wonder Woman both gave the feelings of warriors that would fight against armies for what they believed in.

Knowing that they had surprised everyone and it would not end so easily, Lara made a suggestion.

"Why don't we all head in and sit down. I'm sure we have a lot to talk about."

The others nodded. Under the lead of Batman, the other heroes surrounded the trio of mysterious origin as they went into the inner parts of the Watchtower where the interrogations, inquiries, and tests would be done.
