Chapter 1: Weird things

Katana's Point of View

"KATANA!"

I smirked when I saw who had called me. I'm currently at the location where Racer is frequently held, and I'm one of the participants. I got out of my sports car and approached the people who were waiting for me.

"You will join?" Jelo's question to me? Jerick? Urgh what the f*ck is his name again? Oh! I remember it's Jericho and he's one of the participants in racer.

"When did Katana not join?" Milyana asked sarcastically, I rolled my eyes when they laughed. You are mistaken if you think those are my friends because they are made of plastic, the only reason they talk to me and approach me is because I'm rich and the Silvyrias are one of the wealthiest in this country, so if I'm nobody, those are definitely my haters.

"Are you just going to talk?" I was bored to ask them, and they frowned as a result of my inquiry. They have to get used to my aptitude to be hot-headed and short-tempered. They won't be able to approach me otherwise.

After we decided how much money to bet, I got into my Sport Car, as did the other players, though only three will play because the others are not here.

"Good luck," After hearing that, I stared at him, and Jericho smirked at me. Tsk! Good luck your *ss!

"Ready, set...go!" After that, they began driving their cars, leaving me in the driver's seat with my eyes closed.

"Why hasn't she begun yet?"

"I wonder why,"

"Hey, Katana! Are you going to lose today?!"

"What is her show again?"

After hearing their gossip, I smiled and opened my eyes. Hmm...actually, I'm not going to lose, and the word "loss" isn't in my vocabulary. I drove too quickly and caught up to the previous one. I took down my window and snarled at the driver who had been apprehended before I did. Jericho's car was right next to me, and he was astonished to see me; perhaps he assumed I would simply stay there. Tsk! Your wrong *ssh*le!

"I thought you were going to lose?" he questioned me angrily, and the tone of his voice lifted one of my brows. Jericho has always taunted me, saying that he's the best playboy I know and that he gets all the ladies he wants EXCEPT ME, so his blood has always been boiling for me. I was the same way with him, and I didn't care about him, or any guy for that matter.

"What the—" I just came back to my senses when Jericho went ahead of me, now we no longer next to each other. D*mn! H*ll no! I will not let him win!

As a result, I increased my speed till I passed him as well as the finish line. "You really are good, Katana!" When I came near to Milyana and the other two females, Krisna and Donna, they yelled joyously, and I covertly rolled my eyes.

"Congrats, you won again." Jericho said, his friends Von, Xyco and Welmo are also here. They're all playboy to be exact.

"I said don't do that! Let me go!" After hearing a woman scream, I turned around. Wait, her voice sounds familiar, doesn't it? When I recognized who it was, my eyes widened. Shit! What exactly is she doing here?

"Arianne?" Arianne's eyes widened substantially when she saw me as I approached them.

"Ahm...cousin—" she was about to bow down when she was immediately dragged by a man I don't know; he's simply usually here when there's racing.

"Let go of her," I utter a directive to the man who is detaining my cousin. Yes, she is my cousin; her father and mine are brothers.

"Why should I listen to you? Not because you're the one who always wins in racing, I will follow you right away!" My ears tingled after hearing what he said. His companions suddenly appeared behind him. I grabbed my cousin and drew her close to me before confronting these jerks.

"How brave you are!" Someone shouted at me and grabbed my arm; I raised an eyebrow because of what he did, and one of the things I dislike is when people touch me!

This piece of shit!

"Let go," I said calmly, then closed my eyes firmly. I waited a few minutes, but he still wouldn't let go of my arm, so I twisted it.

"When I tell you to let go of me, let me go! You *sshole!" I shouted, prompting others to back up, and shifted my focus to the man who had been holding my cousin and five others while twisting the man's hand, which is actually six of them.

I let go of the man's hand before punching him in the chest and knocking him unconscious. When the two of them charged at me, I kicked one in the leg and then struck him hard, causing them both to fall. When the other three charged, I leaped up and kicked them in the face one by one. One of them quickly lost consciousness, while the other two were only slightly backward.

"Go cousin!" because my cousin's loudness was distracting, I gave her a bad glance. Do you want to know why I'm so skilled at fighting? Since I was a kid, my mother has been training and instructing me. I often ask her why and for what, but she always says it's important or that you'll know when the right time comes, so even if the training is difficult and painful, I keep going because that's what she said, and I'm glad for that. Nobody can hurt me because I'm skilled at it.

When I knew a fist was going to hit me in the face, I swiftly bent and punched him in the face, forcing him to spew blood. This is one of the things I wonder about since I can shatter even a wall or stone with a single blow.

So, back to reality, there's just one remaining. He pulled out a knife, which alerted me, and he glared at me, as if waiting for the right moment. He sprang at me, waving the knife in the air, but it struck me in the arm; my brow knitted rapidly as I saw it penetrate, yet I had no wound. I gazed and moved my sight to my arm, and the man was astounded by what he saw as well. Despite my confusion about what had happened, I punched his neck without hesitation, knocking him out.

What was that? Are the things I saw true? Is it possible that the knife penetrated my arm yet I was uninjured? What the hell is going on?!

"Yehey! You're the best, cousin!" My thoughts were lost when my good cousin suddenly spoke, so I looked at her.

"Care to f*cking explain?" I asked, raising my brows since her face appeared nervous.

"Ahm... because..." Because she was nervous, she couldn't say anything. I approached her and got a better look at her.

"What?" I questioned with a grimace, and she bowed before replying.

"I followed you hihi." I sighed because of her answer.

Urgh! This girl! For sure, Uncle will nag me again!

"And why are you following me—" I couldn't complete what I was about to say when the cops came. "Damn it!" I curse because it's too late to run.

Urgh! So unlucky!
