C265: Truth a sense of History

Nimrod cant be left behind. He was amazed by how the light feathers easily pierced the enemies when his weapon has weight.

Ironically it seems that Ain noticed how Nimrod would always combat without releasing his coin. The truth was Nimrod cannot control his coin in every direction he wanted. And Ain would always say that is he can control it like it is part of his body when holding it, then he can do it when he use it for long distance combat. Nimrod cannot copy how his eldest brother Kahieli would ball it like bullets or Sycamore who had the same features with Cherith.

When Nimrod heared how they easily cleared the front door. His hand begun to get itchy.

Cherith would patiently help him during training in their house but the reality and imagination have a huge gap of difference.

Cherith tapped his shoulder and said.

"Don't worry, I am here I will support you."

Nimrod inhaled and prayed.

"Our God who planned everything in life. I cast my doubt and worry upon your throne. May this training help me develop. Teach me how to use this weapon properly. Amen."

The coin became a plate. It was the coin where his parents friends are engraved. It was given by Ain when he was younger as a present from his mother. And Nimrod know that the coin was made of pure golden rust. He swinged and the coin grew larger like a basin as it pierce and clear out the area. It took a detour but it instantly got magnified toward his location. Nimrod panicked on how to behold the large basin but before it reached his unsteady hand the original size land on his palm.

Fur and Kish clapped their hand and cheered.

Cherith tapped his shoulders and said.

"Congratulations! You did well."

Fur shouted at the earing device which made Ain fell out of balance.

"We are cleared woo-hoo!" Fur cheered.

"Yeah. Great Job. So please stop shouting." Ain complained.

"And you heared them. How come you guys are not advancing." Ain strictly notified.

"Urchin your to distracted. Sycamore put more force. You won't be able to protect me. See another one pops up above me." Ain instructed.

"Why are you using your bodies? We are aiming for distant combat remember?" Ain pondered which made the two more agitated.

"Will you please stop nagging even for a second." Urchin warned.

Ain raised his hand in surrender and replied.

"Don't give me that look. We both know here that I am doing my job."

Urchin paused the time and approach Ain.

"Stop nagging your reminding me of Hexel!" Urchin argued.

Ain just blink and realised that Urchin was right.

"I know, it's to irritate you. Even if your wise enough. You still got Kiel's spoiled personality. That is why our dear prince please do your task properly." Ain muttured.

Urchin gnashed his teeth in annoyance.

Ain is right. He can't relay on pausing the time all the more. He needs to learn how to utilize his gift. Same goes with Sycamore who needs to be in close contact with the enemy. Urchin admits that Ain got his mother's strategic gift when it comes to battles.

Urchin relased the time and went back to back with Sycamore.

"We need to do some thing or this man will just make a fool out of us." Urchin stated.

"Yes, I want to slap him on the face and have him eat some dry leaves! He just kept nagging." Sycamore replied.

"I am sorry but that certain man can hear you." Ain butt in.

Urchin summoned the second hand of time while Sycamore had his stem full of leaves and thorns.

"We need to pray together." Urchin suggested.

Sycamore nod his head and led them in prayer.

"Heavenly Father who can see us from heaven's view. We are repenting for our attitude during our fights. We are disobeying our teacher and are being distracted the whole time. We keep doing our own thing and forgetting how to rely on you. Thank you for understanding and still being with us despite this conduct. May your mercy be upon us. Amen."

The swarm of ghostly enemies flying above them increased. Sycamore stem turned unto a vine that tangled with Urchins second hand. When they both stamp it on the ground the whole time got faster and it erased all the opponent. And Sycamore's vine blossom beautifully on the veranda.

Ain clapped his hand and proclaimed.

"That's what I am talking about. Now practice individually and of course with me even if it annoys you. Wahahaha."

The kids get some sleep as Kish went to know in Ain's room.

"Can we talk?" Kish inquired.

Ain let the old man enter. The truth was Ain cannot beleive that the man who was of the same age with him before is now an old man with a grand daughter.

"Sure, what is it?" Ain inquired.

"I just want to commend you for doing your best on behalf of the guys." Kish complemented.

"It's not enough. I have to do more for them. Not to repay the others but for them to see that thier kids are capable enough." Ain opened up.

"You know what when I saw how Cherith wield his feather lightly at the moment I foresaw Nevi and this thought cross my mind."

"What if they were just pinpointed on different era like how it happened to us?" Kish honestly stated.

"I don't know but Kennan haven't visit us yet. I badly want to hear from him. And I want to brag the kids improvement." Ain exclaimed as he twirl with his chair.

"This is strange. We were the same age before but now I am way older than you." Kish commented as he got up.

"Anyways don't be too hard on the kids and to your self. Get some rest." Kish bid as he exit Ain's room.

Ain can't forget what Kish suddenly mentioned. Ain can't help but strive more after hearing a compliment from the guy of prophecy within their era.
