Chapter 4: Destruction.

" Flight system destroyed, thrusters destroyed, shields destroyed, automations destroyed, weapons destroyed." Avalon said after the ship was hit.

" Fu*k! Fu*k!" Henry cursed as he hit his head on a chair close to him, blood gushed from Henry's head. Samuel quickly stood up before any of them could stand, he rushed towards the control box.

" Avalon, can we still fly?" Samuel asked loudly as his neck bled.

" I think you didn't hear me very well, flight systems are…" Avalon was saying emotionlessly before Samuel cut it off.

" I asked you a question, answer me now!" Samuel said sharply and his subordinates were already on their feet, getting their weapons and treating the wounded others.

" We can't fly." Avalon responded.

" Fu*k!" Samuel shouted as he covered his head with both of his hands, he found an empty chair and he sat down as he thought of what he could do in this situation. Right now, fifteen men can only make it out of this alive if he makes the right decision.

" Cap, what are we going to do?" A soldier asked but Samuel didn't respond, he just stared at the wall, thinking.

" Sir? What should we do?" Henry stepped forward and he managed to calmly ask Samuel, after his question, Samuel jumped off his seat and he approached the control box again.

" Avalon."

" Sir?" The robotic voice sounded.

" Can we repair the flight system?" Samuel asked with a bit of hope.

" No." Avalon responded coldly and the hopes of sixteen men shattered immediately, then a computer in the control box of the ship buzzed.

" Control is requesting convo, sight was destroyed by the attack." Avalon informed.

" Put them through now!" Samuel said.

" We can see your situation right now from here, you should leave the planet immediately and head to Earth." A voice ordered.

" And how are we going to do that?" Samuel asked.

" Activate 'Ceison' now and get the fu*k outta there."

" We risk dying if it goes wrong." Samuel said, Ceison is an extra engine added to the ship Incase something goes wrong with the spaceship, it is capable of flying the ship but the engine doesn't have enough power to fly the ship to Earth and the risk is that when powering it up, it might explode the ship if the power exceeds it's capability or the power might just go off when they are in space and they would be on their way down to death.

" You would die if you stayed there, just one attack is capable of doing so much damage, you can't survive another attack." The voice said impatiently.

" Get out of there! It's an order." The voice added before it went off. Samuel heaved a deep sigh as he stared blankly at the control box with the soldiers behind him, waiting for his decision.

" Avalon, activate Ceison." Samuel finally ordered after six seconds.

" Yes sir."

" Ceison activated, it would be completed in six minutes." Avalon said.

" You should make the time shorter!" Samuel said.

" I can't, activating Ceison is dangerous, hastening the program might cause your deaths." Avalon said unhurriedly and Samuel didn't say anything anymore before turning to the soldiers, he looked into each one of their eyes deeply.

" Get ready and pray." Samuel said.

" Pray to God, we are standing in something that might explode any minute from now." Samuel added.

" Sir, your attention is needed!" Avalon suddenly shouted.

" What the fu*k?" Samuel shouted as he approached the control screen, he saw the ship cameras capture a man flying towards the ship. Samuel and his subordinates were surprised, a man flying! The man was dressed in a mediaeval armour that had a green colour and he had fire all around his hands as he floated in the air, he stared at the ship coldly but he didn't attack again, he looked like he was taking the ship into memory.

" Get ready boys! It's playtime, get your weapons and let's kill this strange creature, but be careful, you might die, he's a strange type of opponent you have never faced." Samuel said and the soldiers walked to the exit while Samuel stayed back.

" Rana!" Samuel called a soldier back, the soldier came back into the control room.

" Get oversight, control on Earth needs to see the fight."

" Copy you sir." Rana responded, she grabbed the advanced camera set and she went ahead to join the other soldiers.

" Avalon."

" Sir?"

" Keep powering Ceison, if you are done, inform me!" Samuel said he didn't wait for a response before walking to the exit to meet the soldiers waiting for him.

" Yes sir." Avalon said after Samuel left the room. Samuel walked to the exit and he saw the soldiers waiting for him, he saw them psyching themselves up, some praying and some checking their family pictures.

" Come on boys, we would be going back home." Samuel assured as he walked to the front of the team and he opened the exit door, they were finally about to set foot on Savias.

" Rana, ensure sight always." Samuel said and the exit door finally opened, they filed out with Samuel at the forefront, they quickly formed an assault formation after getting out of the ship, the door immediately closed behind them. The man that attacked the ship just looked at them coldly with anger in his eyes, he looked exactly like humans on Earth with brown hair and a brown skin.

" Attack!" Samuel shouted and the soldiers removed the safety on their guns but before any shot could be fired, the man threw a fireball into their midst and they were all sent flying. The man flew close to the ship and he threw a fireball at the ship, following up with another fireball, then another, then another until the ship went up flames then blowing up with its pieces all over. The soldiers couldn't believe their eyes, the ship that would take them out of here just got destroyed, there is no leaving here, they realised. Samuel stood up and shot rapidly at the man that destroyed the ship, the man quickly conjured a fire shield that stopped the bullets from reaching him, he flew to another location as he directed a long stream of flames towards Samuel, Samuel jumped out of the way and the fire burned the ground he stood a few seconds.

" This man is really crazy." Samuel said as he stood up and he ran towards him, he threw a contact grenade towards the man and just like he expected, the man conjured a shield and when the grenade touched the shield, it exploded. The man was sent to the ground by the power of the explosion, Samuel ran towards the spot the man fell to, he continued to shoot at that spot but he didn't know what happened to the bullets because dust was all up where the man landed.

" Get the fu*k up boys!" Samuel shouted and three soldiers including Henry joined him as they shot into the dust.

" Two soldiers down!" Vivian shouted as she joined the four soldiers shooting into the dust. The information bothered Samuel, he thought they couldn't die easily because they are altered beings with higher survivability but it seems they are not strong enough to survive attacks of the beings living on this planet.

" Let's bring him down." Henry shouted, encouraging the other soldiers, after that the dust settled and they saw the man surrounded with a fire shield, he looked angry as he stared at Samuel and his subordinates. The man ran swiftly towards them with a blade like weapon made with fire.

" Move out of the way!" Samuel shouted as he jumped out of the way but before any of them could get off the way, the man already got to them. The man slashed his fire weapon at a soldier's neck and his head went flying, he stabbed another and he finally slashed Vivian in the waist, dividing her body into two. It was a gory sight that Samuel and Henry watched with wide eyes, they just saw three soldiers get killed in seconds, murdered brutally with their intestines, organs lying on the ground. The man turned to look at Samuel, walked towards him, grabbed his neck but before he could do anything, Samuel detonated a bomb that was fixed in his armor and they both went flying, well Samuel's body pieces went flying while the man was sent flying in one piece. Henry gasped as he saw what Samuel did, he looked around and he saw that he was the only soldier standing on the brown sand with bodies, organs,metal all around him. The man floated back to Henry and he stood opposite Henry then sighed as he flew away. Henry was stunned, this man just fu*king killed his whole team, except him, he didn't even fight him, what just happened? Henry fell to his knees.
