Prologue

"Look at her"

"Yea, she is beautiful"

"Isn't that Emma from class B-1?"

"Yea, I have seen her at school, but what is she doing here with a guy?"

"Now that i think about it, who is that guy, that sitting in front of her?"

"Don't know, he is too plain looking to be her boyfriend"

Inside the school library peoples are constantly chattering about a duo sitting. Every ones gaze on a girl name Emma, who is sitting while reading a book.

Her gorgeous figure with dirt brown hair, which fell down her shoulders and her calm face, with her respecting brown eyes ware like fairy fallen form heaven.

She is boundlessly reading a book, and sometime write something down on her notebook.

Amidst of that there was a particulate guy who is sitting in front of her, he has plain looks, Black hair and blue eyes. He is the most out of place person out of two.

'Like hell it is'

'I was peacefully sitting and reading some historical records for my upcoming exams, and because i have the top rank in my class, she came out of nowhere and asked me to help her with some study'

I said with a frustrated look.

This girl is Emma Alter, she has good grades and good looks, and her family also rich, and some says that she even have a fiance. She is a perfect young lady, but looking at the surroundings i shouldn't have helped her.

My gloomy personality is ruining, I am Arce Black an introvert, I know its a disappointing but its not like i don't want any friends but its a problem with my physiology, i am bad at starting conversation, and for that most of the time i stayed alone.

My family only had 4 members me include. But it has reduce to 2, couple of years ago my parents gone missing in a plane crash, and from then me and my sister living on our own.

Thinking about them just sadden the mood.

Looking at Emma i turn my gaze to the surroundings. Everyone is still looking at us like a wolf is looking at its pray.

'I have to get out of this situation quickly' i crushed inwardly

After an long hour, Emma got up with a smile.

"OK, classmate Arce its my deadline, i have to go"

In response i nodded with a smile. But if i know what the consequences will be before hand, i should not have done it.

Emma don't stay there and left quickly. Looking at her back leaving the library, I gave a indifferent look.

Fuuu

A long breath relived form my mouth.

'Finally, some peace. But i am kinda sad, its feel like i have been used'

I stayed at the library for another half and hour before leaving.

Outside the school building, there's road leading to the main part of the city and the other taking to the localize areas, where i am going.

My house is almost 20 min walk from school, and i prefer it like that. I usually study all day so i hardly get time to work out, and walking is good for health.

"Hey you, is your name Arce Black?"

Wile i was walking home and thinking about my interaction with Emma, I heard a male voice.

Looking behind i saw 4 guys wearing the same uniform as me. With a confused look i reply.

"Yes?"

Slightly tilting my head i was trying to grasp the situation, but at that moment i saw something flew in front of me clashing into my face.

"Ahaa!!"

A grown escape from my mouth before falling on the ground and getting a but smack.

"Argh!"

Groaning in pain i slowly looked at the 4 with a confused look.

But suddenly a kick come from my side and landed on my left side abdominal area.

"Ahh"

"Boss what should we do about this fucker?" Hey Ralf, what should we do with this fucker?

"Beat him up, or what. Boss said he will handle everything" The guy in the middle said.

"Wh...Why?"

Looking at them with my corner of my eyes, i said. It was too sudden, some guys came and started beating my out of nowhere.

'And i thought this day, isn't going to be any more troublesome' i speak inwardly.

Hearing my question the four looked at me with there eyes widen. In there eyes there is nothing, its like they are looking at an ant.

"What did you say?" the group leader said with a frown on his forehead, his face is giving an angry look.

Again some kicks landed on me. I cant do anything but just to endure it, they are strong.

The beating lasted for an entire hour before the guys let go of my body. Right now we are inside a narrow alleyway.

"Shit, fuck this guy is though what is he made off?" the leader said while cleaning the sweat from his forehead.

They though i would last for a couple of minutes but the beating stretch out this long.

Looking at my injured body they started laughing.

Spiting on my face one of the guy grabbed my chin and raised my head to looked at it.

I also stared at him with an half unconscious look.

Slap slap

"You know fucker, it wouldn't happened if you stay away form our boss's wife" the guy said while slapping my cheeks with a emotionless look.

'Wife?, what wife?' Hearing his statement i tried to recollect my memories, with the last bit of consciousness that i have left.

"...w...i...Wife?" i asked with a shaky voice, i have already loose hope, that someone is going to come here and help me. And my body is dire need of treatment, I can feel my flame of life is its verge of decaying.

Slap

"Don't pretend you don't know" he said.

"Stop, he is still confused after getting beaten up for so long, lets just say we are granting him his last wish" the group leader said with a smug face.

"We are send by boss Kevin, he is the son of the top real state business man" He further added before a short pause "And for your beating, you have been interacting with our bosses wife miss Emma"

'Oh so that what it is' strings of emotions started running through my mind. I gritted my teeth before lowering my gaze.

Di Di

A phone ring rang throughout the alleyway.

One of the guys bring out a phone and accept the call.

"...Yes boss, Yes we have beaten him up... (hearing something his face frown a little), But boss... ok"

"Guys, lets go back, boss is calling us"

"What will we do about him?" one of the guy asked

Looking at me he said "Leave him be"

Giving me one last kick the guys left.

"Argh"

A grown with pain allover my body. Some of my bones ware broken, including my ribs. blood is covering all of my body and a fetal wound ran through the back of my had.

Looking at my dire situation i smiled a little before in turn into a twitched.

'Why? Why why?...'

With warm tears falling from my eyes, memories started rolling through my mind.

