Tears of the helpless and the cries of the suppressed.

...
Death, birth, and life mutually lining against each other.
But if there's one thing in common then it's the will to take the next step.
Every beginning has an end and every end has a beginning.
Death is certain but life is not. Birth is certain but once again life is not.
Take control of it. Be it now or in the future, there are things you must do, things you have yet to gain, things you are ought to know and things you are denied from.
Wake up!!!!!!!
Wake up!!!!!!!
WAKE UP!!!!!!
...
I woke up gasping for air. I could hear the birds chirping and could feel the fresh atmospheric cool air.
I gently tucked out of my blankets and head towards the window. A familiar scene greeted me. The huge maple tree and the rays of sun greeting my face.
Drip, Drip,
My sweat fell on the wooden floor staining it a bit.
'That dream!, what was that?? It definitely was my voice. Well the previous voice of mine. Things I ought to know, is what It said'
'What is this? Why do I feel nostalgic. Is the previous me still lingering around. Why....why do I feel so casual.??',
Lot of questions began arising in my mind. Majorly it was about this dream of mine.
I could tell that this was no ordinary dream. Nevertheless this was not the time.
'Slowly, one by one I will uncover everything. It might take time but surely'
I quickly wore my training boots and head towards the broken inn behind our building.
After a long gap I finally saw my esteemed teacher. She still looked barbarically beautiful but there was one major difference.
Her eyes were tired. I could observe her black spots and the unhinged expression she was giving, different from her usual optimistic self.
"Been a while huh, so how's your progress, I'm sorry I couldn't keep up to date with your practice, but I hope you didn't miss out on any." She said with a weak smile.
"Forget about me, you definitely missed out on sleep.",
"Hehe, cheeky brat. OK fine today I'll teach you how to control your wind affinity. But before that let's have a quick spar", she said tossing me the pair of scimitars on her hands.
'Looks like she had it planned out already!! Interesting!!' I smirked.
For some reason I found it amusing, it was exiting me.
She drew her twin Khopesh blades out. The bent metal with its razor sharp ends made it one of the best weapons for sneak kills and assainations but Nara was more the brute type.
Yeah!! Never understood her choice of weapon or her choice of profession.
We both were using wooden weapons but for obvious reasons my heartbeats were crazy.
I quickly warmed up, did a few stretches, high jumps and push-ups.
I slashed my weapon a few times until finally taking my stance.
The area was relatively huge for an abandoned house which made me ponder about this places' origin story.
Nara just held a simple stand and posed a blatant look on her face.
Although she didn't mean to do it and it was just her tired face, it still kind off made me feel like I was being taken lightly.
Swish, swoof,
I quickly dashed forward without wasting much time. She wasn't making any move and I knew she wouldn't make the first move either. So I just took the initiative.
With a swift run, I danced my way through the gushing wind and spun my back with a slight tilt, thrashing the blades towards her legs.
She evaded the attack with a block from her blade and used the other blade bind my neck in the curved part of it.
I quickly duck my head downward and went in for a lower calf kick.
She leaped up in the air, and greeted my stomach with a upper cut.
Aghh,
The impact sent me up in the air, rendering me defenseless.
But using this situation, I spun mid air slashing my blade towards her face.
Clash, clash, clash,....
Our blades collided with each other. She was definitely overpowering me but that doesn't mean I was a let out.
I kept countering her attacks with my blades. Dodging whenever I can. I couldn't land a hit and was taking quite the beating but that didn't stop me from my next barrage of attacks.
As she kept swinging her blades at me right and left I quickly positioned myself that she couldn't slash me unless she kicks my body back up, using this chance I dived straight into her thighs and kicked her lower abdomen, surprised by my actions and no time to dodge, she took it head on.
There wasn't much damage but there was a slight delay which was enough for me.
I quickly slashed both my blades into an X catching her off guard.
Without stopping there, I positioned my left blade right towards her eyes, thrusting at an impeccable speed.
Thadang,
She countered it by blocking it with both her swords, expecting this I swung my right blades all the way from the back off my chest, the sheer force and momentum cut through her hair slightly bruising her.
Dazed by such development she slightly grinned and threw a straight punch right at my face knocking me out black.
"That was impressive brat, well done. Iam a very good teacher hahahaha" she laughed as my visioned blackened.
______________
'Aughh'
I woke up with a slight headache. I was greeted with the familiar run down ceiling, indicating that I was still in the abandoned house.
"Woke up huh!! That was quite the movement brat" Nara said patting my back.
She also wearing a casual cotton shirt and a brown pant different from her armory.
Her eyepatch made her look scary but on the whole she was a beautiful woman.
"What are you staring at??",
"...",
"Heeh, be grateful Roy. Not many people get to see me like this" she said with a proud expression.
"...Yeah like a bear",
Bang,
She banged my head with her fist while sipping on her coffee.
"So when do we start??",
"Right after I finish my coffee", she said conjuring a small wind in her palms.
Finally I was going to learn to master my elements.
It was going to be a long day alright.....
