"Bring it on, Princess Abigail.." Johnathan inquired, his voice becoming distorted making him sound exactly like a beast.

"What is that!?" Rai exclaimed, he had never witnessed such levels of essence before and this sent a very cold chill down his spine.

"It is! It is! It's the ultimate technique of prince Johnathan! The technique he used to single handedly defeat the paradoxes! It is his Dark Phoenix King mode!" Ford lamented, it was a rare technique to witness as it was not always used by Johnathan.

"Dark..Phoenix King mode?" Rai stuttered.

"Dark Phoenix King mode, it is the ultimate technique of prince Johnathan. Like Ford said, the Nilecrest kingdom and Ronowa empire are both rivals with each royal family carrying the kingdoms. Just like how princess Abigail honed her abilities to the peak, Johnathan did and he achieved the ultimate technique."

Rai was left flabbergasted, the time Abigail approached him he felt nothing from her. He assumed that he was unable to because his body was still adapting to his essence.

However, he start having second thoughts the moment he perceived from his seat the frightening essence that engulfed the body of Johnathan.

Abigail could only stare at Johnathan with amazement, she had never seen anyone who possessed a higher essence level than her till now. However it didn't make her cower in fear, it made her even more thrilled to be matched up with him.

"Now then." With his distorted voice, Johnathan uttered softly.

He propelled himself forward at her, he moved so fast that he appeared like a blur in the eyes of others. He aimed a strike directly to the chest of Abigail as he didn't plan on holding back any more longer.

At the last second, Abigail was barely able to dodge it causing the sharp claws of Johnathan to graze her arm. She immediately realized the difference in speed between his Phoenix king mode and his base speed.

"Looks like I'll have to kick things up a notch." She said within her thoughts as she immediately went on the counteroffensive and aimed her blade directly at the abdomen of Johnathan.

Without adding that much effort, he caught the swift blade of Abigail. Finding it pointless to marvel at his speed, she proceeded with a kick which he effortlessly dodged as well.

Soon after, they began exchanging a series of kicks and blows with Johnathan attacks being slight faster and sharper than Abigail's.

"Abigail's now on the defensive! What a surprising twist! Is this it for Abigail!?" Ford exclaimed as the participants and the prince along with his father watched on.

Exploiting an opening Abigail created while attempting to strike him, Johnathan quickly grabbed her forehead with his right hand and threw her backwards swiftly.

She crashed into the ground and rolled several times before coming to a halt, the participants who were of the Ronowa empire gasped witnessing Abigail going down for the first time in her life.

"Damn..it" As Abigail scoffed getting up to her feet, Johnathan had already appeared behind her which caused her to widen her eyes in shock as she couldn't sense his presence at all.

He delivered a swift kick to her back which propelled her forward off her feet.

Before she could even get a grasp of where she was, Johnathan who appeared in the path she flew in threw a swift punch with his dark claws which sent her through the ground. The ground beneath them was utterly destroyed from the sheer power of Johnathan sending Abigail ten meters into it.

Abigail coughed out blood as she tried to understand what happened.

"I-impossible.." She said within her thoughts as she struggled to get to her feet.

"I was in no way slower than him, I had him outclassed in speed so why? Why can't I sense him?" She asked within her thoughts as she got to her feet.

"It's simple." Johnathan with his distorted voice replied as if he knew exactly what she was thinking.

"The moment I so much as grazed you, it was already over. Haven't you realized it?" He asked.

Abigail scoffed. "Shut up!" She exclaimed as she thrusted herself forward at Johnathan wielding her blade tightly in her hand.

Before she could even reach Johnathan who she stared directly at, she felt a powerful blow to her stomach which forced her to eject saliva from her mouth and crashed into the ground.

"What's happening!?" One of the nobles exclaimed prompting the rest of the Ronowa empire nobles to support.

Ford remained speechless as he tried to understand what was going on, even the king was shocked to how Abigail was getting tossed around.

Abigail on the ground began pondering on what was happening. She realized that the more the fight progressed, the more she was unable to sense Johnathan.

Johnathan smiled before jamming his two hands together as he said in his distorted voice. "Witness, princess of the Ronowa empire, my true ability. Black Void..."

He said softly as darkness swiftly enveloped the entirety of Abigail. She couldn't see, hear or feel anything. It was as if she was trapped in a black hole.

"Like I told you, you lost this battle the moment I touched you. My [Black Void] shuts down all the five senses of anyone I touch rendering them unable to see, hear or feel anything. It was only half active as I did not fully use the technique, but now that it's in full operation.." Johnathan addressed as he dashed forward at the princess who couldn't even tell where he was coming from.

"Your through!" He exclaimed as he aimed his claws at her.

"Princess Abigail!" All the nobles exclaimed as it looked like the end for Abigail which it was undoubtedly.

"Hmph." Abigail scoffed softly as she fazed away from the sights of Johnathan the moment he approached her.

"What!?" He exclaimed in disbelief as he tried to understand how she dodged it. He looked behind his back and found her backing him as though she felt no need to worry about her defense.

He grunted as he dashed forward towards her sending a series of punches at her. Punch by punch she dodged everything just by tilting her body left and right with minimum effort.

At the last punch, she sent her right fist into his stomach. He coughed as he ejected saliva from his mouth and stepped back a little to regroup.

"How!?" He exclaimed with disbelief.

Abigail took a deep breath as an ominous orange light engulfed her entire body. She stared down at Johnathan who was rattled at how she could sense him.

"Abigail is still in it! She's still in it!" Ford exclaimed with excitement as the crowd cheered on for their princess.