Rumble Crack

Drip Drip

Rain started falling continued with the sound of lightning cracking. Cooling my body up to a notch.

'What a timing' I said inwardly.

'Am i that desperate to die in a place like this?'

'Although it was a boring life i liked how it was, i just have only one regret in my last time i cant protect Anna'

With my body getting cold i started to lose the last long hope that i had. My consciousness is fading.

'If there is something called reincarnation, then i would want to be born in a fantasy world, like those novel characters'

But at that time i felt my consciousness narrowing.

'So its time, What can i do. this was a shitty life'

Those are the last words my mind produce before my consciousness leave me, Leaving my body out cold.

"Fu fu, What a show"

A couple of minute after Arce's consciousness leaved his body, a voice resound the whole area continued with a footstep sound.

Step Step

Before standing in front of Arce a figure looked at him.

The figures whole body was covered in black smoke, only its eyes ware glowing in white without any pupils.

Drip Drip

Looking at the falling rain the figure's face twitched.

"What a troublesome thing" He said before flicking his finger.

Click

With a clicking sound the rain slows down and started levitating midair, Like with a flick the time itself has stopped, not wanting to resume again.

Staring at the frozen rain drops the figure grin sisterly. "Now its more like it"

Then he stared at Arce for a while before twitching again.

"What a pity"

Crouching near Arce's face the figure started scanning his lifeless body.

"After so long, and you are still making me clean after your mess" the figure said with a straight face.

-sigh

"Its not like i don't like it, Its just i am getting bored at it" the figure shrugged.

Looking at Arce with the corner of his eyes his face brighten up with sinister grin.

"But that's why i am here"

Weaving his hand, a small white transparent orb appeared in front of him.

"Show me something interesting this time"

Saying the figure Started laughing with a sinister voice before he left with the orb.

"Where am i?"

Slowly opening my eyes i was presented with a clear sky.

"Argh"

With a slight itching in my body, i slowly got up and started looking around.

"What is this place?"

In front of me there was a small open grassy land, with a cliff going down on the edge of it.

Behind me there is a jungle made of thick thorns.

On the ledge of the cliff there was a big tree, with red leafs and a trunk made of a dark colored wood.

With the falling leafs and the sunlight the seen is like a paradise from a myth.

I got flabbergasted looking at me surroundings.

"WOW, What is this place? Is it the so cold afterlife?"

After some praising i slowly started to head to the tree. The tree was big as tall as a small two story building.

With its trunk curving upwards it has a small place for climbing.

But when I was about to climb on it, i felt a chill ran through my body. I quickly backed away, But because of the human instinct I ended up falling on the ground.

In an blink of an eye the surroundings changed. Sky turned red with a red moon on the sky. the grassy land turned into a wasteland with cracks all over it. And the tree, its surroundings covered in flames, with the leafs also making the tree a burning torch.

I got surprise and looked at my surroundings with horror, only to see i was surrounded by flames.

"Wh..."

Crack

At that time a cracking sound filled the whole area. It was so loud, it can be heard from thousands of miles away.

I unconsciously covered my ears with my palm.

With constant sound of cracking, i was feeling like something is breaking my eardrum.

'...'

But soon after the sound suddenly stopped, and silence filled the whole area.

'Why its stopped?...'

But when i was about to finish my thought i felt a ominous feeling, which is telling me to looked up.

-gulp

Swallowing a mouthful of saliva i slowly turned my head to looked at the sky. My hart stopped seeing the thing in the sky.

My face filled with an unimaginable fear, My whole body started shooking, But for some reason something is forcing me to keep looking.

"...Wh...What... is... That?" I said with a shaky voice filled with terror.

In the sky, there was a giant crack, some of the fragment of space can be seen floating around the crack. Inside the cracked there was a existence which cant be described by words.

A huge eye like object. With its ring like pupil the red eye is looking at the land like a supreme existence, which looked over the world like its filled with ants.

My mouth open but nothing came out afterwards. My mind and body is telling me only one thing. 'Danger'

But unconsciously my eyes blinked and the crack vanished with the eye, Like it was never their. leaving the red moon on the sky alone.

Surroundings change, but my body stayed unfazed. Soon after with a soft wave of wind passed by my mind making me calm a little.

I got out from my Daze and looked at the surroundings.

Nothing

It was the same as before but without the Eye and the Crack.

Hup Hup

With a heavy breathing i started gasping for air.

"..."

But when i was busy taking breath a unknown sound came from the tree's direction.

I was afraid but still somehow manage to looked at the place, but again my mind filled with shock and fear.

Beside the tree there is standing a existence covered in black. It has white eyes, like it can devour anything, Like looking at it can made you forgot everything and want to destroy everything.

It was a ominous feeling that will make any human go crazy. My mind instantly stopped working, I stared at the figure with a blank look, Nothing came out from my mouth, not any mussel of me body move. For a moment, i felt like blood flow also stopped.

"Hahahah"

But the next moment the existent gave a sinister smile, Opening its mouth i can see the same white glow from before, like it was made from the void and the black smoke is a mare cover.

The figure extended his hand and a small ball of light magically appeared on its palm. At that time i was too shocked to even think properly, I just keep on staring at the figure and let him do what he is doing.

Swish

But the next thing that happened, shocked my whole body, The spare which was on that figures palm, suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of my eyes.

Without giving my anytime to react the orb flew inside my head through my skin.

A serge of pain ran through my head and i felt like collapsing.

A moment later my consciousness cut off, and i got surrounded by darkness.

i know that the prologue needs some grammar check, and i am too tired to do it now, it will be fixed before the next chapter update, which will be tomorrow.
