145 chapter 46

Down in the arena below, Leonard was having too much fun at poking Kayaba with his sword while leaving most of the damages that he dealt with the shadow tendrils itself.

Leonard began his work spamming any skill that was available to him and literally melting Kayaba monstrous form health slowly as time passed.

"Can you end this already?! How long are you planning to drag this out?! Just finish this so I can kick you all out already?!" Kayaba wiggled and struggled ever more violently.

"Can't you see I'm trying to do that here?!" Leonard complained as he once again stabbed his sword into the buttcheek of Kayaba, burning off another one percent of the man-beast health.

"You all probably going to die of old age before you even manage to kill me! That barely tickled me?! Come on! Work harder!" Kayaba began to wiggled even harder- in hope of burning off more health point in order to make it easier for Leonard.

"And whose fault is that?! You're the one that set your health to that out of ten bars?! And make me face you in a solo fight?!" Leonard shouted out in frustration as he stabbed into a dark crevice between the leg of the giant beast.

Which made him howled intensely.

"Why the hell did I set the pain limitation to that of fifty percent!" Kayaba lamented.

"I see that you're also a masochist on top of being a sadist heh?" Leonard commented as he pulled out the sword and continuously spamming all his skill onto the back of Kayaba.

"What the hell is this skill anyway? Seriously?" Kayaba wiggled once more, by now roughly two health bar has been depleted.

"I'll tell you once I kill you." Leonard brought down a Negative burst onto the giant beast back.

*boom!!! Instantly an explosion exploded out and took a huge chunk off of Kayaba health, bringing down by roughly a quarter of his health.

The entire process took him- Leonard roughly half an hour before he manages to bring down Kayaba to the last two remaining bar of health- which was now into the red zone.

"Hahahaha!!! FINALLY!!!" suddenly the entire body of Akihiko Kayaba monstrous form began to turn red and a berserk status appeared right under his last health bar.

"Oh, crap...why did I forget about that one!" Leonard curse loudly as he saw Kayaba struggled even more violently than before and began snapping off more and more shadow tendrils as he struggled, too quickly for the other tendril to form up and bind him again.

"Hurrghhh!!!" with the last bit of effort the last tendril was snapped and he was now freed.

"Ahh...much better now," Kayaba growled as he ripped the last remnant of the tendril apart.

"Now, please allow me to have some payback." Kayaba howled in a cold rage as he used both of his now freed hands in an attempt to catch Leonard.

"Oh no! Not happening!" Leonard used the shadow step to escape from the attack and appeared at the other end of the arena.

The attack missed- but the devastation that was caused upon impact made him went paled, Kayaba literally broke through the system immortal object protection and made a hole on the sturdy stone wall that surrounded the Colosseum.

"...oh crap...this is bad." Leonard inner chibi cried out in fear.

Just when Leonard thought that attack was the worst that could happen, Kayaba decide to gave him another big surprise as he opened his mouth fill with dagger-like teeth, and soon red particle of light began to suck into his mouth.

"Nope! Not going to happen!" Leonard had a bad feeling about the skill that Kayaba was using and began to use a quick charge of Demon Wrath and teleported right behind the head of the giant wolf monster using shadow step.

"DEMON WRATH!" however- Kayaba seems to have predicted this turn of event and turned his head to focus on Leonard at the very last moment before firing off that charged beam from his mouth.

The force of Demon Wrath and the energy fired off from Kayaba mouth generated a huge explosion that engulfed half of the Colosseum.

"Leonard! No!" Sachi screamed out from the audience stand and tried to climbed the railing to jump down- however, she was blocked by a forcefield preventing that action from being taken.

After the explosion died down, Leonard appeared on to the undamaged side of the arena, breathing heavily and body covered with wound- his health point was now in the red, but he couldn't say that Kayaba fared that much better than him.

From the distance, he could see that Kayaba only had at most ten percent of his health left.

"Don't worry about me Sachi! I'm still alive- just barely though!" he shouted out to the worried girl who was about to jump down from high up in the audience area- but was forced back due to the forcefield that was placed over that area.

"That was a good fight...even when I had to take over and controlled the last remaining boss of Aincrad, I could only barely come close to beating you in a one on one fight- for that you earned my utmost respect." Kayaba complimented him as he saw his own health points situation and that of Leonard.

"It is a good one...I never came this close to dying before in my life...you were the first to brought me this close...Akihiko Kayaba." Leonard used his sword to pushed his body up.

"But it all shall end here and now...I still want to go home and reunited with my family and friends after all…" Leonard struggled to put up a smile on his face as he pointed the blade at Kayaba.

"But do you honestly think that it would be possible? You could barely withstand a single hit from me as it is now…" Kayaba told him in a calm voice.

"I could say the same to you...with only that much left, I doubt you could survive another skill from me...like this one here." a cold smile then appeared on Leonard face as black shadow began to envelop his entire body, covering it in darkness with nothing but a pair of glowing white eyes that shined like a light bulb in the abyss.

"Void...form!" Leonard's voice muttered out words that mixed with negativity, despair, and insanity as he held up his baleful Vengeance.

"End...this!!!" Leonard burst out in speed that was twice as fast as before and impaled the blade into the giant monster heart, and set off a chain reaction of negative energy inside of his body- imploded it from the inside out.

"...you...have..won….con..gratulation...player…" that was Kayaba last words before everything collapsed and everyone unconscious fell into that of darkness...that processed happened to all the players throughout Sword Art Online.

However- that was not the case for Leonard and his certain someone...Sachi.

"Where are we now?" Sachi asked when she opened her eyes, only to see that she was standing on a large platform within a vast and boundless sky.

There she also met Leonard...and an all too familiar face...Akihiko Kayaba in his lab coat, smiling at the both of them warmly.

Of course, on the sideline was Kirito, Asuna and Yui, stood there with a confused face.
