Chapter 23: [It's Him]

Hearing Keiran's words, tension hung in the air.

Simultaneously both mothers turned their attention towards the third woman. 

Their penetrating gaze seemed capable of drilling holes into her very soul.. 

Wang Shu cursed the boy for his open mouth 

' This fucker boy just had to ramble his mouth and what's with that straight face, makes me wanna punch him. But those eyes… ughhh… i will enjoy corrupting you the most little boy.' she licked her lips once again thinking of how she will have her way with him.

There was something bugging her too, something inside her mind or heart told her that the boy might have done it on purpose. 

"Mrs. Wang, I think there are many kids in the kingdom. You should adopt a few, you might wanna be a mother deep down and experience.

You couldn't accomplish that due to the 'mysterious death' of your husband." Erla spoke with a smiling face but the coldness in her voice spoke something entirely different.

Luna was shocked at the response as turned to her twin brother 'that was below the belt wasn't it?' 

Keiran chuckled inwardly at her words 'well she deserved it. if i was stronger than her i would have killed her right now but I can't as I am not strong enough.' 

'I would have done that before you could, how dare she eye my big brother like that.' Luna's words made Keiran's heart beat faster as he held her hands while entangling her fingers with his.

"Ara~ I was just saying How cute the kids are, I don't think I am ready for having kids of my own." the woman replied in the same cold voice. 

She might not go against the royal family but she can speak as a head of the family. "You kids should visit our family territory. I will personally show you around."

She said those words to the three of them while winking as well, this caused Aiden to blush while Wang Shu chuckled amusingly at the boy's reaction. 

She went away while swaying her hips in a sensational manner which attracted the attention of most of the male around them and jealousy of the females accompanying those males.

" Aiden we are going to have a good talk after this.." Seraphina words sent a chill through his whole body.

He stood frozen in his place averting his eyes mechanically from the leaving figure of the auburn haired woman he meekly replied "Okay mother.." 

The twins kept chuckling in secret at the behavior of the boy. 

'Poor guy got swayed by the beauty, are these the Beauty traps written in those books?' Keiran asked in an amused tone. 

'yeah, you should stay away from such traps my dear brother.' hearing Luna's hollow voice Keiran laughed even more 'do you think their beauty could match yours.' 

Luna stiffened hearing his reply as a small blush appeared on her white hot cheeks. " Let's go, we have other guests to greet." Erla spoke in a tired manner and Seraphina nodded in agreement. 

All of them began mingling with the guests present at the party. 

The Twins were now talking to the viscount Patel and his daughter, Mr. raj Patel was wearing traditional Indian kurta and pajama while his daughter Pallavi was wearing a saree, her long black hairs draped in her golden saree which highlighted her beauty even more.

Her eyes kept wondering and coming back at the black haired boy, although he was younger than her he acted more mature than her and his height already matched hers. 

He was aware of her glances but decided to ignore it like the girl by his side was ignoring the glances of the boys in the room. "This is my daughter Pallavi Patel, although she is older than you but seeing your maturity I think you guys would get along just fine."

Viscount Patel introduced his daughter with pride and love which gained his attention.

"She is 7 this year and she will be starting her fighting lessons this year, even though she has gained some basic knowledge and has not awakened Ether yet, I want her to be ready, my belief is that having a good foundation in basic fighting would help her once she is awakened." 

His words caused Keiran to contemplate and think about their future actions. 

They have already gained all the knowledge that was available in the library on the surface. Seraphina told them that there was a hidden section where  the more profound and important knowledge was kept protected from the public. 

"That's a good way of thinking. Me and Luna should soon be thinking of that as well." Keiran replied, truly finding his way of thinking good. 

In the world where only fists work one should have some fighting skills as well. 

"You should take it easy, your highness, you are just 5 years old and have a long life ahead of you." Keiran just smiled in reply without saying anything. 

He knew sooner or later another attempt to end their life might happen and they don't want to be used as pawns by their father once again. 

By his side, Luna was interacting with Pallavi.

  "You look beautiful in that dress." Luna complimented the cute girl who beamed at her compliment 

"Thank you your highness, I usually don't wear this but since it was a special occasion i wore it. By the way you look very beautiful in that dress too, Even Prince Keiran looks handsome in that suit." Luna eyebrows twitched at her words 

"Thanks for your words but you see, we don't like these colors. It was just that these outfits were especially prepared for today's event that we had to wear them" Her words and annoyed face caused Pallavi to chuckle 

"Then what color do you and Prince Keiran like your highness?" Luna's gaze turned towards Keiran who was talking to the head of the Patel family. 

"We like each other's color." Pallavi's gaze also landed on the figure of the boy who was talking to her father as she heard Luna's words. Before she could process what she meant by those words both she and Luna saw Keiran freeze as his face turned cold. 

The evening went on as Keiran was talking to viscount Raj patel, he was having a nice talk but something changed when he felt an urge to look around the hall.

Keiran's eyes landed on a figure of a man as his body froze.

Similarly to him Luna froze as well but it was due to the sheer amount of hate and negative emotions that welled up inside of Keiran. These emotions haven't yet surfaced on his face but the intensity of those emotions made both of the twins' eyes glow a little. 

Luna hurriedly walked towards him and pulled him back from dwelling deeper on those emotions. Keiran stabilized himself and reassured luna of his safety 

'System, it's him right? The guy that I saw years ago.' 

He did not need a response to confirm his suspicion but he still asked nonetheless. The next words from the familiar voice answered that query nonetheless.
