C373: Lines formed by Winds

Selah can't believe what she saw. Her eyes caught the woman whispered, smiled and embrace Kahieli. Her jealousy got her anger riled up. She threw out Sycamore and Nimrod. She is about to scold Kahieli when he pulled her by the side of their tent. When she demanded for answers he said that she is a classmate.

"Then why are you hugging her?" Selah inquired her voice are settling down which made Kahieli breath a relief.

"She was scared from what happened. I was just comforting her."

"Comforting? Do you need to hug someone when you comfort them?" Selah's tone are rising up as she attemped to stand up but Kahieli held her in place and put on his words.

"No, it's just she hug me.. I only returned it."

Selah glared at Kahieli. It was the first time she had given him that look and he swears it was the same feeling when you are about to get your head chop off. It was then that Kahieli realised that he messed up.

"I mean, I am the first one she saw, if she saw Nimrod and Syca then she would have hug them instead of me."

Selah pouted her lips and said.

"But you allowed her to get close to you."

The line was not of an accusation but it was like a pleading one. Kahieli can tell that it was Selah who was talking. It's not that she is not the one in his face. It's her honest words.

"I am sorry, she is one of our officers. She is a friend." Kahieli tried to explain when Selah started to sob.

Kahile swallowed his anger and annoyance. He needs to remind himself that whatever occurs tonight it was because Selah is not herself.

"But that is how we started." She said in between sobs.

Kahieli got striked that she was right and that he was left speechless. He can't even form any words to qualm.

On the other hand Saga was able to exercise himself when Ole started hugging everyone on sight. Ain needed to groan as his waist seemed to have been numb. Fur and Agsus started limping. Cherith and Urchin had a crack on their back. Ole started gigling as she twirl and approach a male contestant by the side line and was about to hug him but Saga run and pulled her away from the contestant. Saga apologized and bowed his head.

"So possessive!" Urchin cheered.

"No, do you want to be in the news tomorrow? You can't even straighten your back." Saga defended.

"Yeah, please put her to sleep." Ain begged as Ole tried to approach him again.

"Stop Ole, If you hug me again I will tell it to your father!" Ain warned as he step away from Ole's open arms.

"Tell him what?" Ole teased.

"That your hugging men." Ain excused.

Ole nod her head and eyed Saga as she smile.

"You can.. you can also tell him that... me and Saga... Hiccup..." Her confession got halted by hiccups.

Saga rushed to aid her and to seal her mouth. He took a bottled water and handed it to her.

The men gathered and started looking at Saga suspiciously.

"What?" Saga asked.

"Me and Saga?.." Cherith and Agsus recited.

"Oh she mean we..had some misunderstanding and is still fixing it.. that is why her hug had some.. power." Saga reasoned out as he comb his nape.

"Yeah, we noticed that too. Cheer up. You two will be able to fix it." Agsus stated.

Saga just laughed nervously who would have thought that they will buy it.

Saga escorted Ole who kept walking in zigzag. Saga recalled how he tried to ask Ole if she had feelings for him. Saga can't help but want a rerun. He sat Ole under the nearest tree. He carried a flat rock for her to sit in. He sat in front of Ole and asked.

"Ole, do you really like me?" Saga asked nervously. Why did he believe that people who get drunk can be honest? Saga bowed his head and waited for Ole's answer. Ole spread her arms and hug him as she hummed.

"Yes."

Kahieli can't believe how his tongue got caught in a trap. The silence were heavy and awkward. He needs to reply or he might get his face punched by Selah.

"But it's different with you." Kahieli reach out to pat her head.

"See you are treating me like a child while you smile and whisper to her. Just who is she?! Tell me her name!" Selah demanded.

Kahieli started to look up. He pressed his lips together to align his tone. He can't snap at her if he does. They might start a wrestle. Selah is more expert when it comes to close combat.

Selah stood up and asked with her messy make up due to her sobbing.

"Are you angry at me?"

Kahieli thought that his heart would jump out from her sight but he replied.

"No."

Selah gulped in as she wipe her face.

"You tend to hide your anger when you press your mouth."

Kahieli was bewildered when Selah pointed his habbits. He can't help but feel glad about how she notices everything about him. Kahieli stared at Selah and decided to divert their argument.

"How cute."

His compliment made Selah blush. She started to feel shy as she sat down and cover her face. Deep within Kahieli was glad that finally he can save his head.

The next morning a paparazzi caught a photo of Selah steeping on Sky's thigh as Ole was pulling his hair backward in the middle of the paralysed women. The news were a banner story.

Selah can't help but lock herself within her tent. Ole had to succumb under the blanket as the guys started cheering them. Because of the said headlines... The tale bearer's shop got famous and so is a fandom being born.

When Ophir read the newspaper given by Ain. His face turned unto a blank sheet as his soul floated in surprise.
