Early in the morning, Hai rented a minivan and brought it to the residence. They packed their belongings into the minivan and drove to the city of Xi'an, where the couple's house was. It was a long and tiring drive. Xiaoling was hoping to take a flight there, but Zhao Qi denied it, saying his wife was afraid of heights. So, Xiaoling was stuck in a 14-hour drive.
They had also hired a driver for this occasion, so Xiaoling was expecting a good paycheck from this family. Unfortunately, they didn't look like they could pay for everything.
Xiaoling sat in the backseat with Hai and Qiang, whereas the family sat in the seat in front of them. The passenger's seat was empty, and the driver drove them safely.
