Talent Types, are decided into four main categories, physical enhancement, discharge, null and arcane:
1. Physical Enhancement
- Description: Abilities that enhance the user's physical attributes, making them stronger, faster, and more resilient.
- Examples:
- Acceleration: Users can move at incredible speeds, perform rapid movements, and dodge attacks with ease.
- Enhanced Strength: Grants users superhuman strength, allowing them to lift heavy objects, break through barriers, and deliver powerful blows.
- Regeneration: Provides rapid healing from injuries, regenerating lost limbs, and recovering from fatigue much faster than normal.
- Eagle Eyes: Enhances vision, allowing users to see over long distances, perceive minute details, and have night vision.
- Characteristics:
- Physical type talents directly enhance the user's body, improving their natural abilities.
- Users of physical type talents are often more durable and have longer lifespans compared to other talent types.
- These talents are highly valued in roles requiring physical prowess, such as guild clearing members and exploring teams.
2. Discharge
- Description: Abilities that allow users to generate and control various elements, which can be discharged or emitted in combat.
- Examples:
- Flames: Users can create and manipulate fire, launching fireballs, creating fire shields, and igniting their surroundings.
- Lightning: Grants the ability to generate and control electricity, allowing users to shoot lightning bolts, create electric fields, and paralyze opponents.
- Water: Users can control water in all its forms, creating water jets, manipulating ice, and summoning water barriers.
- Earth: Provides control over earth and minerals, enabling users to cause earthquakes, manipulate rocks, and create protective barriers.
- Wind: Allows manipulation of air currents, creating wind blasts, enhancing speed, and forming protective gusts.
- Characteristics:
- Discharge type talents utilize the user's mana to create and wield elemental forces.
- These talents are versatile and can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes.
- Users often undergo rigorous training to master the control of their respective elements.
3. Null
- Description: Abilities that manipulate fundamental cosmic principles, often lacking a clear elemental affinity.
- Examples:
- Space Control: Users can manipulate spatial dimensions, teleporting, creating spatial distortions, and manipulating distances.
- Mind Control: Grants the ability to influence and control thoughts, emotions, and actions of others, often used for persuasion or manipulation.
- Reality Control: Allows users to alter the fabric of reality, creating illusions, bending physical laws, and altering perceptions.
- Time Control(Very rare): Enables manipulation of time, such as slowing down or speeding up time, and in very rare cases, reversing or pausing it.
- Characteristics:
- Null type talents do not fit into a specific elemental category, making them unique and unpredictable.
- These talents often require deep concentration and a strong will to control.
- Null talent users are rare and often regarded with a mix of awe and fear due to their powerful abilities.
4. Arcane
- Description: Abilities that require the use of magical equipment to be activated and controlled.
- Examples:
- Summoners: Use magical artifacts to summon beings, objects, or energies to assist them in combat or other tasks.
- Enhancers: Utilize magical items to enhance their own abilities or those of others, such as boosting strength, speed, or magical power.
- Alchemists: Create potions, elixirs, and other magical substances that can heal, strengthen, or cause various effects.
- Blacksmiths: Craft and enchant weapons, armor, and other equipment, imbuing them with magical properties.
- Characteristics:
- Arcane type talents rely on external magical equipment, requiring users to acquire and maintain these items.
- These talents are often more flexible and can adapt to different situations depending on the equipment used.
- Users need extensive knowledge of magical artifacts and often have a deep understanding of magical theory and practice.
- More often than not one needs a huge start-up capital to go down these paths.
