The Interview

The day for Seo-yeon's interview finally came. As usual, Ma-ri woke her up early to get to the gym and she prepared breakfast for everyone after that, then prepared Ji-hoon for the day as well. Ma-ri had Ae-cha work as his minder whenever they weren't around and the lady happily took the job.

"You'll do great, young lady. Here take the RAV 4. I'm going to come by later in the afternoon to check on you." Ma-ri excitedly commented with sparkling eyes, Seo-yeon rolled her eyes as she snatched the keys from her. "You're welcome."

"Be a good boy okay sweetheart? Momma's going to be back in a few hours alright?" Seo-yeon arranged the little boy's hair and he nodded gently while waving her goodbye.

Seo-yeon drove expertly out of the estate and drove towards the dance school. She never bothered to search up the dance school online but when she got there, she was stunned. It was a very large dance school where popular kids went. She could tell immediately she got to the gates of the school.

"Excuse me. Who are you?" The security asked her and she showed him her permit to enter the school as one of the people coming for interviews.

"Alright you can go in."

Seo-yeon drove into the school compound and she wasn't quite amazed by the elegance or large size if the building, she was surprised she never knew a dance school for popular kids existed in the city, which sounds weird but she thought she would be a dance teacher in a rather popular dance school with just a small amount of land.

As soon as she stepped out of the car with a duffel bag, a lady walked to her. The lady was dressed in a rather comfortable and casual dance outfit with her hair up in a bun

"Welcome to Elegance dance school. I'm sure you are Miss Seo-yeon right?" She asked and Seo-yeon nodded gently and politely.

"I am Ye-eun and I would be showing you to the building where you would be taking your tests."

Ye-eun politely informed her before leading Seo-yeon towards a large building which was six storeys tall and had the sign "Test/examination building".

Ye-eun led her into the building where other contestants were waiting eagerly.

"There are lots of entries this year for teaching in the school. We had six hundred entries but they actually would be picking just ten." Ye-eun explained quickly, leaving Seo-yeon looked shocked as her eyes widened in complete astonishment.

"It is their way of knowing the best among a large crowd. Elegance is a very popular dance school and the teachers must stand out and not blend in. You'll be going through just two tests. The first is your normal dance which they would just choose thirty out of all and then the final stage is when they would test you on your teaching skills. If you're a good dancer but lack that teaching skill, it is going to be useless today and I'm pretty sure Miss Seo-yeon isn't familiar with teaching."

Ye-eun led her into a large hall where other ladies and men were seated eagerly.

"I am, but not with teaching dance of course." Seo-yeon replied. She had taught Ji-hoon how to be a good boy since she had him and she was sure there was no difference in teaching real kids dance. All she had to do was insert dance in the teaching or she could just mimic her teachers back when she was in dance school.

"Good. So now Miss Seo-yeon is the five hundred and ninety nine to go for judging. I can assure you that you would be there for just two to three hours. Not much. With the improved technology in the school, it would be easier for our judges."

Ye-eun stopped in front of a seat. "I am sure Miss Seo-yeon would want to change her outfit so you can do that in the changing room." Ye-eun pointed at the large door where a few people were walking in and out of.

"Any questions?"

"No." Seo-yeon smiled.

"Since there is no, I might as well take my leave now. If you make it to the top ten, I'll see you but if not it was nice knowing you." Ye-eun chuckled half mockingly before walking away, not even waiting for a reply.

'Arrogant bitch.' Seo-yeon rolled her eyes before searching through her bag and walked to the dressing room. As expected, the dressing room was large and beautiful. The walls were made out of glass except the one demarcating it from the room where they sat.

"I would be taking care of your preparations, Miss Seo-yeon." A young girl not up to twenty years walked to collect her bags. "This way please."

The girl led her into one of the small rooms in the dressing room and left her to change. It was surprising the hospitality given to them but Seo-yeon wasn't moved. All dance schools try to be the best and they do all in their power to do so. It was just like the dance school she attended back when she was in college.

"All elegant and hospitable to guests so they can give good reviews. Not shocking." Seo-yeon hummed as she changed into her dancing outfit. It consisted of a black mesh top and black leggings. She put her hair up in a bun and looked at herself in the mirror before stepping out of the dressing room and her phone rang immediately she stepped out.

"And what the heck is it young lady? I haven't been out for two hours."
