As the motley crews strode through the settlement, Leonard took his time and let his eyes wandered around, inspecting the condition of the living environment of this messed up world that he and Ryuji had landed into.
The condition of their settlement could only be described as miserable to his standard, even the condition that he lived in back in the Walking Dead world would look like that of a five star resort comparing to the environment here.
Ruined building in disrepair, same to any form of roads, nothing had remained intact- as for the people themselves, they've seemed to had lost a piece of their soul, living their live like rat within the settlement.
"This is our ways of life since the bomb was dropped and the world gone to hell." Jeanne told the both of Ryuji and Leonard, seeing the expression on the face of both of them as they looked at the denizen of the enclave.
"I see..." that was all Leonard could comment.
"So where are we heading now?" he then added, changing the topic.
"First we have to register you into the base, then you can just roam around as there isn't any free up space yet, we only have so many available spaces to settle in people." Jeanne replied.
They walked toward what look like a convenient store at a cross section of the street which had been refurbished into the "register" building.
Jeanne walked toward the glass door which were now reinforced with metal bar for extra protection and pulled it open.
"Oh? Jeanne? What brought you here?" the moment the party entered the building, the voice of a man sitting on a chair greeted them, he had a shaggy unkempt hair style and seen to have not been wasted for weeks as they look oily and hard.
Other noticeable feature of the man include the fact that he lost an eye and a deep scar was running across his face along with a prosthetic for one of his leg.
"Robert, I need you to register these two in." Jeanne replied back to the man greeting with what sound like an order.
"You found fresh meats outside this time? That's unusual, one of them is a beautiful young maiden at that too, the other look like an idiot though." the man name Robert commented as he judged them based of their appearances.
"...can I kill this guy?" Leonard asked Jeanne.
"Same, I want to kill him too- oh hey! This is the first time we ever agreed on anything!" Ryuji added to the conversation.
"Please don't… you're going to fuck things up for me if you were to do that…" Jeanne told the two freaks of "nature" whom she encountered previously and was blackmailed into delivering them into her own hometown, if shit were to come down in the end, it would be all on her head.
"Ahahahaha! Look like you found yourself quite a handful there." Robert laughed at the reaction of Leonard and Ryuji and that of Jeanne response.
"Oh you don't even know half of it." Jeanne mutters in a low voice.
"Here, take a sheet and write down your information, anything we should know about you- write it down, I'm trusting you folks to be honest here since you were brought here personally by Jeanne." Robert went behind the counter and pulled up two sheets of blank paper and handed it out to the two of them, along with two pens to write.
"Things include your name, age, gender and what you do before hell dropped from the sky, if they're useful, I might be able to connect you up with a well paying enough that's enough to feed yourselves." Robert reminded them.
Upon receiving that blank piece of paper and the writing utensil, Leonard glanced back at the trap ancestor- who was surprisingly, furiously writing down everything about himself, from outsider perspective what he's written seem to be a god damn autobiography! It was paragraph upon paragraph of English writing.
"What?" Ryuji seem to noticed Leonard gaze and asked him as to why he was looking at himself, but when he saw Leonard shifted his gaze toward the piece of paper he understood what was going on within Leonard mind.
"Being Japanese doesn't mean I'm not proficient in the English Language?! I might not look like it but I'm a B2 level in my English Language Proficiency?!" the trap pouted.
"I understand that...but do you have to write so much? From afar if I didn't know better that right there look like your entire life story." he pointed at the ex-blank piece of paper now filled to the brim with writing and was about to move onto the back side of the piece.
"Whatever, do what you wish, it's not like we're going to stay here forever." Leonard shrugged before he too, scribbled down some random gibberish to fill the piece of paper before handing it back to Robert- whom also spit out a spoon full of blood upon reading the information written within.

"What the hell is this supposed to be?!" Robert honestly wanted to jump at Leonard and kick the living shit out of him after he read what Leonard had to say about himself.
"You asked for information- information was given." Leonard replied half-heartily.
"..." Robert was speechless.
"What? You expect me to spill my personal information? You're really stupid if you fell for something like that one, what written down below is all you needed to know." Leonard told him.
Robert had a sudden urge of wanting to beat Leonard for the second time now, he clearly understands the meaning behind those words.
"You don't need to know anything about me." is that Leonard was telling him.
"Fine, whatever, you win." Robert gave up on trying to argue back with Leonard and went back to the counter and deposit in piece of paper and took out small handbook and tossed it to Leonard.
"Don't lose that one, use it to record down transaction stamp, you need that to verifies stuff, you lose it? Well, too bad- you ain't getting another one for quite a while, books are hard to make." Robert told him in a pissy mood before he went over to Ryuji and picked up his well written resume and admiring it.
"Why can't you be like your girl-...." Robert was in for another shellshock when he looks closely at what Ryuji has written down.

After registering in with Robert, the group of three- Jeanne, Leonard and Ryuji left the little office and went out to look for foods, of course there was only three of them as the entire team of Jeanne doesn't need to follow her everywhere she goes.
As they went strolling through the street, they encounter a particular scene of a group of people carrying men on stretcher rushing pass them.
"What was that all about?" Jeanne seeing this scene, pulled one of the running man over for some questioning.
"Our group ran into two Lickers in the ruin of settlement A when we're out salvaging for valuable, those bastard got us good- no time talking now, I had to go!"
"Lickers? As in more than one?" Ryuji face drained of color as he comprehends those words.
"Oh that sound fun, where is settlement A, let go there." Leonard asked.
