Quarrel

"Master?" Hai called Xiaoling again, trying to snap her out of her thoughts.

They had arrived at the shelter to look after the rescued cats who were sick. They even brought a vet with them. However, Xiaoling had been lost in her thoughts the entire time. The vet examined them, wrote their meds, and left. But Xiaoling kept staring out the window.

"Master?" Hai shook her a little, concerned at her strange behavior.

Xiaoling gasped as the shaking caught her attention, "What?" She asked as she turned to look at Hai.

"Are you okay?" Hai asked, "You look pale. What are you thinking about?" His eyebrows frowned slightly in concern.

Xiaoling shook her head, "Maybe I just need fresh air. I'll be right back." She murmured as she stood up to leave the building.
