Xiaoling just finished putting on the last bits of her makeup when she heard a knock on her door. She looked at the clock to see it was 5 pm already. Weisheng was right on time.
Xiaoling opened the door slightly and peeked out at Weisheng's outfit. Weisheng could only see her eyes, but he knew the purpose of her peeking out like that. He stood still and let her observe him.
He was wearing a casual white button-down top with a champagne-colored sleeveless knitted sweater, and light brown loose pants. His hair was the usual. He was wearing a few accessories here and there, like a wristwatch, a chain on his neck, and a pearly bracelet. He looked like a C-pop idol… And Xiaoling loved that.
Xiaoling opened the door slowly as if she wanted him to observe her the same way she had observed him. It was as if he could read her mind. He smiled unconditionally after looking at her attire. Somehow, they matched even without any communication.
