Uncovering more lies

As I get ready for work the man from yesterday shows up in my room. He insists that he stays with me to protect me.

After I finish getting ready I head out and he follows me.

"Who are you?"

" My name is William one of the top guards of the angel side of the royal family." He says as he bows again.

I shake he dramatics off and finish getting to work. When we get there he gives my boss a dirty look.

"Apollo why were you and your siblings sent here if you were not going to find and protect your older brother, the heir?" He says to my boss? brother?

Apollo looks at him with a look of shame. "He hadn't unlocked his magic so I thought that nothing would come after him yet."

"But something did, a demon. What would have happened if I wasn't there, hmm? He likely would have died and we would have lost our first Prince and heir. Your parents will be very unhappy with your incompetence."

I try to collect my thoughts as I listen to the whirlwind conversation that is happening in front of me. My boss is my brother, I have other siblings, my birthparents are alive and looking for me, I am not human, I have magic and I am a prince and heir. It is all too much to process.
