The Hurricane Arkhawk then soared into the air, into the central area of the Skyhawks without any fear. Instead of showing fear, gusts of wind envelops him which is then followed by strong blasts of wind that circles around him, the wind taking on the form of a majestic phantom of himself.
"What the hell is that thing?" All the soldiers present including the commanders and strategists thought to themselves. The strategists may have been working in the background all this time, but it was also them who took on the secondary role of minor healers while planning out the routes and rations. Their job and presence was indispensable to the success of this expenditure.
"Don't worry, that's my contract beast." Nightin assured everyone as they turned their head towards him, their eyes full of reverence for him. He is the youngest among here, yet he has the highest authority, his strength was unmatched despite having the lowest cultivation base and now he also has a contract beast which strength possibly exceeds their combined strength.
In the air, the surroundings Skyhawks tried to encircle the Arkhawk by flying around in a pattern to trap him inside. If it was any other aerial enemy, they would have already been left helpless in such a situation, but the Arkhawk merely waited for all of them to dive in at the same time before spreading its wings wide open, the sudden gust of dominating wind sending them flying back.
The strength difference wasn't even worth mentioning, a flock of Skyhaws at the late stage Demon Emperor stage were being dominated by another aerial species who was much younger than them with just cultivation base suppression when they're supposed to be the king of the skies.
They weren't losing just because of the cultivation difference, but because of the pressure of the Arkhawk bloodline as well. It was pure compared to them who only inherited it from their forefathers. it was one that was noble and majestic, one that makes others unable to defies its will that they were up against. To make things worse, they could sense that the blood within their body was trying to tell that that comparison isn't possible, the difference between them is just way too much.
"I'm sure all of you here understand the human language, your flock has been staying here for quite some time and after tens of years spent observing humans, you ought to have picked up their language with the unmatchable comprehension skills that your species possess. How about this, join me on my journey to discover the future between humanity and the race of birds." The Arkhawk speaking in human language greatly shocked everyone present, did a bird just pick up the human language by itself?
It may be quite a simple task for them humans, but getting other races to learn will be akin to asking them to attempt another way of cultivation for themselves, it wasn't a simple task. As for what happens next, the unbelievable still happens before their eyes.
"Does it matter? I just want to live here with my race in peace and as for why we attacked, it's to protect our own species. What if these humans actually leak out our information and form up an army to attack us? As the leader, I can't afford to take the risk." Another Skyhawk descended from the sky, its size was close to double of the others of its kind and on his head, was an angel wing shaped halo.
"It doesn't matter, I have requested for you to come along with me no matter what the consequences are, or are you going to break the taboo between the animal kingdom to never harm someone from their race or species unless necessary."
"But it doesn't and won't ever forbid us from refusing to follow other races and that rule will never take place, the three divine bird species have already decided that this rule is still a must or other races can use this fact to their advantage." The Skyhawk bird leader replies sharply without sparing the Arkhawk any face.
"Are you asking for a fight right here and now? Some bird who has been cultivating for hundreds of years is wanting to challenge another bird who has only been cultivating for about three to four years? Don't you find this action of yours disgraceful?"
"It doesn't matter here when it's the bloodline of the king in my species is being threatened. If you can defeat me when my cultivation is at the late stage Demon Saint realm, then I'll accept defeat without any qualms since I deserve it for being weak."
"You'll regret this decision of yours soon enough because the fate of this battle has already been sealed from the beginning." The Arkhawk screeches as blades of wind spiralled towards the Skyhawk eagle who raised a wall of wind as both attacks neutralised each other.
"As expected from the leader of the Skyhawks, but there's no way that any of you can step into the Great Saint realm at this rate. You may have superior combat strength in terms of aerial combat, but that's as much as your species can do. Right now, I bet on my species that I'll ensure that at least one of your descendents or everyone here gets the chance to break the shackles of bloodline dillulation and fully awaken your bloodline."
"Just why are you doing this?" The Skyhawk screeches in fury and confusion as sharp razor blades of wind surrounds him as his body dashed forwards without fear.
"Snap out of it!" With just one screech, the Arkhawk commanded the Skyhawk to cease his actions.
"Just what have you done to me? Just what is it that you expect from me?" The Skyhawk asks as it backs off, afraid that it might be forced to obey and follow someone's orders from now on.
"You're the leader of the Skyhawks around this area?" Nightin stands out and asks with a smile.
"So what if I am? Filthy humans like you aren't qualified to lead me even if you have higher cultivation talent!" The Skyhawk didn't return Nightin's politelessness, but attacked fiercely without holding back. Receiving a death stare from the Arkhawk, it merely flinched for a moment before ignoring it.
"And you're only saying that because you're too used to being king and unable to accept the fact that the Exotic beast realm is outside of your reach, it's something you'll never see in this lifetime unless you receive external help. Follow me, I'm confident enough to help you." Nightin continued to persuade the Skyhawk, his confidence and determination confusing everyone present including Ash."
"Human, just what is it that you want from me?" The Skyhawk finally grew impatient and questioned back in a screeching voice, one full of indignation and the will to challenge the world."
"I need you to follow me, I have my own purposes, but I need a total of eight aerial species to be following me, seven on the land and four to dominate the oceans." Nightin states, something that resembles a card holder appearing in his hand.
"Are you thinking of awakening the mystical spirit essence within yourself while opening it for us species at the same time? You should know that it's impossible unless you gain the recognition of a divine species for each territory!" The Skyhawk says coldly with a sinister smile, "Why don't you…"
"Is this enough?" Nightin says as he releases the burning flames of the phoenix within his body, the flame causing the Skyhawk and Arkhawk in the air to back off and keep as much distance from Nightin as possible.
"I'll put it straightforward with you two right now, I'm planning to go by the majors and minors path instead of the equality path. Now you know why I need you in, I need you to be in the role of the four minors while my contract beast will be ranked as a major alongside the four divine bird species."
"But that means that my whole species will be a slave of yours, as the leader, I'm afraid that I'll have to turn you down even if it means I might enter the exotic realm and the even higher legendary realm." The Skyhawk explains with its clear reason this time, not intending to hide the slightest information anymore.
"Very well, follow me and I'll promise you that your species will have freedom over your choices, if what your species want is to leave me anytime after this war, I'll let your species leave without any qualms. How about it?"
"Human, I hope that you'll stick to your words, or don't blame me for being heartless because everything I do is in the best interest of my species. Afterall, the promise you've just made about awakening the mystical spirit ring is near impossible and has never been achieved.
