Tiberian

"How did you hunt the vampires?" asked Arasmus.

"Yes, how did you hunt the vampires?" asked Takei.

"No one has hunted the vampires," said Takei.

"I did not even know that they could be killed," said Arasmus.

"They can," said Tiberian as they walked ahead.

"How?" asked Takei.

"Just like you kill anyone else. Chopping their head off," replied Takei.

"But," he said and looked at them. "It is not so simple,"' he added.

"They will kill you, at first fight of threat," said Tiberian.

"Then how do you kill them?" asked Takei again.

"You drop a scent of blood, leaving a trail of it leading to a path they would not take properly," said a Tiberian.

"I am letting you in a secret," he said.

"The vampires walk only a certain path because they can see only that path," said Tiberian.

"If they walk off the path then they can't see," said Tiberian.

"And there is one more secret," said Tiberian.

"The scent of the blood has to be strong for them to wander off the path," he said.

"Not everyone's blood is really strong," he boasted.

" I need to try," said Takei with arrogance.

"I don't intend to try any of that sort," said Arasmus.

Arasmus had deduced that Tiberian had or still does perhaps belong to a royal lineage. Arasmus, the son of a humble farmer. His blood was not strong. He looked at Takei. He does not look like a commoner, nor does he reek of royalty.

A strange fellow, he deduced. "I shall try it tonight," said Takei. They all looked at him with worry. Perhaps I should not have told him that, thought Tiberian. But I do not know him all that well, so I don't really care. Arasmus on the other hand wanted to see if Takei was going to kill a vampire. He too really did not care about the life of Takei. After all, he was just going to kill him a few hours back.

From afar a man came flying when the three of them were talking. Aridien, the twin brother of Takei. He had a Katana with him and he came swinging like a storm towards the three of them. He caused a whirlwind as he came for the life of Takei. The rest of them were blinded by the wind. Takei had fallen down as Aridien's sword cane at the throat of Takei. He scratched the throat of Takei and blood spilled. They all looked at him in shock. "What have you done they asked him?"

Arudien looked at them. He had short hair and one of his eyes was blue. Evil dark blue. As though he could see only with one eye. He snared at them and spoke a few words in curses. The blood of Takei fell on the ground and they could hear the footsteps marching towards them. Trembling sounds in the ground erupted all around them. Tiberian stood like the warrior he was. Arasmus was scared and wanted to run. Aridien looked around in shock.

"What is happening?" he asked them.

"Vampires," said Arasmus trembling. Tiberian had his sword fading the darkness which was soon to be enveloped by the vampires. Takei got up and tried to control the rush of blood. Aridien stood confused. He was distraught and in a conundrum.

"Who do I need to attack?" he was confused. As Arasmus was about to run away. He was told not to by Tiberian.

"You won't make it," said Tiberian to the retreating Arasmus. He turned at Takei.

"Your blood is strong enough," he said to him as the vampires had come to the fore.
