Chapter 12

~ Jungkook's POV ~

"But... he's in a medically induced coma right now because he had some brain swelling due to the beatings he received we will have to wait until he wakes up to see if he has any brain damage" Well fuck.

"Also do you know who is his baby's father is?" The doctor asks.

"W-wait w-what?" We all widen our eyes.

"Oh we need to know so we can get the father to sign consent for us to start a D&C Procedure" BITCH WHAT?!

"W-Wait I'm the f-father and what is that and w-why?!" I didn't even know he was pregnant but I know he wouldn't cheat on me.

"Oh I'm terribly sorry but he miscarried due to being repeatedly punched and kicked in the stomach and also um he being brutally beaten and raped caused too much trauma for the baby to survive and a D&C Procedure is where we go in and remove the baby and to make sure nothing is wrong. It's simple and we do it all the time. It's nothing to worry about"

"Um oh- okay w-where do I s-sign? W-WAIT HE WAS R-RAPED?!" We were all shocked but what seemed weird was Yoongi he was clenching his fist and he looked like this isn't the first time he has heard this.

"Yes sir I'm sorry," The doctor says as he hands me a paper and pen I read through it and sign it giving them consent to do the procedure as I finish signing the doctor walks away leaving me shocked, overwhelmed, and crying in the arms of my hyungs.

~ Jin's POV ~

"WAIT DOCTOR um wh-what was it?" Jin says as he catches up with the doctor.

"Are you sure you want to know sometimes it makes it harder?" the doctor asks.

"Um yes, please," Jin says unsure if Jungkook would want to know.

"I'm sorry it was a baby girl" The doctor whispers in Jin's ear and walks away.

(Before we continue I'm gonna say I'm trying to make this as realistic as possible so I did some research and I found out you start showing a baby bump from around 12-14 weeks and you can't know the gender of the baby until around 18-21 weeks so I think I'm gonna make Taehyung like 19 weeks pregnant so that way it kinds makes sense and let's just say he hid the little bump he had by wearing baggy clothes or something 😉)

~ Jin's POV ~

'I don't know if I should tell Jungkook or not.'

'Would he want to know?'

'Of course, he would Jin that was his child stupid!'

'Ok, enough I decide if he asks I will tell him.'

"Jin Hyung what did you talk to the doctor about?" Jungkook asks me eyes still teary.

'Oh fuck I don't know if I should anymore.'

"Um, I uh- asked what was the gender of the baby?" Jin says more like a question.

"Oh um w-what was it?" Jungkook asks me his lip trembling.

"Um, are you sure you want to know the doctor said it can make it harder?" Jin says putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Wouldn't it be harder not to know? Just tell me, please" Jungkook pleads.

"Ok um well i-it was a girl I'm sorry Jungkook" Jin sadly says because he knew how bad Jungkook has always wanted a daughter especially after he met Taehyung. He always said to me he thought whether they would have a boy or girl they would be beautiful just like Taehyung.

"O-oh uh I- okay," Jungkook says turning away from Jin.

I see his shoulders shaking and I know he is crying.

"Hey it's ok calm down breathe in and out slowly," Jin says walking closer to Jungkook worried about how much and how hard Jungkook is crying.

"You want to come with me?" Jin asks.

"I guess so, where?" Jungkook said calmed down a bit.

"To see if we can see Taehyung who knows it could make you feel a little bit better knowing he is still alive and he's gonna be ok," Jin says.

"Y-Yeah and um I know I don't say this a lot but um t-thank you Jin hyung you're a great friend no a great brother," Jungkook says.

"Aww thanks and you are a great little brother," Jin says smiling hugging him.

"Now enough of this sappy shit let's go see our baby," Jin enthusiastically says playfully pushing Jungkook away.

"Yeah ok," Jungkook says chucking.

~ Jungkook's POV ~

Me and Jin go to the front desk and ask if we can visit Taehyung and well...

"Hey um I was wondering if we can see Kim Taehyung he was brought in a couple of hours ago?" Jungkook asks the lady nicely.

"Okay just give me one second," The lady says as she picks up the phone and dials a number I hear her say something like "Hello is Mr. Kim allowed visitors?" I see her nod and say okay a few times until she hangs up the phone and turns to us.

"Um can you wait like twenty minutes or so?" she asks.

"Um sure but if you don't mind me asking why?" I try to say as nicely as possible.

"Um well, there was a slight problem during the procedure so they are ju-"

Before she even finishes I cut her off by saying, "What happened is he ok?!"

"Yes he is it's just a little bit more difficult to operate on a patient in his condition," she says unsure.

"W-What do you mean?" Jungkook says.

"Well it's harder to do the procedure when the patient isn't in normal health and he is in a medically induced coma so we are extra careful when they are in that condition"

"That doesn't answer my question what happened?!" I raise my voice slightly.

"Jungkook calm down um Mrs. I'm sorry it's been a hard day especially on him can you just tell us what happened please" Jin politely says.

"Well um it was rare but it happens he started bleeding but don't worry they stopped the bleeding and he's ok you may go see him in room number 60 in fifteen minutes now,"

"O-ok thank you," Jungkook says.

(Time skip - Fifteen minutes later)

"Kim Taehyung visitors may go now" I hear the lady call us in.

I bow to her and mouth a quick thank you before me and Jin go inside and the sight before us breaks my heart and I'm sure Jin feels the same way.
