Chapter 20 - Super Powers

Lewin imediatelly got up from his chair and started jumping and laughing hysterically.

"YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!! FINALLY!!! YES!! YES!! YEEEEESSSSS!!!" He screamed and punched the air in excitement.

After cheering enough, Lewin went back to his chair and sat down, He had to come back to his sences.

As good as having another creature with a Supeior Gene was, he had to figure out how exactly they got those genes and their capacities, and jumping and cheering about it wouldn't help with anything.

Lewin closed his eyes while still smiling like an idiot while slowly analizing the information about the family.

He already knew that the mother had something to do with the experiments Britania had realised some years ago, so she started from there.

After taking a look at the information, Lewin frowned, there were a loot of informations and details about this Superior Gene, but he put them aside and just focused on the most important details.

First of all, it seemed like the Gene haven't originated from the mother, but from her husband who had taken part on the experiment.

As soon as Queen Laila allowed the research team to test on human subjects they dispached some personel to search people that not many people would miss if disappeared.

The Laboratory personel knew that at that time, the Husband and the Mother were passing some serious financial problems, and needed to find a way to support themselves.

The personel said that if any of them took part of an certain experiment, surviving or not, they would be paid 30 Egret naoris, that was worth about 30 thousand regular naoris.

The Mother wanted to go, but the husband prevented her and went instead.

on the place the experiment took place, he was injected with little doses of Soul Essence in it's pure form, some doses of liquid Soul Essence as well as that kind of empty Soul Essence.

The husband came back after 5 months later, but he was... Changed.

Somehow, in the process of being injected with Soul Essence, some distorted fragments of memory of Lewin Process creating the world appeared in his head, or better, because of the Soul Essence entering his body, he got memories the SOUL ESSENCE had kept into itself when ordered to build the world.

Normally, the creatures on the planet couldn't control the Soul Essence, but because the husband had got some memories from Lewin, and because he though he was Lewin for a short while, the Soul Essence missundetstood HIM for LEWIN, and he was able to control a small amount of Soul Essence because of that.

The husband's head had got so messed up because of those fragments of memories colliding with his own memories on his head, that he ended up spending the little amount of Soul Essence that obeyed him to give him the powers he had seen on these memories, and attending to his request the Soul Essence did it's best to imitate Lewin's powers, and it generated a new organ close to the man's hearth that produced "Soul Essence" just like Lewin's Soul produced Soul Essence, and the man was able to use a power -although faaaaaar inferior- equal to Lewin's

The husband had became crazy at that point in time, and he had created that power with his crazyness, while thinking he was Lewin, so he also accidentally created it's weakenesses, and all it's utilities. So he knew everything about it. Every. Single. Thing.

After Getting home and getting greeted by his wife, the husband then started to use his powers to make the wife also develop one of those organs.

One year after the man came back home, they had their first child, and 2 years later they had their second. Both the child were born with the organ, but just at the age of 5 did the organ start to develop, and everytime it grew the kinds felt excruciating pain, the Organ grew every 1 week and a half, or so, and it grew 120 times for each of them, and was the same size as their mother's, and it stoped growin, just the husband's continued growing.

2 years later, the father's organ stoped growing on the 270th time. The husband was saddened by this, but he just shrugged and got over it.

Or he tried to, but , happened to him the same that happeed to Laila whethe Soul Essence regenerated her body, he got addicted to the feeling of the energy running though his body.

He wanted to feel it more, he wanted to feel it so much, that on the next week that his growth stoped, the husband packed some clothes and left his house. He was going to do the only thing he knew would allow his organ to continue growing: absorb nutrients from creatures stronger than him.

And like this, he left his family.

On the few days after the man left the house, the mother cried rivers whe she though about it, and when her kids asked what had appened to their "Daddy", she always answered that he had went on an adventure and would soon be back.

Her husband, before leaving, had tought her and her children everything about that power that they had been blessed with, so she knew very well what her husband left to do, he was goin to the Outer world to kill beasts to try to make his organ grow more.

But she though that no matter how strong her husband was, he wouldn't be able to compete with the beasts on the outside world, and would certainly die.

And like this, we get back to the present time.

After processing all the information, Lewin was impressed by how strong this Superior Gene was.

But after he was done with his happiness, Lewin started getting mad.

"REALLY?! MY Soul Essence MISSTOOK me, for an ANT?? Wow, am i really THAT avarage???" he brought out his Soul Essence and made it float in front of him.

He was complaining with the Soul Essence.

Lewin gave a sigh.

"Haah, what am i even doing?" He muttered as he made the Soul Essence slowly go back into his body.

He was mad, but honestly, his happiness was far too great to be affected by it.

Finally, he had taken the first step towards his objective of ressurecting Vin.

Lewin gave a low smile.

"I did it, i made the first step, i can do this!" He said as he slowly got up and started walking in the direction of the stairs of his basement. He was so happy that he was in the mood for some ice cream.

But just when he had climbed 3 steps, he stoped.

"Wait... Since the husband left the house, the entire family started to get isolated from the rest of the world trying to hide their powers..." Lewin slowly walked back to his chair and sat down.

"....Doesn't that mean that they're never gonna spread their genes...?"

Lewin sat back at his chair staring blankly at the globe
