Tales of a Reincarnated in TDG

Synopsis: A young man from the modern world happened to find a book titled - Demon Devouring the World - in an old box in his rented house. Without thinking too much, he picked it up to take a look, thinking it was a fantasy book like the ones he was used to reading in his spare time. However, as he opened the book, an extremely sharp page cut his finger causing his blood to touch the book in his hand. When this happened, a red glow lit up from the first page in the book causing the young man to close his eyes at first. However, when he opened his eyes again, the book was no longer in his hands, and he was also no longer in his house, all he saw was a dark cave full of bones and pieces of cloth torn on the floor!

"W-what happened, where am I?" A young man who was lying inside a cave suddenly woke up.

"Aaah!" - "What the hell is going on?" He exclaimed as he saw several bones of people lying next to him.

"Wait… Hell? Yes! I was about to read a book about demons when a bloody glow came out of the book and…." The young man said as he tried to get away from the dead bodies on the ground.

"Does that.. Does it feel like I've transmigrated to another world? ..But that should be impossible! There's no way something like this can happen in reality…." When he was thinking about it, several unknown memories started to invade his mind all of a sudden. It looked like the young man was watching a movie about someone's life.

To him the film seemed both known and unknown at the same time.

"So it's really like I thought… My soul is now in someone else's body!" The young man muttered in disbelief. As he thought about what was happening, his legs went weak as he started to fall to the ground.

With the instinct of his body, the young man quickly put his hands forward so as not to hit his head on the ground.

"Baque!"

The young man fell but managed to protect his body with his hands. However, when the young man saw where his hands were, his face immediately turned pale with fear. His hands landed on top of several bones that looked like someone's ribs! When the young man tried to take his hands out of there, suddenly his hands glowed red like the book before and covered the bones he was holding…

"Demon Devouring The World!"

When the young man saw this glow again, a mysterious voice rang in his mind. After that, a wave of hot energy flowed from his hands that were on the bones and made their way to his 'stomach' leaving the young man amazed at the situation he was in.

"Bang!" An explosion suddenly sounded from within the young man's body as if something had broken.

"Bronze of a Star!" Zhou Feng unconsciously muttered.

This young man was Qing Yan! He lived in a town a few kilometers from this cave for twelve years. When the talent test was held in the city, Qing Yan was said to have no talent to be a Demon Spiritualist! Since then, everyone he knew walked away from him because they thought he had no future. Feeling useless for being like that, Qing Yan left his city looking for some treasure that could allow him to walk the path to immortality.

However, along the way he was attacked by a ferocious beast!

With several bloody bruises all over his body, the young man found this cave and sat down to try to recover. Unfortunately, he still died from losing so much blood which allowed Zhou Feng to take over his body.

"So Qing Yan was an orphan! No wonder he felt so bad when he was told he couldn't cultivate…" Zhou Feng muttered. But he didn't realize that his mentality was undergoing a transformation as the unknown memories were being digested by his body.

"But where are the wounds made by that beast?" He wondered as he looked at her body. His body was pale without any blemishes or scars that should have been there from being attacked and wounded.

"Well, first I must find a way out of here!"

Thinking about it, Zhou Feng walked to the cave entrance. But he soon stopped his passes as he looked at the fallen bones on the floor.

'Will this work again?'

Falling into deep thought, Zhou Feng walked over to the nearest pile of bones before carefully placing his hands on it…

And just as he imagined, a glow flared up again in his hands before the pile of bones disappeared amidst the glow of his hands. When that happened, another wave of energy surged through his body and flowed towards his dantian.

"So that's it!… I can absorb the remaining energies that are in these corpses. It also allows me to advance in my cultivation and compensate for this body's lack of talent…" Zhou Feng thought about this possibility.

Crossing himself on the floor, he began to follow the path of the energies in his body and control it to go faster. All of this was done unconsciously, as if his body was acting on its own.

"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"

Three thunderous sounds came from within his body at once indicating that he had broken three more small realms, and reached the Bronze Rank of Four Stars.

Finding out about this, Zhou Feng spent the rest of the night absorbing all the bones present in the cave! And it finally reached the Bronze Rank of Five Stars one step away from the Silver Rank!

Zhou Feng also discovered several storage rings on the finger of various bones. These rings had various spirit stones, demonic coins, tools, pills and elixirs. There were also other items that he had never seen in this world but seemed precious, so he kept them in another ring that was made like a necklace and placed it around his neck. But all consumables were spoiled as it was unknown how long these items had been there.

"Hehe, looks like my luck in this world is pretty good as I won't have to worry about money for quite some time." Zhou Feng laughed happily. But he didn't realize that in just one night his mindset had changed a lot. As if he was neither himself nor Qing Yan anymore.

Storing all the other items in a ring with the largest space, Zhou Feng took advantage and pulled out a brown colored Robe that looked like the most ordinary of clothes and put it on. So, after taking one last look at the cave and seeing that there was nothing of interest left, he started walking outside.

Leaving the cave, he closed his eyes for a few seconds to get used to the change in light.

"I'm finally out. I don't know how long my predecessor died in there, but I think it shouldn't be too long…" He muttered to himself as he walked.

The cave he was in was in the middle of several giant trees and was also camouflaged by various weeds that had grown over the years. So it was difficult for anyone to discover her. Zhou Feng only discovered it because he thought it was a wall and tried to break it with the force of his body when he was running away from that beast.

"Well, let's go to the city I left first! There must be some information on how long it's been since I left!"

With this thought in mind, Zhou Feng quickened his steps and started to run in the direction he had left for who knows how many years ago.
