Chapter 2

Austin layed back on his bed facing up,he could hear his parents arguing again and as usual he was the topic of their fight, he couldn't understand why his father always liked arguing with his mom due to him,he decided to lay back and get some sleep after all he had school the next day but their arguments just wouldn't let him sleep, having had enough of their drama he decided to take a stroll even though it was late at night, after all it was his normal routine, he put on his sneakers, wore his hoodie and wore his headphones, he jumped out his window and began strolling at night, he played soft music with the volume low. He glanced up at the sky and saw it was a full moon, he didn't know why but he always felt calm when the moon Grace's his skin. He began taking a walk with no destination in mind, he knew he just wanted to get away from his parents constant bickering, it didn't do him any good that they constantly fought and it was even worse knowing he was the cause of it, as he was immersed in his thoughts, he heard a rustle in the Bush and was brought back to reality, he looked around and was surprised to find himself deep in the woods, how did he get here?, he was confused and decided to go back home when he saw two figures fighting, he approached them and wanted to stop their fight when one of them sighted him, the look in the man's eyes was dangerous and he turned to flee but the same man was suddenly behind him in the blink of an eye, he was surprised and thought he was imagining things, he wanted to run but the man held him close and said "Talroth, now that I have a fresh human victim,I'll drink his blood and I shall defeat you in this battle".Austin ho was being held hostage didn't understand what the man meant,he thought he was hallucinating but the pain of the man's grip on his neck told him otherwise, before he knew what was happening, the man bit him and he wondered what happened to the man who was called Talroth, he tried to glance around to look at the man for help but to his surprised, the man was no longer there, he felt dizzy and lost his consciousness, as he fell to the ground he heard the two men conversing before finally falling into a deep sleep "Talroth,the battle has just begun,I was lucky enough to drink the blood of a divine being but it seems he hasn't unlocked his powers, but never mind, I'll be able to defeat you now" The man called Talroth simply replied "Raphael, this is a not over,even with the blood of a divine being you are no match for me and your time is almost up, for the sake of this human whom I must save as duty demands, i will let you free.....for now but don't take that as a weakness". Austin didn't know how he was able to hear all that but he soon fell into a deep sleep, the next thing he knew he was lying in bed and his alarm rang, he woke up with a start and began wondering if he had a dream but the clothing he had on said otherwise.
