It really doesn't match

In the hospital, Ge-un walked into Ji-hoon's ward as soon as Ma-ri and Seo-yeon left the hospital.

Ji-hoon was completely engrossed in the cartoon show he was happily watching on the TV when Ge-un walked in.

"Ji-hoon." He called,earning the little one's attention as Ji-hoon looked up, he suddenly squealed upon sighting it was Ge-un.

"Uncle Ge-un." He stretched out his hands for a hug which Ge-un gave him with a harmless smile.

"How are you doing?" Ge-un looked at his hand which had a drip connected to it before looking back at him.

"I'm really fine." He reassuringly smiled, Ge-un nodded before sitting next to him to watch cartoons with him.

After an hour, a nurse walked in with a clipboard in her hand. She looked around the room before walking towards Ge-un.

"Doctor, sir Ho-jin sent for you." She politely informed him.

"I'll be there." Ge-un nodded in affirmation before the nurse bowed and walked out of the ward. He turned his attention back to little Ji-hoon who already knew his uncle was about to get busy again.

"Would you like to go with me Ji-hoon? I'm sure you would be bored of the hospital room by now."

Ji-hoon nodded affirmatively and lifted his arms for Ge-un to carry him. Ge-un removed the drip connecting to his hand and closed the skin pinched with a plaster before carrying Ji-hoon and heading outside.

As soon as Ge-un walked into Ho-jin's ward, Ho-jin was dressed in a suit already, getting ready to leave the hospital. His personal assistant was standing next to him with a tablet with him, reading out his schedule for the day.

"You should have enough rest Ho-jin. We don't want your illness springing up every moment." Ge-un made his presence known by the duo who looked up.

"I didn't know you had a child." Ho-jin raised his brows, his gaze fixated on Ji-hoon whose back was turned to him. At that Ji-hoon looked back and their eyes met.

Ho-jin looked confused for a minute as soon as he looked at the little boy who was equally staring back at him.

"He isn't my child. He's my godson." Ge-un rolled his eyes.

Ho-jin didn't seem to hear that, he just looked at Ji-hoon with so much interest.

After a long time staring, Ji-hoon suddenly burst into tears, grabbing Ge-un's collar to hide his face while Ge-un gave the young fellow a pat on his back.

"He hates strangers staring too much at him and your gaze looks like it would kill him." Ge-un continuously patted Ji-hoon's back gently.

"Who is he?" Ho-jin asked.

"I said it a few minutes ago, didn't I? He's my godson."

"What's he doing here?" Ho-jin asked.

"He's hospitalized. He has glioblastoma and pneumonia." Ge-un replied. "I'm looking after him because his mother went to look for money for his surgery."

A frown settled on Ho-jin's lips but he still nodded gently. Ji-hoon, who hid his face, slowly pulled away but didn't look at Ho-jin.

"The driver is here sir."

"Why did you ask?" Ge-un looked at Ho-jin who stood up adjusting his suit and putting on his shades.

"I don't know." Ho-jin replied before walking out of the ward.

"You can't even say goodbye. So rude." Ge-un called back but Ho-jin just snorted.

As soon as Ho-jin walked down into the parking lot through the private elevator so he would avoid everyone, he stepped into his Lamborghini which was being driven by his personal assistant.

"Pay all the bills for the child's surgery and get his mother's pictures for me." He ordered straightaway

"Yes sir."

As soon as Ho-jin's car drove out, Ma-ri's Benz and Do-yun's Lexus drove into the parking lot. Ma-ri was the first to head out, calling Ge-un to arrange everything they needed.

As soon as they got up, Ji-hoon rushed to hug his mother who lifted him up, hugging him back. "How are you doing my love?"

"Ji-hoon is fine mom….." Words got stuck in his mouth as soon as he saw Do-yun behind. He buried his face in his mother's breasts so he wouldn't see his monter of a father. He still remembered the day Do-yun almost killed innocent mother. Although he was still small, he could remember clearly.

"It's okay Ji-hoon." Seo-yeon pat his head before heading towards the room where Ma-ri stood waiting for Ge-un to come out with the tests which they were sure shouldn't take long.

They all suggested coming to Ge-un because he would never lie and he doesn't even know how to cover up. He says what's wrong directly without beating around the bush.

"What if the DNA doesn't match Do-yun's? What will I do?" Seo-yeon whispered to Ma-ri who pat her back gently.

"We just have to hope it matches." Ma-ri bit her nails nervously, eagerly waiting for Ge-un to walk out with the results.

"Momma." Ji-hoon called from between her breasts where he still hid his face. "Is Ji-hoon and momma going back to dadda?"

"No sweetheart. We aren't going back to him." Seo-yeon smiled kissing his forehead. "We would never go back to him."

"Then why is he here?" Ji-hoon looked up at his mother's face.

"He said you aren't his son so we want uncle Ge-un to check if that is true." She explained as simply as she could.

"Am I his son?" Ji-hoon asked.

"We don't know yet sweetheart. The test results aren't out yet. We'll have to wait patiently." Seo-yeon pat his back and he nodded, peeking at Do-yun who was again busy kissing Eun-ji. Seo-yeon covered his face and he looked at her.

"Who is that aunt with him? Is she not your friend in highschool?" He asked and she nodded. "She married dadda?"

"Yes she did. Let's not talk about it right now alright baby? Don't let it bother you."

Seo-yeon kissed his cheeks and he nodded, resting his head on her breasts, enjoying his mother's love.

After what felt like an eternity, Ge-un walked out of the examination room with three papers. He was looking at it with total disbelief.

"What is it Ge-un?" Ma-ri asked, to see Ge-un still shocked despite looking at the papers before walking out is a bad sign.

"Seo-yeon's DNA is a perfect match with Ji-hoon's but Do-yun's DNA didn't match with Ji-hoon's at all. Not even 0.1 percentage." Ge-un replied handing both of them the papers. "Do-yun isn't Ji-hoon's father."

'No' Seo-yeon fell to her knees covering her mouth as she looked at the paper.

'This can't be!!'
